Coral Cdn
-
I am thinking of implementing coral cdn to my site however I have serious doupts. It says you just add .nyud.net to the end of your urls. Now that is easy but in my read it totally masses up my url structure. How do you think google handles this? Does it handle that at all?
I would like to implement a free cdn as for that particular page. Does anybody know any free service good and free?
Anybody? Experience?

Once I had a project where my rankings have improved a lot by raising yslow points from 80 to 96. Cms was joomla, the design of my choice was a totally white one, to load fast by itself but even this way adding some extra craft seemed to be benefit. Since then I tend to be concerned about this issue although I haven't done nothing like testing with it since that project. Maybe I'll do again a planned improvement to see again how much to care about these factors. Thanks for the advise.

I dont know if its worth it, i dont know your situation but your server should be cacheing these files.
If you use public caching, your content will be cached on proxy servers all around the world, much teh same as cdn will do for you. i like to have my content where i can get at it quick, rather then on a remote server.
i see a few questions from you Zsolt about load times, unless you are really slow, i would not worry. Matt Cutts said you need to be very slow before you will have any problems. less than 1% of servers fall into this category

Here's a great pot about setting up AWS if you decide to give it a shot
Good luck to you
-
I don't know how aws sorks, I have juts coma accross Cloudfare as well, but that lets you keep your own domain, just offers additional wervers so you don't lose domain credit. I have not implemented it so far, but it looks good.
-
We use AWS for hosting design images and external files such as js,css, etc. But, we host all of the content images on the main domain because we want Google to give the main domain 'credit' for that content. In my opinion, this is the best route to go with cdn's.
Does this help?
PS. I came across CloudFlare today, but I do not have any experience with them so please let me know if you try it and they work out.

Google not Indexing images on CDN.
My URL is: https://bit.ly/2hWAApQ We have set up a CDN on our own domain: https://bit.ly/2KspW3C We have a main xml sitemap: https://bit.ly/2rd2jEb and https://bit.ly/2JMu7GB is one the sub sitemaps with images listed within. The image sitemap uses the CDN URLs. We verified the CDN subdomain in GWT. The robots.txt does not restrict any of the photos: https://bit.ly/2FAWJjk. Yet, GWT still reports none of our images on the CDN are indexed. I ve followed all the steps and still none of the images are being indexed. My problem seems similar to this ticket https://bit.ly/2FzUnBl but however different because we don't have a separate image sitemap but instead have listed image urls within the sitemaps itself. Can anyone help please? I will promptly respond to any queries. Thanks

Technical guide for Setting up a CDN to host our images, as well as creating an image sitemap, and setting up the CDN in GWT?
Hi All! We're thinking of setting up a CDN to host our images with a CNAME on a subdomain of our site. In terms of SEO, I was wondering if any of you knew of a pretty complete technical guide for setting it all up. Including whether or not we need to create an image sitemap, and setting it up in GWT. Thanks in advance! Vince

How to remove my cdn sub domins on Google search result?
A few months ago I moved all my Wordpress images into a sub domain. After I purchased CDN service, I again moved that images to my root domain. I added User-agent: * Disallow: / to my CDN domain. But now, when I perform site search on the Google, I found that my CDN sub domains are indexed by the Google. I think this will make duplicate content issue. I already hit by the Panguin. How do I remove these search results on Google? Should I add my cdn domain to webmaster tools to request URL removal request? Problem is, If I use cdn.mydomain.com it shows my www.mydomain.com. My blog:- http://goo.gl/58Utt site search result:- http://goo.gl/ElNwc

CDN Being Crawled and Indexed by Google
I'm doing a SEO site audit, and I've discovered that the site uses a Content Delivery Network (CDN) that's being crawled and indexed by Google. There are two sub-domains from the CDN that are being crawled and indexed. A small number of organic search visitors have come through these two sub domains. So the CDN based content is out-ranking the root domain, in a small number of cases. It's a huge duplicate content issue (tens of thousands of URLs being crawled) - what's the best way to prevent the crawling and indexing of a CDN like this? Exclude via robots.txt? Additionally, the use of relative canonical tags (instead of absolute) appear to be contributing to this problem as well. As I understand it, these canonical tags are telling the SEs that each sub domain is the "home" of the content/URL. Thanks! Scott

I went CDN and now Roger is ticked off?
I have optimized my blogs (for speed) and it was a huge success. One site that was loading around the 7-8 second mark now actually has more content including a walk on video and my best load time is a .42 seconds with both sides giving me low to mid 90s. Roger has been pretty quiet lately but now as the CDN requires 302 redirects to function with dynamic content, I have hundreds and hundreds of 302 warnings. I did not realize that site speed was weighted so heavy but 3 of my blogs have gone from PR1 to PR3 overnight without any other changes at all. I know Google will penalize a site with too many 302 but I am pretty sure that until you can afford a memcache system this is standard practice. Just wanted to make sure that I do not have another HARD lesson ahead. Thanks

Cloud Hosting + CDN worth it?
Hi, Never used cloud hosting before. Found a service for $60-70 a month, just want to give it a try on a new website. They also have an additional CDN feature for additional $40 a month. It promises great results as well as google's love. Does cloud hosting+cdn worth it's money? Website will have around 500 visitors a day, but all will be ppc, so there is no need for a server. but reliability is a great issue Thanks, Serge
