Finding writers with author rank

Hi i'm interested in finding writers who have author rank (Like Circles and Followers. ).
What is the easiest way to find these writers online, is there any tools out there which can automate this finding process?

Currently there isn't anything out there that will list a G+ profile by Author Rank specifically (or an estimation of one), but there are a couple of tools that might help.
First is Author Crawler, which is best explained on the website.
Second is FindPeopleOnPlus. This can let you search for profiles by keyword, industry they work in, job title and so on - as well as letting you sort by circle count.
Naturally, one would assume that people with greater circle size might have a higher author rank, and then a quick google search for their name ("By First LastName") will show you if they regularly use author markup, which again would theoretically increase their author rank.

I don't know about automated software but I can think of two ways you'd find authority figures in your niche.

Do a search for your niche + blog. Open up the profiles of the people who already have rel=author setup. Check the "have them in circles" counts.

Directly search on G+ https://plus.google.com/ Do a search and then change the results to "People and Pages." Search beyond the brands for individual users.
No idea on the automated tools to find these writers with author rank (or at least authorship setup.) Having a G+ doesn't mean they've enabled authorship, though. The only way to guarantee that is to actually open users in your niche through search results when you see their photos. With Google Code search shut down, I can't think of a way to do a search for those with authorbox or something similar ... good question!

Homepage not ranking for main keyword, all other pages ranking slightly for their own keyword phrases.
Dear Mozzers, We have an ecommerce website (www.pashmina-boutique.com), we want to rank the homepage for the keyword "pashmina". Problem is, we are nowhere to be found, not even in the top 100 search results of Google. It is indexed, we have no crawl errors, except that we had some problems with our hosting (503's), the crawler of Google bumped in a few of those. And we are fixing it. Our other pages, e.g. (http://www.pashmina-boutique.com/15-white-pashminas) ranks for "white pashminas" 24th and "white cashmere pashminas" 23rd. We have done no linkbuilding, in Majestic, you can check that. We have been offline for a long time (over 6 months) and about 3 weeks ago, we did a redesign (SEO). We relaunched, everything is looking fine except the homepage isn't ranking for the main keyword. Could you guys check it out? Is it over-optimization? It can't be Penguin, Panda would be a surprise too. Or do we still have to wait for the monthly Panda data-refresh? We are currently busy with this issue, once this is solved - that the homepage is ranking - we will start linkbuilding. Mr.1000

Not ranking in Google - why???
This will be a bit long, so please bare with me. I have a client in the auto parts industry who wants to rank their homepage for 13 different keywords. We are ranked first page for all keywords in Yahoo! Mexico and Bing Mexico, but not ranking first page at all in Google Mexico. My client's competitor, however, is clearly outranking my client in Google. When comparing both pages, my client's, while not 100% optimized, looks better optimized than their competitor's. Looking at all metrics using Moz, SEMRush, ahrefs, etc... my client's site looks MUCH better on all fronts. I know ranking a single homepage for more than 10 keywords is a difficult task. Our competitor is however, ranking for them, so it's not impossible. The keywords are not even that competitive according to Moz's analysis. I decided to create an optimized page for each keyword to try to rank these pages, but still my client wants the homepage to rank (again, if the competitor is ranking, then it's possible to do this) and I am afraid these pages I created could result in keyword cannibalization ultimately affecting the homepage's possibility to rank. My client had a previous SEO agency working for them and basically all they did was create fake blogs and have lots of keyword rich links directed to the site's homepage. I got the complete link profile from several tools and submitted a disavow requests for as many fishy links I could find, but that hasn't shown any results so far. Note: when looking at the competitor link profile, they have basically just a few links and no external links of real value whatsoever. My client is obviously very frustrated, and so am I. In my SEO experience, it shouldn't be such a difficult task to accomplish, however nothing seems to work even though everything seems to point that my client should rank higher. So now I'm running out of ideas regarding what to do with this site. Any insight you could provide would be SO helpful to me and my client. Low Page ranking and domain authoriy
Hi, Even after building links through white hat, publishing fresh content and infographics every week and links from more than 1700 domains our site’s domain authority is 49 and page authority is 57. Any idea what we are doing wrong? Thank you Chris Adams

My site still out of rank
Hello, I am working on a site for past 3 months, here are the problems with this site, 1. It had a forum full of spam becuase initially captcha was not included, 10000 spam backlinks 2. Affiliate page was also hit by spam about 4000 spam backlinks which were either not existing or porn etc.... 3. Too many internal links which were indexed, these additional links were generated due to tags, ids, filters etc. Existing SEO team decided to remove the forum and after 30 days they blocked it in robots. But within 30 days the site moved from 3rd page to no where. Now after few days lator internal links are also cleaned by putting following in the robots, Dissallow: / *? Dissallow: / *id Dissallow: / *tag Links are now cleaning up, all the spam and bad links are now put into disavow file and sent to google via disavow tool. On daily bases good quality links are been produced such as through content, article submission, profile linking, Bookmarks etc. The site is still not any where on top 50 results. The impressions are decreasing, traffic also do not rise as much. How do you see all this situation. What do you suggest and how long do you think it will take to return to top 10 when good linking is being done and all preventive measures are being taken. I would appreciate any feedback on it. Why are my competitors ranking higher?
I know there could be numerous reasons here why they may be ranking higher but I hope I can get some answers from the details that I provide below I am looking at one particular page so its www.mydomain.com/urlhere.html I have page rank 5 on this url I have had the domain for 7 years I have videos on this page (my competitors do too) I have 65 linking root domains 14,000 inbound links to this page. I have 6 keyword phrases in my title tag My main competitor has a lot more pages and has been around longer, but has lower page rank and lower inbound links to that page. They also have less words in the title tag.

Rank keeps decreasing - Is my site penalized
Hello, I have run into a bit of a predicament. All of my search terms keep dropping on a monthly basis, even though I am adding quality guest posts every month. Even if I get a handful of articles on semi-popular sites my ranking still drop. I am wondering, is my site penalized? My metrics also over exceed my rankings using both the Moz metrics and pagerank. I have a PR of 5 and domain rank of 50+ and I am still getting outranked on every term by people with lower metrics (PR 2 and DR of 30) In the past I have done mostly article syndication through sites like ezinearticles and isnare, but that was about 5 years ago. I have also done a couple of the "pay $50 for 100 directory submissions" once but that was also about 5 years ago. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Anyone have any advice? As you can probably tell I am getting really frustrated. P.S. - This is happening for all pages on my website, not just particular pages. Is is possible to get a site wide penalty, and if so, what can be done about it?

High Authority, What Value?

How long for new pages to rank
Hi Guys, Our website has some really good serps for our established keyword phrases some of which are quite competitive. We recently acquired and have begun selling some new brands through our online shop and launched new pages for these brands around 2 months ago. They are quite competitive ("merrell shoes" and "timberland boots" for example in google.co.uk) terms. Do you think we should get some keyword rich links built into these new pages from external sites such as blogs - or is there chances of ranking well driven more off our overall site authority/link profile? In other peoples experience, what is a typical realistic timeframe to start getting meaningful serps on new pages/keyword phrases (I know that is hard to answer - but ball parks figures appreciated).
