Looking for sites hit by Penguin for research
-
I'm doing some link profile analysis and need examples of sites hit by Penguin (not Panda).
If you have a site that was hit and are willing to share, please PM me:
- Your site homepage URL
- Main keyword(s) you lost rankings for (preferably keywords your homepage was ranked for but no longer is)
I will keep your information strictly confidential and will not share it. (I will publish the results of my findings, but will not mention any of the sites used for research.)
Thanks.

Thanks. I've seen that data, but I think they failed to distinguish between Panda 3.5 results and Penguin results.

Direct To Site Traffic Decline
Hi Everyone, My company's site went from Http to Https and responsive design last year. After 6 months passed, we noticed a 40% decline from direct visits but revenue saw an increase. Could the 301 redirects from Http to Https cause the drop in direct traffic? Thanks!

Dev Site Was Indexed By Google
Two of our dev sites(subdomains) were indexed by Google. They have since been made private once we found the problem. Should we take another step to remove the subdomain through robots.txt or just let it ride out? From what I understand, to remove the subdomain from Google we would verify the subdomain on GWT, then give the subdomain it's own robots.txt and disallow everything. Any advice is welcome, I just wanted to discuss this before making a decision.

Site not passing page authority....
Hi, This site powertoolworld.co.uk is not passing page authority. In fact every page shows no links unless it has a link from an external source. Originally this site blocked Roger from crawling it but that block was lifted over 6 months ago. I also ran a crawl test last night and it shows the same thing. PA of 1 and no links. I would like to point out that the problem seems to be the same for all sites on the same platform. Which points me in the direction of code. for example there is a display: none tag in the ccs which is used to style where the side bar links are. It's a Blue Park platform. What could be causing the problem? Thanks in advance. EDIT Turns out that blocking the ezooms crawler stopped it from being included.

Penguin 301 Re-Direct
Hi I already know the answer to this but wanted some backup. A friend of mine has asked me to take a look at his site. He was using an SEO company that saw him get hit hard by Penguin. He did the right thing and started all over with a new domain name. I've just noticed that the old domain name is actually setup to 301 to the new domain. This has to be a bad thing right?

Good Morning from 7 degrees C, goodbye arctic conditions wetherby UK, If a site had 100 pages for example & that site was plugged into Webmaster Tools how could you diagnose if all the pages had been crawled? The thing is I want to learn how to diagnose crawl issues with sites, is their a known methodology for this? Thanks in advance, David
