Linking Facebook - Twitter - Website - G+ Profiles

During a spectacular presentation at Seattle Interactive Conference, Rand discussed how Google is able to see linkage between different social networks and a Google profile. Outside of setting up your Twitter feed to send loads of messages to your Facebook fans (or vice versa), is there a best way to communicate the "linkage" between your social media profiles to the search engines?
Eg - How do you best signal to Google that your Twitter, Facebook, G+ and your website are from the same entity?

On Google+ you can link up to other social profiles within the about me section.
You can link up to other profiles in the about section on Facebook pages or the info tab.
On Twitter you can link up in the about me, but limited text.
Use your main website to link up all the profiles too
That is your home base for linking out to all your social areas. -
I would start by filling out the "Other Profiles" area on your Google Plus account. I'd also link my facebook, twitter and linkedin accounts so that you can share your updates between all of your social networks.

What is the best kinds of things to share on Facebook pages? I read conflicting results on the matter. In my experience memes and funny pictures get the best results. Next is creative art or user generated things. Videos and links to my site, even when they are funny or high quality pieces, get almost no interaction. I can't see the new Facebook Insights.
Is anyone else having trouble seeing the new Facebook Insights page? If I click on Insights I get a message at the top that says, "Take me to the new Page Insights" but if I click on it it does nothing. Apparently people are "talking about me" and I can't see the new stats!
