Weekly Keyword Ranking Report Question

Howdy folks!
Okay so apologies for the n00b question, and additional apologies for going over ground that's potentially already been ploughed.
I'm compiling a tally of the Weekly Keyword Ranking Report for a client. For the past three reports, the particular keyword I'm logging has remained in the same position. However the Change column shows it as having decreased in rank, by the same amount every week.
If there has been no change in the ranking, I would have thought it would display as "Unchanged". As it stands, it shows up in the Declined category, and that seems odd to me.
Anyone have an idea as to why this would be happening?

Thanks James, Actually this was giving me results for Google Canada specifically. For three reports, the arrow went down, but the rank number remained the same. Just trying to manage damage control with the client.

Are you tracking rankings on all 3 engines? I've noticed something like this before where it said I was increasing or decreasing in ranking and I didn't see any change until I looked at Yahoo or Bing ranking and that's where the change was happening.

It's from the emailed report summary; sorry don't have an imgur account—hadn't realized you needed one to upload the screenshot. The weekly report shows you Improved, Declined and Unchanged. It's just disconcerting to see red arrows pointing downwards if the keyword hasn't actually decreased in rankings. Maybe that's just me being picky.

What do you mean by "Declined" category? Can you take a screenshot?

SEO question for page keyword focus - how to make it sound natural
So i have a page that sells say hockey sticks and the website is based in Canada. My keyword focus for the page would be hockey sticks Canada. It seems to be proper to have this key phrase within the page text and also at the beginning of the first paragraph. But how do i write a first paragraph with this keyphrase and make it sound natural. My first instinct is to write the paragraph like so Hockey sticks Canada - We provide excellent quality hockey sticks nationwide which come with a 1 year warranty and have exceptional build quality and exceed performance expectations. But it just doesnt sound natural. If i put it as follows Hockey sticks in Canada are well known for their quality and craftmanship. We provide excellent quality hockey sticks nationwide which come with a 1 year warranty and have exceptional build quality and exceed performance expectations. I add "in" into the keyphrase to make it sound more natural to the reader. Would google look at this and count it as pertaining to the keyphrase hockey sticks canada? Anybody have any info into making key phrases count on the page without looking to unatural to the reader?

A Solution to Keywords Being Grouped in Google Keyword Planner
Hi guys, I am trying to get search traffic for a list of keywords which I put together a few years ago for one of my clients, this was before Google made changes to their Keyword Planner. When I am adding the list into Google Keyword Planner it is "grouping" a number of the keywords/phrases together, and therefore removing 13 of the keywords from the original list of 59 keywords. Is there a way around this so I can get search volume for the original list, and not the cut down one? I am specifically using Google Keyword Planner as I want to get search volume for a number of specific locations in the UK. Any comments/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Jack. Where to use which keywords...
After doing keyword research and coming up with a list of keywords/phrases that I'd like to optimise a specific page for (an additional page to an existing website), I get confused about WHERE to use which keywords. For example, choosing between two keywords like home insurance and specialist home insurance. Let's say home insurance is more searched than the other, and but is more difficult to rank for, and specialist home insurance is less searched but easier to rank for. Firstly, which one should I use as my "main keyword" and secondly, what benefit does the other keyword(s) then have on the rest of the page, and were do I use them? I hope this makes sense. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

To switch high-ranking keyword for one with higher volume?
I have a client who already ranks very well for the keyword "odor removal service" (#3 average rank). I'd like to use this as my primary keyword phrase, but the search volume is not very high (avg. monthly search of 90). A similar keyword phrase like "odor eliminator" has a search vol. of 4400 and the same competitiveness. Even its long-tail derivatives like "natural odor eliminator" still have a much higher volume (360) and would be a more accurate description of the service. In cases like this where you are already ranking well for a relevant keyword (but are still not generating much traffic), is it worth losing that keyword ranking in the hopes of ranking better for a keyword with higher volumes. Just to be clear, I'm not referring to a secondary keyword, but to the main keyword phrase around which we'll be building primary and secondary related keywords. Thanks for any feedback.

After 10th August ranking has changed
Good evening, I hava a questiong regardin the ranking after 10th August. I hava an online tire shop and the ranking has changed that means I was on the first position on search term "anvelope" and now I am on the 3 rd place. I have unique content, few duplicate content and still in front of my site there are sites with huge duplicate content and not so unique. Is it a coincidence that the position has changed on the 10 August or I was affected by Emanuel? How Emanuel update can affect an online tire shop? In other city's I am on the firs place.
