Database Driven Websites: Crawling and Indexing Issues

Hi all - I'm working on an SEO project, dealing with my first database-driven website that is built on a custom CMS. Almost all of the pages are created by the admin user in the CMS, pulling info from a database.
What are the best practices here regarding SEO? I know that overall static is good, and as much static as possible is best, but how does Google treat a site like this?
For instance, lets say the user creates a new page in the CMS, and then posts it live. The page is rendered and navigable, after putting together the user-inputed info (the content on the page) and the info pulled from the database (like info pulled out to create the Title tag and H1 tags, etc). Is this page now going to be crawled successfully and indexed as a static page in Google's eyes, and thus ok to start working on rank for, etc?

So even though that page is not technically an actual page (HTML file) that sits on the server permanently, Google will index it as such?

Almost everything these days is DB driven! I see no issues and the same optimization rules apply. Yes, google just sees the final rendered version of the page so aside from potentially slower load times, it all looks the same!
Once it's crawl-able, go to town!

X-robots tag causing no index issues
I have an interesting problem with a site which has an x-robot tag blocking the site from being indexed, the site is in Wordpress, there are no issues with the robots.txt or at the page level, I cant find the noindex anywhere. Amp version of website
Hello & thanks for reading its maybe the monday morning blues but i have two versions of a website - www.gardeners.scot and www.gardeners.scot/AMP/ the pages on the amp version have canonicals pointing to the "normal" website Should the links on "www.example.com/AMP/" point to the amp website or the normal website? what are your thougths?

What are best options for website built with navigation drop-down menus in JavaScript, to get those menus indexed by Google?
This concerns f5.com, a large website with navigation menus that drop down when hovered over. The sub nav items (example: “DDoS Protection”) are not cached by Google and therefore do not distribute internal links properly to help those sub-pages rank well. Best option naturally is to change the nav menus from JS to CSS but barring that, is there another option? Will Schema SiteNavigationElement work as an alternate?

Homepage indexation issue
Hello all, I've been scratching my head about this one for a while now... Let me explain the situation. I'm working on a multi-lingual website. Visitors are redirected (301) when they visit the homepage to the correct domain.com/en/default.html, domain.com/nl/default.html, domain.com/fr/default.html or domain.com/de/default.html based on browser language. I have doubts about the impact on the ability for Google to index the website because of that, but that's a problem for another day. The problem I'm having right now, is that domain.com/nl/default.html, domain.com/de/default.html and domain.com/fr/default.html are all indexed. When I search for the URL in Google I get the correct page on number one so I'm pretty sure those are indexed correctly. When I search for domain/en/default.html though, the homepage appears without /en/default.html extension. Does this mean Google assumes the domain.com page is the same as domain.com/en/default.html even though the redirect that's in place? Would be great if someone could shed some light on this. Thanks in advance!

Carwling and indexing problems
hi, i have noticed since my site was upgraded that google is taking a long time to publish my articles. before the upgrade google would publish the article straight away, but now it takes an average of around 4 days. the article i am talking about at the moment is here http://www.in2town.co.uk/celebrities-in-the-news/stuart-hall-has-his-prison-sentence-for-sex-crimes-doubled-to-30-months now i have a blog here on blogger and the article was picked up within six mins http://showbizgossipandnews.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/stuart-hall-has-his-prison-sentence-for.html so i am just wondering what the problem is and what i need to solve this my problem is, my site is mostly a news site so it is no good to me if google is publishing new stories every four days, any help would be great.

Interesting indexing issue - any input would be greatly appreciated!
A few months ago we did SEO for a website, just like any other website. However, we did not see crawl/indexing results that we have with all of our other SEO projects - the Google webmaster tool was indicating that only 1 page of the site (although only 20 pages) was indexed. The site was older & originally developed in Dreamweaver, so although that shouldn't have been an issue, we were desperate to solve the problem & ended up rebuilding the site in WordPress. While this actually helped increase the number of pages on the site that Google indexed (now all 20) - we are still seeing strange things in the search results. For example, when we check rankings manually for a particular term, the new description is showing, however, it is displaying the old title text. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Why my site is not indexing in google
