Link Building Semi- Automated Software

Hi,
Our website is new. We need links fast (but not to fast so its bad).
We are looking to do this ourselves to save costs. As a startup we are cash and time poor. We have been looking at

What are everyones thoughts? Is this a good idea? Will it harm us? Any other advice to gain quality natural links quickly.

Software is quite sophisticated these days, there's no such thing as incompatible directories, as long as the submission involves any type of web form.
Rejecting the use of submission software has become an unreasonable reflex with some seo experts
I don't see why someone would not use a tool that helps saving time, as long as you are in full control of what gets sent where.

I would avoid any kind of automation, "semi-" or no.
You have to submit to "good" directories but they make this easier
I don't believe that what few "good" directories remain out there are compatible with mass-submission software. -
As long as you know exactly where your links are going BEFORE they go live then that's fine yes. However, if they are going to take some content and distribute it to loads of directories and websites then this will do more harm than good.

Hi thanks for the response. They promote semi automated. From what I can see, you still have to submit to "good" directories but they make this easier. Does this make it better?

I'd be really careful with automation software like this, you want to have 100% control over where your links go and this won't give you that. You are better finding some quality links yourself, it may take a bit longer but at least you will know where the links are and know that they are relevant. Ask yourself, "does the service really know what a quality link is and what a useful resource is?"

Internal Link Building
For a large part of our SEO we have been focusing on inbound links (mainly from guest posts and blogger reviews). But our rankings have dropped (though I understand there is a natural fluctuation in rankings quite often) this week and it occurred to me that we should be focusing more on internal link building as well. We, of course, link often to our home page and have related products on every page but we lack a lot of direct key word links in in our description. Would it behoove us to be on a specific product page--take for example owls and friends wall decals--and somewhere in the description add something like "our nursery wall decals are safe for....and have "nursery wall decals" be the direct link since that is a key term for us? I just wanted to make sure that we are headed in the right direction before I spend a massive amount of time updating all these product pages. Any input would be really helpful. Guest blogging, guest blogging, guest blogging. Since I started my career as a "brand manager" I've heard the term "guest blogging" at least a million times. So I've put a fair amount of energy into it and for a long time it worked beautifully, still is in many ways. However, in the last month or two nearly every blog I have contacted about guest blogging has said that "due to an increase in guest blogging request we are now charging a fee of x" so on and so forth. Doesn't paying for links put you at great risk for being deindexed? And can't bloggers get in trouble for this as well? Do they not know, not care or think it doesn't apply to them? And if it's a sponsored post, say I send them $100 of free product and pay them $100 to do it, isn't that just hiring someone to talk about my brand? Why would google punish me for that? Anyway around it? Thank you so much! I look forward to your suggestions/advice/criticism.

Site not responding well to Link Building
I worked on around 15 EMDs and all of them have similar template but different content. They are all two KW EMDs. Now I did KW research and changed Title tags and Did around 10- 15 links for them in and they all reacted very well to link building except one site. I did the link building for this site in 3 batches- 7 links in first 10 days, then another 7 in next 10 days and another 7 links after 7 days. Site's ranking decreased with each link building. Then I removed the low quality links recently. Now What do you guys suggest should I again do link building?? (though everytime I did link building site lost rankings as mentioned earlier) or WHAT IS THE NEXT STRATEGY AFTER REMOVING BAD LINKS? START LINKING AGAIN, WAIT FOR SOMETIME ?

Think I'm ready to do some link building. Couple questions.
Getting ready to do some link building. I've got several lists of competitors' links, including a bunch of sites with broken links that would be a great fit to link to us. I've got a capable VA to get started work on reaching out to people. Just curious if this is the right game plan, seems a little simple: For this round of link building I'm thinking all the links would point to my root domain. -Find quality sites/links to go after -Find an email to the owner/webmaster -Have the VA send them a value proposition email(i.e. why it's good fit for all)...or tell them about broken links etc. -Follow up myself when a response is generated. -Hope/verify they link to us. Thanks for the help with the newbie questions.

Link Building Ideas?
Hi everyone, I am currently working on a site where people can buy mail-order bagels, i.e. the bagels are shipped via postal mail. It's a good alternative for places that have no good bagel stores nearby, especially in small, rural towns. I am about to launch a link-building campaign for the website, but am a little stuck as to where to begin. My first thought was guest posting, but it seems like the vast majority of food blog owners are very protective of their blogs and rarely, if ever, allow guest posts. I also thought about doing sponsored reviews (i.e. sending mommy bloggers free samples in exchange for a review), but that's essentially a paid link, i.e. a no-no. There are of course generic web directories, but those only get you so far, and article marketing is out of the question (too spammy). Was hoping I might be able to bounce off some ideas off of you all. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance for whatever tips/ideas you might be able to share 🙂 Lukas

Link Building strategy between domains I own?
I am in the somewhat unique position of owning and administering around 300 websites that each have their own unique domain names. We have a corporate website and then many individual websites for hospitals and nursing centers that we operate. My question is how would you recommend using these sites to build good incoming links between all the sites? Should I take every opportunity to find as many places to link from each site to all the other sites that are owned? Is there anything I should avoid that Google would penalize me for or discount the links all together? Sorry this is a such as long question... but wasn't sure where to start. Thanks!

Learning link building
