When doing the ranking report I see my site showing up on google with out the www in front. So the report is not picking it up how do I fix that?

The ranking report is not picking up my site even though it's there. It would seem that the www. Is missing from the site on google so it's not registering in the report. How do i fix this?

Unfortunately, to maintain the integrity of the historical data, it requires you to start a new campaign. You can run multiple campaigns simultaneously, or delete or pause any non-essential campaigns.

Can I Edit This in the back gorund or do i have to start the projecdct over again...

It also depends how you set up your campaign in the setup process.
For example, if you set up a "subdomain" crawl for example.com, it will only track keywords for example.com and not www.example.com (because the www is a different subdomain)
To track keywords for www.example.com, you can do one of two things:
- Set up a subdomain crawl specifically for www.example.com
- Or set up a root domain crawl for example.com
The second solution will record ALL rankings for anything found with *example.com in the url, which picks up both the www and non-www version.
Here's a post from Rand that explains this in a bit more detail: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/subfolders-root-domains-linkscape-update-more
Hope this helps! Best of luck with your SEO!

You shouldn't really have both your www.yoursite.com and yoursite.com domains accessible in the public domain, especially for SEO practices. Search engines may view it as duplicate content.
You should use your .htaccess file to redirect all your www to non www or vica versa (assuming your server is Apache enables)
#Redirect no-www to wwwRewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !www.yoursite.com$ [NC]RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.-yoursite.com/$1 [L,R=301]
I might add .... I aint no SEO experts, but I am pretty sure that you should follow the advice above

WWW vs Non WWW for EXISTING site.
This one has sort of been asked already but I cannot find an answer. When we evaluate a new SEO client, previously with Majestic we would review the root domain vs sub domain (www) for which had the higher Trust Flow and Citation flow, and if there was a major difference, adjust the Google indexed domain to the higher peforming one. Is there a way to do this with Moz, Domain Authority, and Sub Domain authority are always returning the same DA for me. Thanks in advance.

Ranking Drop and Google Disavow Requests
My website, www.nile-cruises-4u.co.uk has fallen dramatically for the top industry search terms (nile cruise, nile cruises) over the last 12 months from previous page one rankings to page three which has very badly affected us financially. I found, using Linkdetox, that we had thousands of back-links for non-related anchor-text, mainly porn terms, viagra, etc. I have submitted a Disavow file and request about a week ago and wondered firstly if the enormous amount of these links would have helped cause the drop to page three and secondly if the Disavow request will eventually help the website return to better rankings? Thanks,Colin

Pointing Other URL to My Site? Good or bad for ranking.
A few years ago I purchased a few keyword rich domain names and set up some satellite sites. Spammy I now know. What should I do now? I own the domain names for at least another 3 years. Should I point them to my main site or would that hurt my main site ranking?

Why is Google showing sitelinks for 1 of our keywords, but not the other which is very similar?
For the term "Corazonas Foods" Google displays the sitelinks in the SERP listing. But for the term "Corazonas" it does not. The second term, Corazonas (our brand name), is not a generic term for anything so why wouldn't Google do the same for both terms?

Google seems to be penalizing my site for some reason
I recently took control of a website which did have some pretty big SEO problems, duplicate content being one of the main ones!! Looking back at ranking data the website ranked very well for it's main keyword, #5 for Google, Yahoo and Bing. The ranking then dropped in February 2012 for Google to #64 but stayed the same for Yahoo and Bing. I scrapped the dodgy content and completely rewrote it using a Wordpress framework about 6 weeks ago, still targeting the same keywords and 301 redirecting the old pages to the new pages where applicable. My rankings for Yahoo and Bing are still maintaining their page 1 rankings but Google is still ranking the website on page 5/6. My question is. Is the website getting punished for something that was part of the old website? If so how can I find out what it is and fix it? This website ranked on page 1 for Google for most of it's popular keywords but now it doesn't. I appreciate any feedback Many Thanks : )

Rankings for Google Play Pages
Hey all, I'm relatively new here and certainly new to posting in the forums and interacting with the community but I hope to be much more active in the coming months. I have what might be a silly question regarding search results for a Google Play store-specific query. The company in question has their main North American app that's been out for a month and a half and then an International version that was released just a few days ago. If you run a Google search (NOT a search witin Google Play) for 'Google Play Company Name' the more recent (but less used and ultimately less important, at least for the time being) International app is higher in the SERP than the more used and reviewed North American app. I'm guessing that this is something that will correct itself over the next week as the North American app establishes itself as the more important of the two, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask just in case there's something they can do to affect the results a little quicker. Any advice, input or just a verification of my guess would be greatly appreciated!

Sites Copying my Content Ranking Higher
A number of sites are copying - either 100% word for word, paragraphs, or sentences of my content and are ranking higher. Some sites are doing this with permission/properly and are linking back to my article Others are not linking back or giving credit. Some of these sites, in some cases are ranking higher than me in Google results. What can I do?

301 redirects tanked our site on google - what now?
We had several hundred old pages on the site with duplicate content and new pages with fresh info on the same topics. So I redirected the old pages to the new pages. Next day, plop, we're dumped off google for almost every keyword. Dang I thought they didn't want duplicate content and old funky pages. What did I do wrong and what can I do to fix it? Thanks so much for anyone who can share their expertise. Jean
