Sitemap nos being indexed
-
Hi! How are you?
I'm having a problem: for some reason I don't understand, Google Webmasters Tool isn't indexing the sitemaps I'm uploading.
One of them is http://chelagarto.com/index.php?option=com_xmap&sitemap=1&view=xml&lang=en . Do you see what could be the problem? It says it only indexed 2 website. I've already sent this Sitemap several times and I'm always getting the same result.
I'd really use some advice.
Thanks!

In my experience it can take a while to see sitemaps updated, particularly if you are a small site and are updating it daily. Unless your site really is changing everyday, I would submit it less often and/or just be patient. You didn't indicate how long you've been waiting, but at least a few weeks to a month or two if your site is new or "small". If there is a problem, your Webmaster Tools will let you know.
I agree with Crusader as well. Sections should be broadly included in the sitemap...specific individual pages aren't really a concern with this (assuming you link well to them). You are only meant to provide the structure of the site to Google (main section, sub sections, subdomains, etc.) and let them come index when they are ready. But I do think you probably need to move onto other efforts and be patient for Google to get around to visiting your site.

It could possibly be that Google doesn't view many of your URLs as being unique. I notice that almost all of your URLs could be grouped into two sections. Each section of URLs being almost exactly identical since you have almost no unique content on any of your pages.
Also, and I may be wrong on this part, submitting a sitemap doesn't necessarily guarantee that all pages will be indexed.

Website is not indexing
Hi All, My website URL is https://thepeopeople.com and it is neither caching nor indexing in Google. Earlier the URL was https://peopeople.com. I have redirected it to https://thepeopeople.com by using 301 redirections. I have checked the redirection and everything else is fine and I have submitted all the URLs in search console also, still the website is not indexing. Its been more than 5 months now. Please suggest a solution for this. Thanks in Advance.

Do you Index your Image Repository?
On our backend system, when an image is uploaded it is saved to a repository. For example: If you upload a picture of a shark it will go to - oursite.com/uploads as shark.png When you use a picture of this shark on a blog post it will show the source as oursite.com/uploads/shark.png This repository (/uploads) is currently being indexed. Is it a good idea to index our repository? Will Google not be able to see the images if it can't crawl the repository link (we're in the process of adding alt text to all of our images ). Thanks

All of my pages are indexed except for 1\. How could that be?
Yesterday we were ranking #4 for our main keyword and today we're not even indexed. Not robots.txt issue, we've just added a rel canonical to page and submitted our sitemap again. What else could we do?

Why google index my IP URL
hi guys, a question please. if site:112.65.247.14 , you can see google index our website IP address, this could duplicate with our darwinmarketing.com content pages. i am not quite sure why google index my IP pages while index domain pages, i understand this could because of backlink, internal link and etc, but i don't see obvious issues there, also i have submit request to google team to remove ip address index, but seems no luck. Please do you have any other suggestion on this? i was trying to do change of address setting in Google Webmaster Tools, but didn't allow as it said "Restricted to root level domains only", any ideas? Thank you! boson

Getting Google to index new pages
I have a site, called SiteB that has 200 pages of new, unique content. I made a table of contents (TOC) page on SiteB that points to about 50 pages of SiteB content. I would like to get SiteB's TOC page crawled and indexed by Google, as well as all the pages it points to. I submitted the TOC to Pingler 24 hours ago and from the logs I see the Googlebot visited the TOC page but it did not crawl any of the 50 pages that are linked to from the TOC. I do not have a robots.txt file on SiteB. There are no robot meta tags (nofollow, noindex). There are no 'rel=nofollow' attributes on the links. Why would Google crawl the TOC (when I Pinglered it) but not crawl any of the links on that page? One other fact, and I don't know if this matters, but SiteB lives on a subdomain and the URLs contain numbers, like this: http://subdomain.domain.com/category/34404 Yes, I know that the number part is suboptimal from an SEO point of view. I'm working on that, too. But first wanted to figure out why Google isn't crawling the TOC. The site is new and so hasn't been penalized by Google. Thanks for any ideas...
