SEO traffic had significantly dropped

I know this question has been asked before, but I'm hoping someone can address my specific issue.
We recently did a complete redesign of our site and moved it over to a new server. The site was even "down" for about a week, where we had a static splash page. However since relaunching (it's not been over two weeks) we've seen a significant drop in search engine traffic. We are using Yoast for Wordpress.
The site is The Tech Block. Could anyone see if there is something we're doing wrong?

Thanks a lot for your help. I was under the impression that this setting would prevent everything from page2 onwards from indexing. Isn't that a bad thing? Don't I want all my pages indexed? Could you explain why? I actually read your articles many times, and it's great!

Hi - I think I just answered another one of your questions too
Here's one more thing...You should noindex subpages. There's a lot of them in the index. Here's the settings.
For anyone else reading this, I mentioned in the other answer to also add %%excerpt%% to all the descriptions so there's a default meta description in there as well.

Category pages are fine to leave unchecked if they are well organised and you want them to be found in SERPs.
I would tick the tags like Irving suggested so they are hidden from SERPs - otherwise you'll get 1000s of low quality pages being indexed by Google.
Don't worry about using the meta keywords tag anymore, like Irving said, it's dead and isn't a factor in the SEO algorithm anymore.

if you don't want the page indexed like the tag or category pages check it. confirm in your source code that it is showing up properly too

your tag pages are getting indexed, they should be noindex follow. get the yoast SEO plugin for wordpress and manage your noindex and canonical tags so that you aren't spamming google with pages of low quality and duplicate content

I do not believe the new site structure has changed. For instance, if you click on a link prior to the site update, it still brings you to the proper page.

Of course it dropped, you deleted your site. The old site should have stayed up until the new one was rolled out.
There are so many factors that could have caused your drop in a site redesign, without seeing the old site and new site it's hard to make a determination just on a URL, but did the URL structure change and if so did you 301 redirect?

Google Analytics - Referral traffic being reported as Direct traffic
Hi, I have a link on my www homepage to another subdomain website. Both websites are served on https, and have independent Google Analytics properties. Branded terms CTR drop
Moz Hivemind, I'm working with an ecom beauty brand and retailer who re-platformed their website at the end of August last year. Their CTR dropped from 70% plus for branded terms to 50% over night and has steadily declined ever since, down to the low 30s as an average the last few months. Their rankings for branded terms have remained in the number 1 position, despite a slight blip at launch, which is to be expected. They admit that some new distribution deals with major retailers have added some competition to the mix, but much later in the year. I could totally understand a rankings drop and an initial hit, but has anyone seen anything like this before, is there something on the new site that could impact CTR like this, either in the SERPs or perhaps a reporting issue? As the click itself is taking place in the SERP and their rankings are solid, other than the meta description, which they swear was unchanged the first few months after launch, any ideas what could be happening here? New e-commerce launched, drop in traffic
One of our clients launched a new e-commerce site and there was a significant (60%) drop in traffic in Google Analytics following the launch. We are about 10 days into the new site, and our suspicion is that the move has caused a decrease in their site authority which has lowered their search position. The old site had the store at sitename.com/store. The new site has a Shopify store at shop.sitename.com. There were very few external followed links to the store pages, so we thought that there would be little effect for overall site traffic by moving the store to a subdomain. Any recommendations for next steps on diagnosing the problem and working towards a solution?

Dear Moz Community, This is a Google Analytics question. Using Google Analytics, we're trying to identify trends of visitors on a website from specific social media accounts, i.e: twitter.com/account-x facebook.com/account-x youtube.com/account-x reddit.com/r/account-x Ideally, we would like to be able to see the success rate for specific posts on these social media accounts, and how users engaged on the website after arriving from clicking a link on one of these accounts. Changed URL's, traffic dropped from 2k week to 1K week. Need advice!
Hi Mozers, I recently changed my URLs for my ecommerce site and my traffic went from 2,000 visitors a week to 1,000 visitors a week, over a 3 week period. Traffic is down, so are unique Kwds. I need advice on why this happened and what I should do moving forward. To brief, I have a ecommerce website, www.ecustomfinishes.com. I noticed pattern that a lot of my URLs with a unique URL structure (URL.Com/ProductDescription/ProductName) were getting a lot of entrances ~30-50 a month, and others that followed the path of my subcategory (URL.com/SubCat/Product) were getting 0-3 entrances a month. The seo pattern was that those with unique product URLs were hitting long tail Kwds, and those URLs with /subcategory/product were getting far less traffic. I changed 150 or so urls to be unique. Good idea, I thought. Since then: CON: Since then my traffic dropped from 2200 visitors a week to 1100 visitors a week. -25% week to week, over 3 weeks CON: # of non-paid keywords sending visits: -25% week to week, over 3 weeks PRO: my Urls receiving entrances +10% week to week, over 3 weeks REF: http://imgur.com/GwZT8 Question: What are your best suggestions moving forward?
