Lots of youtube videos, but no links.

Hi,
I have more than 100 videos on youtube with thousands of visits. This videos are often inserted in other websites, but I don't get links from them. How to take advantage of it?

There's really no way to force people who embed your video to link to your website. The best you can do is encourage them to do so within the content of the video itself.
Maybe it would be beneficial to play around with how you present your website in your videos. Pay attention to what works and keep improving on that.

I already put a comment with the URL of my website in all the videos (image and text comment).
The question is that there are many video compilation websites, where people gather and share they favorite videos. But embeding my videos in those websites do not generate links to my website.
So my videos are shared, I get traffic (I guess) but I do not improve my inbound links.
I have to think about how to promote the forum. It's a good idea.

Consider mentioning your website or a page on your website within your videos.
"Check out www.mywebsite.com/something-people-like.htm For More Awesome Content"
The idea is that if you have a page on your website that provides value to your viewers - and they know about it - they will naturally link to it when they embed your video. The trick is figuring out exactly what people will find valuable (more valuable than your YouTube Channel) and effectively communicating that to your viewers.
It might be a good idea to promote your forum within your videos. I'm sure many people have questions and it doesn't apear to be very clear where to go.
Another idea would be to promote a like to your courses within your videos.

These videos are linked from my website, where I also have a forum and theory.
The fact is that if I look for "rockandrollparamunones.com" or "rock & roll para muñones" in google, I can find hundreds of links to webs that embed my videos, but my website only have few incoming links.
I have no idea of SEO. Just beginning. I didn't know link building was so important!
So I would like to know if I can take advantage of that to get links to my website.

Can you post an example of a video here, I think that would help a lot to narrow down the search for a solution.
Do you have a website to which you want to drive traffic from these Youtube videos or are you looking toward getting as much trafic on your youtube videos as possible?

Hello, First of all I know that all the links which come from Pinterest are no follow. However about 4 years ago we made a campaign to pinterest for one of the websites we are managing. Although the thing was going well we had to stop it for various reasons. Right now, 4 years later, this thing has grown big without any move for us! All these years our pins, which were great in many aspects, were continuously reppined. This has lead to the point where the Google Search Console is reporting that about 500.000 links are linking to our website from Pinterest. We know how this has helped us or not concerning the actual refferring traffic from Pinterest but our main question, and this where we want the Moz's community help, is how is this helping from a SEO aspect. Multiple language redirect, link building and social sharing
Hi all, I have 3 questions bother me for weeks, thanks advance for any answers. We are an online langauge school, provide many content about learn Chinese , the site is http://www.chinesetimeschool.com/ 1. Langauge issue. As you can see, It's a multiple language site, when a user first time visit the site, it redirects (302) the user to his own language. I have read many articles about this, most said 301 is good than 302. But 301 is a permanent redirect, so it can only implement on one language, right? For example, if we 301 redirect http://www.chinesetimeschool.com to http://www.chinesetimeschool.com/en-us/ for english speaking users, we have to use 302 redirect for other languages, ie, 302 redirect http://www.chinesetimeschool.com/ to http://www.chinesetimeschool.com/fr-fr/ for French speaking people. Or in other words, we cannot use 301 to redirect home page to different language page, right? In my understanding, it will mess up google which language page the home page redirects to. 2. Link building. Our editor created a lot content, but from Alexa we only see 85 links back, which means our content has few exposure. We want to get more links back especially for the English version, any advice? should we find a US company help us since we are in China not famliar with US? Any good company or guys good at link building/content exposure suggested? 3. Social sharing. We have around 300,000 followers on facebook, many content pages has hundreds of shares, for example, this page http://www.chinesetimeschool.com/en-us/articles/new-years-greetings-in-chinese/ has 129 shares and 333 likes (I use Moz open site explorer tool), but if I check http://www.chinesetimeschool.com/, only has 130 shares and 414 likes. So I think shares of a page won't be counted in the domain shares. This makes me thinking of 2 things:

A. Will social shares of home page be more important than other pages? If so, we need share more of our home page.
B. Even if we have a lot page shares, I didn't see any google traffic changes (for at least half year), will it mean social page shares has very few influences to google seo? Many thanks!

Special result for linkedin when you search for 'link'
Hello everyone, I found this merely by chance. I wanted to open linkedin on chrome and hasty as I am i just typed 'link'. Wanted google to understand and return linkedin as the first result so i could just click on it. This is what it returned. Google allows you to search directly on Linkedin from the results page. Its quite fascinating for me. I hope my knowledge isn't too outdated. R0mp9aO

Webmaster is showing hundreds of external links from 1 G+ post
A page on our site is registering as having 262 external links coming from two pages on Google+. The page it comes from is for posts related to #weddings, but I can't find the post with our link. Has anyone else experienced this? What are the strategies in Link Building? How to increase referral traffic?
Guys please help me to increase reference traffic for a dry topic website such as automotives, insurance, real estate. I tried social bookmarking and networking but I did not find any difference I even did Blog commenting forum posting but it did not make much difference to me It increased my search rate but it not helped in my referral traffic. You have a limited budget of $2,000 (US). Do you buy links or create / seed content?
We have a client who is being told by their incumbent supplier that they should renew their annual contract to buy links on 4 domains by their incumbent SEO agency. It will cost approximately $2,000. We are recommending they produce decent content, like a video, an infographic based on data that is exclusively theirs and seed this with bloggers / real world publications / trade press / etc. The client is struggling to make a decision because he's caught between two SEO's with different approaches. He doesn't have the budget for both. He's scared of losing his position in the SERPs. So, I said I'd get some votes from other SEO's. Which would you recommend?
