How to setup tumblr blog.site.com to give juice to site.com

Is it possible to get a subdomain blog.site.com that is on tumblr to count toward site.com. I hoped I could point it in webmaster tools like we do www but alas no.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looked at wordpress, but I am having trouble getting it to play nicely with MVC.

Tumblr doesn't support anything other than the subdomain of tumblr.com or you can upgrade your account to use your own domain (it's a paid upgrade available in the customize / info section)
Depending on your hosting environment you have a few options. I think you'll find most people support / suggest wordpress. It's free, easy to use, and the community offers a bunch of great plugins.

Is there any way you know how to host a tumblr in a sub-directory or do we need to get a custom written blog app for our site?

You don't have control over the domain, so you're not going to be able to do any domain pointing. You'll inherit the juice from the links you get from that subdomain only, but you're not going to get anything from the main tumblr domain. You're also not going to capitalize on all of the incoming links to your blog if you host it on tumblr, since it's not actually on your site.
You'd be far better off hosting your blog in a subfolder on your own domian. This way you have total control over it and your domain gets all of the link juice when someone links to one of your articles. It will also count as a hit to your website, not tumblr.
I could go on with other reasons, but I don't want to go too far out of the scope of your question.

Best practice for eCommerce site migration, should I 301 redirect or match URLs on new site
Hi Guys, I have been struggling with this one for quite some time. I am no SEO expert like many of you, rather just a small business owner trying to do the right thing, so forgive me if I say something that makes no sense 🙂 I am moving our eCommerce store from one platform to another, in the process the store is getting a massive face lift. The part I am struggling with is whether I should keep my existing URL structure in place or use 301 redirects to create a cleaner looking URLs. Currently the URLs are a little long and I would love to move to a /category/product_name type format. Of course the goal is not to lose ranking in the process, I rank pretty well for several competitive phrases and do not want to create a negative impact. How would you guys handle this? Should I show archives on site?

Googlebot cannot access your site
"At the end of July I received a message in my Google webmaster tools saying "Googlebot can't access your site" We checked our robots.txt file and removed a line break in it, and then I had Google Fetch the file again. I have not received any more messages since then. When we created the website I wrote all of the content and optimized each page for about 1 local keyword. A few weeks after I checked my keywords and did have a few on the first page of google. Since then almost all of them have completely disappeared. Because we had not link building effort I would not expect to still be on the first page, but I should definitely be seeing them before the 5th or even 10th page of Google. The address is http://www.tile-pompanobeach.com I'm not sure if these horrible results have something to do with the message from Google or something else. The problem is this client now wants to sign a contract with us for SEO and I really have no Idea what happened and if I will be able to figure it out. The main keyword for my home page is tile pompano beach and I aslo was using Pompano Beach Tile store for the About page which was previously on the first page of Google. Does anyone have some input?

Weebly Blog
Hello, Previously I asked if I should remove my blog from Weebly if I cannot change the page titles as they are being reported as duplicates. The answer was,yes and I headed to Weebly to remove it. Upon looking closer, every page and post does in fact show a different address. Now Im confused, I dont see duplicates but the campaign lists all the blog pages and states they are duplicates. I'm not sure what to do. Am I misunderstanding duplicate page? Thank you.

Redirecting a old aged site to a new exact match site?
Hi All, I have a question. I have 2 sites with me in the same sector and want some help. site 1 is a old site started back in 2003 and has some amount of links to it and has a pr 3 with some good links to it but doesn't rank much for any keywords for the timing. site 2 is a aged domain but newly developed with unique content and has a good amount of exact match with a .com version. so will there be any benefit by redirecting site 1 to site 2 to get the seo benefits and a start for link bulding? or is it best to develop and work on each site? the sector is health insurance. Moving domain.com to subdomain.domain.com
Hi, I like to do something, but first like to take some opinions from seomoz. My question is: 1. I have a domain: brandtrends.com and i like to move this from brandtrends.com to trends.brand.com because: brandtrends.com is on the position #15 on the second page of SERP for my "brand" keyword. I like to move it under trends.brand.com but all inbound-links are @brandtrends.com What do you thing, if i move permanently 301 from brandtrends.com to trends.brand.com does it rank under brand.com on the 1st page of SERP..? like to rank trends.brand.com under brand.com on results page...!!!
