How do I find out the total number of Google +1's my website has?
-
I can't for the life of me figure how to see the total number of Google +1's my site has.
Yes, I've tried Webmaster Tools, but it only shows +1's from the past 30 days. All days prior to that are grayed out.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'll keep working on it. When i get something that will give you all 10,000 pages, I'll send you a private message.
Thank you for the vote of enthusiasm Jennifer!

Whoa! You built an app that quick to help answer this question (and obviously get the information in general). That is so cool! I just tried the app, it's neat. Thanks for doing this!
-
Well my site has over 10,000 pages, so I probably shouldn't do that
Either way, I had forgotten that OSE gives me the +1's for my top 25 pages. Since those are the most likely to get +1'd anyway (at least that's my guess), it gives me a good idea.
If for nothing else, thanks for that reminder.
And keep working on your +1 app, you'd have something very unique if you built the first user-friendly way to get complete +1 data, especially since Google's own Webmaster Tools can't seem to do it!

I tried that, but it looks like it only allows me to pull data from the last 30 days.

Oh yes, I realize the call only gets it for that specific domain. The thing you could could do is download a full list of the URL's in your domain, and paste them into the textbox. Then put that into Excel and run a sum on the count column. Sorry if that didn't make sense. If I get my site crawler operational, I may be able to implement a way to just put in the top domain and have it find all the other pages and tally them for you. But as of now, the list is the best I can do.
for instance.
The export tool from OSE should have all your pages listed. Given it's not a huge domain, the tool should be able to handle it.
Let me know how you make out, if not, I'll have time tomorrow night or maybe Sunday to improve the functionality.

Ah ha! The backslash is the secret.
Here are the results for Apple: "http://www.apple.com/",13476
Unfortunately, that's roughly the same figure I get from OSE (13,472), so I think your application is also only pulling data for the home page.
Either that, or I'm misreading OSE, and it really is pulling +1 data for the entire domain...

I didn't get anything for apple.com either. But I checked opensiteexplorer. It looks like the backslash needs to be used.

Cool idea, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.
For example, here's the results I got for Apple:

Try Google Webmaster Tools

If you exported a document with all the url's of your domain, do you think this spreadsheet program would work? I fooled with it a little, but couldn't get the function to work. There's a Curl call you could try if you're a programmer
http://www.tomanthony.co.uk/blog/google_plus_one_button_seo_count_api/
Edit: Since I'm a programmer, I thought I'd see if I could make it work. Here's a really quick application of it.

So it does. And the link report only gives the social information on the top 25 pages of your domain... Sorry about that!
-
Thanks, Andrew. I just tried that, but it seems like OSE only gives +1 data for the exact URL.
I need +1 data for the entire domain.

If you have a pro account for SEOmoz, http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/ will give you Facebook, Twitter and Google +1 statistics. I'm not sure how long it takes for them to find them though.
Edit From my reply: I wrote a tool myself as a starting point. http://www.touchoftechnology.com/google-plus-1-counter-for-list-of-urls/

How important is Google Plus - Specifically for B2B Small Businesses?
Our traffic is about 300 visitors a day in a small industrial niche. We have 89 wonderful facebook followers (all friends and no customers) and basically social media is of no interest to our audience. The same is true of all our competitors - we all have twitter accounts, FB accounts etc and they are resolutely ignored by our customers. [For a combination of Industry Sector, Language, Culture, Business Culture and Job Role] That's not the question though 🙂 No one has any Google Plus followers either and no +1's on pages. So if I get 10 +1's on a page will that make any difference? Would 50? Would 500? How much effort should I put in to this? As we are not an e-commerce revenue isn't tied directly to website traffic but there is a correlation. So is it worth spending a bit of time to develop a 'natural distribution' of +1's and then reach out to my contacts to get them to plus 1 me? That is I use lots of different google accounts, with different IPs on different pages at different times and slowly build Or do i just say that this part of the SEO approach is of no benefit and I ignore?

Why does someone's FB page rank so highly?
Hi Everyone, i recently ran a non-personalized search and saw that this facebook page https://www.facebook.com/tampapersonalinjurylawyers ranked very highly for both "personal injury attorney" and "tampa personal injury attorney." The page has very few likes, and they don't even post that often. From my limited knowledge, that leaves me guessing it's because its a quasi-exact match facebook page, but that can't be right...can it? (Ranking screenshot is attached) Thanks, Ruben GO4N11x

Merging Google+ Pages and Google+ Local - how?
A client is one brand with several locations. Previously, we had created a Google+ Page for each location - now we're finding out that we should have created only one brand page with a Local page for each location. Two questions: Is this correct? Do we create a brand PAGE, with separate LOCAL profiles for each address If yes, is there a way to merge the work that we have already done on the pages to the Local profiles? We don't want to lose the followers and updates that we've made to these pages. Thanks for the help!

I am wondering if there is a way to recapture the manager's position on Facebook Pages.
If this is a duplicate I apologize. Our employee had a client's business page tied to their personal page. This person is now a former employee and closed their personal page. That leaves us without full capacity on this client's Business page. Is there anything I can do? Or is the only way to reclaim manager status to start a new page?

Is it worth setting up a Google Plus page for your blog?
Hi All, OK we all know the merit in G+, Authorship etc. I'm a regular user on G+ and I work hard to keep my profile up to date and with fresh content. I have no doubt my increased number of followers has helped my blog rank (which my G+ account is linked to). My question is - is there any merit at all in setting up a separate page for my blog so I can get +1s for it (probably very few). Much like any company page that gets +1s and people to follow that company. Or is this just plain silly and I should concentrate on building my personal profile? Thanks

Facebook competition: what's the best way to do it
Taking some advice/ideas from this seomoz blog post http://www.seomoz.org/blog/99-ways-to-build-links-by-giving-stuff-away-and-improve-your-brand-too-14029 I decided to launch a facebook competition were you like/share the product you want to win. The question is should I be looking for share or likes? From what I have read Share are more valuable than likes, but Likes would be easier to get I think (ie we could get a lot more of them). Here is an example of one of our product pages: http://www.lovefurniture.ie/sofas-furniture/corner-sofas-l-shaped-sofas/rihanna-corner-suite-with-sofabed We already have a like, tweet +1 buttons, but not a facebook share, should it be there? Any feedback or advice would be appreciated
