What have i done wrong with this facebook comment code

Hi, i have a page here http://www.in2town.co.uk/trip-advisor/african-safari-is-a-dream-holiday-destination and i am trying to have a comment section through facebook on there, and although i have got it on, i think i have done something wrong as i can manage or delete the comments.

i have read the instructions but not managing to follow them. i have tried going into the developers section but that just gives me the option of

website

apps on facebook

mobile apps

now i have tried going into these but there is no code or anything, so i am not sure what i am doing wrong.

the way i have done it is, by just using a joomla module as i work in joomla 1.5 but where it says Facebook comments application ID i have just put my webpage details in there.

the module i am using is
mod_phoca_facebook_comments

any help in finding the application id or the correct way of doing it would be great

Where am I going wrong?

Hi guys, I am hoping that someone can provide me with some suggestions as to how I can get my site www.purelycaviar.co.uk ranking on both Google and Bing for 'caviar' 'caviar online' 'buy caviar online' and associated phrases that you'd expect people to use when looking to purchase caviar online (in the UK). As it currently stands the site ranks extremely poorly for most associated keywords. The thing is I don;t really have any budget and am feeling a bit overwhelmed with where to start. I am willing to put the time in to understand all this stuff but would love someone to give me a plan of action. Its also worth mentioning that I'm with Shopify so am limited with no server side access. A list of 'To Do's' would be great with an additional list of things which need constant input such as link building and blog posts... Any help massively appreciated!

When doing internal linking back to your home/index file what is the best coding course of action?

When doing internal linking back to your home/index page is it best to set the code as linked to "www.thedomain.com" or "www.thedomain.com/" or just "/" - I'm attempting some canonicalization and our programmer is concerned about linking to just the URL as he's saying it's going to be viewed as an external source. We have www redirects in place that come back to just www.thedomain.com and a redirect to send the www.thedomain.com/index.php back to just www.thedomain.com . Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Meta Tag Description Warning is wrong. Description is indexed and shows.

My crawl report shows that there are 22 Meta Tag Descriptions missing. I double checked on Google and it shows the meta descriptions just fine. What's wrong with the report or am I missing something?

Meta description showing in source code but not being detected by SEO Moz or other tools?

Hello fellow SEO enthusiasts, Re www.appetise.com Our developers have added a meta description and I can see it when I right click on pages to 'view source' as follows : Example : BUT - using the on page seo assessment tool on SEO Moz (and also using other tools which assess title, description and keyword optimisation) - they are telling us that the meta description is not present. Please could someone suggest why? If we can get the meta description picked up - we will reach A Grade for our core pages! And this will make us feel good - and hopefully shine through in our results :-). Any help greatly appreciated. Loss of search engine positions after 301 redirect - what went wrong?!?

Hi Guys After adhering to the On Page optimisation suggestions given by SEOmoz, we redirected some of old urls to new ones. We set 301 redirects from the old pages to new on a page by page basis but our search engine ranking subsequently fell off the radar and lost PR. We confirmed redirection with fiddler and it shows 301 permanent redirect on every page as expected. To manage redirection using a common code logic we executed following: In Http module, using “rewrite path” we route “all old page requests” to a page called “redirect.aspx? oldpagename =[oldpagename]”. This happens at server side. In redirect.aspx we are redirecting from old page to new page using 301 permanent redirect. In the browser, when old page is requested, it will 301 redirect to new page. In hope we and others can learn from our mistakes - what did we do wrong ?!? Thanks in advance. Dave - www.paysubsonline.com

Is this keyword strategy totally wrong?

I have a Driving School website www.1stclassdriving.co.uk. The site is structured geographically with one page per Area
(post code) and one page per Driving Instructor. There are links from each Area page to the instructors
working in the Area. The principal search keyword that I want to optimise on is
"Driving Lessons" The thinking was to target each individual Area page for
"Driving lessons in xxx" where xxx is the particular geographic area
and each particular Instructor to "Driving Lessons in yyy" where yyy
is the main town . The ideal would be that a search on "Driving
Lessons" would pick up the root page - search on an area, say "Driving
Lessons in Croydon" would pick up the Croydon area page and a search on a
town, say "Driving lessons in Mitcham" would pick up the Instructor
that covered that town page. However having read Rebeccas Keyword research guide I am
concerned that this strategy is wrong because of the volume of pages that use
"Driving Lessons in xxxx". Does this fall foul of "Keyword cannibalization" ?
and if so what is the best way of being able to achieve our objective?

Duplicate Content -->?ss=facebook

Hi there, When searching site:mysite.com my keyword I found the "same page" twice in the SERP's. The URL's look like this: Page 1: www.example.com/category/productpage.htm Page 2: www.example.com/category/productpage.htm**?ss=facebook** The ?ss=facebook is caused by a bookmark button inserted in some of our product pages. My question is... will the canonical tag do to solve this? Thanks!

What research needs to be done prior to purchasing an old domain?

I'm planning on purchasing an old domain. I'd like to get an idea whether or not any "shadyness" was going on with the domain over the years. It's still indexed in google. I "whois'd" it, ran it through open site explorer, and did a "link:" search. Anything else you would recommend for researching this domain?
