How long does it take to seen Title in SERP

A friend of mine asked me how long it takes before Google shows the right Title in the SERPs.
He changed the title of his homepage some weeks ago but Google still shows the old Title in the rankings...
I'm a Wordpress user and don't have this problem, when I change something in the title it doesn't take that long to see the changes showing up in SERPs

weeks... just checked sitemap & robots.txt and there was indeed a problem with some pages that were blocked.... thx guys!!!

OK, if he hasn't already, he should create a sitemap. This should help speed things up and allow all the pages on the site to be crawled by the bots.
As an example, this is SEOmoz sitemap.
When were the amendments made? Are we talking days or weeks?

Probably submit a sitemap once again to google and reduce the crawl frequency to a lower duration.

No, the site is online for quite some time, and he told me Googlebot did crawl the page yet...

It can depend on how often Google bots crawl his website. When did he make the change? Is it a new site?

Commas in title tags
Hello Guys, Thanks in advance for all who can help me with this I am helping a dinnerware company with their SEO. I told them to change their ambiguous title tags for more specific ones. However, they opted to create some title tags with 2 or three keywords separated by commas. I have attached an excel image illustrating their new title tags.. Different title tags and meta descriptions for desktop and mobile?
Is it possible to use different title tags and meta descriptions for mobile users? For Example: In the SERP for desktop you'll see the desktop title tags and meta descriptions, but in the SERP for mobile you'll the mobile versions of the webpage.

Do quotation marks in content effect SERPs?
Some of my art object products have words and phrases engraved on them. The words relate to the images on the product. In the product descriptions, I have been putting quotes around the entire list. Would I get better long tail results if I didn't use the quotation marks? In other words, do the quotes make everything between them an exact match phrase? For example:

Getting Duplicate meta title, and meta description errors
I have a website with shopify CMS. At the run time some pages generating itself with Tags name ( or we can say it search pages) which has been used in collections. so it's Meta tag and description is same as well as collection and in SEO tools it showing duplicate meta title, description errors. 1. http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/tanks/girls-skate-clothing

Same titles in Webmasters' tools
Hello, In webmasters' tools I get a message saying I have 505 pages html improvements that are possible because 505 of my titles are used on two pages. Actually, webmasters' tools is tripping since the doubles they find are: www.example.com and www.example.com/ Anyways, I have indexation problems and I was wondering if this could be the case and how to solve that.
