Overly Dynamic URL in vBulleitin

I've got quite a few overly dynamic URLs reported like this one

Another good reason to switch to Xenforo if you have to pay to have and SEO Friendly site. Thanks for your response. I have already switched 2 from vBulletin to Xenforo, so this is a good reason for #3.

URL Length Issue

MOZ is telling me the URLs are too long. I did a little research and I found out that the length of the URLs is not really a serious problem. In fact, others recommend ignoring the situation. Even on their blog I found this explanation: "Shorter URLs are generally preferable. You do not need to take this to the extreme, and if your URL is already less than 50-60 characters, do not worry about it at all. But if you have URLs pushing 100+ characters, there's probably an opportunity to rewrite them and gain value. This is not a direct problem with Google or Bing - the search engines can process long URLs without much trouble. The issue, instead, lies with usability and user experience. Shorter URLs are easier to parse, copy and paste, share on social media, and embed, and while these may all add up to a fractional improvement in sharing or amplification, every tweet, like, share, pin, email, and link matters (either directly or, often, indirectly)." And yet, I have these questions: In this case, why do I get this error telling me that the urls are too long, and what are the best practices to get this out? Thank You

404 error for unknown URL that Moz is finding in our blog

I'm receiving 404 errors on my site crawl for messinastaffing.com. They seem to be generating only from our blog posts which sit on Hubspot. I've searched high and low and can't identify why our site URL is being added at the end - I've tried every link in our blog and cannot repeat the error the crawl is finding. For instance: Referer is: http://blog.messinastaffing.com/take-charge-career-story-compelling-cover-letter/ 404 error is: http://blog.messinastaffing.com/take-charge-career-story-compelling-cover-letter/www.messinastaffing.com I agree that the 404 error URL doesn't exist but I can't identify where Moz is finding it. Good job! This URL received an grade A ?

What does this mean ? This page still ranks very bad at Google. So what does it mean that it recives a grade A ?Also, if this URL recives Grade A. It should clearly be optmizied very good on the Keyword. Stil its on page 9 in google. That is very very low on this keyword. Alot of bad blogs, foreign pages, pages without the keyword in heading, pages without any good content etc. rank better.Does this score have anything to do with ranking on google ?Something is clearly wrong with this page. The on-grade tool wont tell me what that it is. And probably dont understand either, since it gives A. Long URLs

My website is hosted by Hubspot. When I create a blog, the URL, as an example, would be: http://www.boxtheorygold.com/blog/bid/27061/Manage-By-the-Numbers/ Instead I am getting the URL below. Google Webmaster tools and moz see this as an error and google says it can't crawl because it is a non-existent page. Users cannot see this page, and Hubspot can't figure it out, but google and moz see it. This problem is occurring on about 25 blogs out of 150. Any ideas? And thanks. Why does it keep displaying br tags and claiming 404 errors on like 4 of my URL's for all my Wordpress sites?

Is anyone else having the same issue? These errors don't actually exist and i think it has something to do with wordpress - how can i fix this?

Looking for a tool that can pull OSE stats for a bulk amount of URLs

I know that people have developed inhouse tools with the OSE API that can analyze thousands of URLs and pull metrics like PA, inbound links, etc. I need to analyze about 80k URLs and sort them by authority and I was hoping that someone could point me to a tool that can do this or let me use their tool. I'm willing to pay for access to it. We could build it inhouse, I imagine that it would be pretty easy, but our IT resources are stretched too thin right now.

Crawler reporting incorrect URLs, resulting in false errors...

The SEOmoz crawler is showing 236 Duplicate Page Titles. When I go in to see what page titles are duplicated I see that the URLs in question are incorrect and read "/about/about/..." instead of just "/about/" The shown page duplicates are the result of the crawler is ending up on the "Page not found" page. Could it be the result of using relative links on the site? Anything I can do to remedy? Thanks for your help! -Frank

"no urls with duplicate content to report"

Hi there, i am trying to clean up some duplicate content issues on a website. The crawl diagnostics says that one of the pages has 8 other URLS with the same content. When i click on the number "8" to see the pages with duplicate content, i get to a page that says "no urls with duplicate content to report". Why is this happening? How do i fix it?
