Improving ranking

I would like to rank for Diani beach, unfortunately very unsuccessful over one year:-(. I have on the main menu Diani beach page. Most of my articles is consisting the keyword, would it be smart to link from all that articles to that Diani beach page?
Any advice on this would be realy great.

I was using some tools also in English(German language is not a problem for me, I have worked several years for a German company based in Cologne. Some best Ice cream is there as well!)
But they all seem to give different results. I am pretty sure that I have some nasty stuffing most likely on the site. I will try the tool you gave me, I was on look up for a good density tool.

s a german website but you dont need to know the language.
Just take a look at this keyword density tool (it`s browser based):

Paste your text in there and press "Prüfung starten"... what you get is an very good hint about which keywords you`ve focused on (with intent or unintended) - you should reach the green colored percentage. 4% usage of your keyword(s) is a good amount but this is also controversial
Maybe there is a similar tool in english but I don`t know that... wish you all the best!

I can
t see any significant advantages if you would do that. Its not wrong to set up a few links to that site from your articles but not that much.You have to imagine that your site has a certain amount of linkjuice. Everytime you set a link to a different site without the nofollow attribut you pass a little bit of your link juice. So if you do excessive linking from your site to others this makes no sense. Don
t get me wrong - you should not use "nofollow" with all your links... its a question of: to which site and how much of your linkjuice you should/want to pass through...Furthermore I took a closer look on your text at your main page and as far as I can see you don`t mention the term "Diani beach" there.
This is not the only and especially not a reliable criteria to rank for your keyword but it would be helpful to use your keyword in your text exactly as you name it. Your term is "Diani beach" not "Diani" or "Beach" ...

s great! Yout texts are good and nice to read... youve done a good job there. Your text (on the main page) is unique... continue things like that.What I would recommend you is to build more links. According to the opensitexplorer you don´t have much external links. Try to promote your site with the aim to get linked by sites with similar content.
The whole thing is a very, very big topic. It`s controversial and there are many, many opinions out there on what might be important to do that your rankings will improve.
There is not enough time to mention all the aspects but maybe other mozzers will add some helpful infos for you as well?! I hope I could make a useful contribution?!

Having some problems with understanding how to properly use anchor text for my keywords' better rankings. Please help!
Hello, Last week I did some work on my website's inner pages linking and some of my highly ranking keywords fell down as a result. I guess I did something wrong, please help me figure out what exactly was wrong! Here is the example of what I did. I put a link to the page that ranks for 'Thermador repair Brentwood' here: http://www.ifixappliancesla.com/blog/2016/09/12/appliance-repair-brentwood/ I put exactly same anchor text, 'Thermador repair Brentwood'. For my blog posts, I use Yoast plugin, so when adding the link, I received the message "You are linking to another page with the focus word you want this page rank for. Consider changing that if you truly want this page to rank." While this one's ranking, 'Thermador repair Brentwood', didn't fall down, others did. Could you please confirm if my understanding is right and I'd better not use the same keywords on two or more pages? If yes, what is the best practice for linking to the pages that are not in the main menu? Let's say, I decided to do blog posts for the areas my appliance repair company serves and to optimize those pages for respective keywords. So, I have pages like "Appliance Repair Service in Brentwood" (which is optimized for "appliance repair brentwood" keyword), "Appliance Repair Service in Beverly Hills" ("appliance repair beverly hills" keyword), etc. I thought that the best way to link to them is to put the same anchor texts: "appliance repair beverly hills", etc. But it looks like the best way would be to use the anchor texts like "Beverly Hills", "appliance servicemen in Beverly Hills". Here There We have been contacting, a view online travel blogs lately if they are happy todo a sponsored blog post for us. Including a least one "dofollow" link within the post to our website. Rankings Drop Penguin 2.0
Hey guys, Suffering a horrible rankings drop after penguin 2.0. We have 4 popular sites and have seen a steady decline in rankings and traffic after 22nd May. I've looked into it a little bit and am wondering if WordPress blog sidebar links might be hurting us. Specifically my brother and I both have sidebar links on our personal blogs which are getting indexed on every page, and I'm wondering if it's distorting our link profiles. Specifically, I read something about links coming from sites which aren't relevant to your niche and overly optimised anchor text. Both sites have very simple single keyword anchor texts on the links. We're pretty white hat in terms of SEO, we've never done that much link building, and when we do, it's usually with worthwhile directories or with sites we have relationships with. Therefore we don't have that many links. Any ideas on how best to investigate this? Thanks.

Why is my homepage ranking BELOW a subpage?
Search "peer to peer lending". The page http://www.ratesetter.com/peer_to_peer_lending.htm appears higher than the homepage. I don't think this is because of keyword density on page either as Zopa (competitor) have zero mentions of this keyword on their homepage. What are your suggestions for getting the homepage ranked higher? Thanks, Simon.

Do inbound links to download .exe files improve SEO?
The site, (http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/) sells barcode software. They also provide free printer drivers on their site. During a recent domain change (before I started helping them), they began looking at their inbound links and found quite a few external sites linking to these download files. However, when someone clicks on the link on one of these sites (i.e. http://vvs-motor.com.ua/barcode-printer-drivers) it immediately begins downloading the file (i.e. http://www.seagullscientific.com/downloads/drivers/archive/7.2/7.2.4/Unimark_7.2.4.exe) without taking the visitor to the site. The owner would greatly prefer this traffic to engage with the site and is considering 301 redirecting those download links to an actual webpage. Question: Would this look suspicious to Google? Would this have a positive or negative effect on SEO? The last factor to consider is that many of these sites will likely just recreate the list based on the new links at some future point. Link velocity - still a significant ranking factor?
We have recently taken over the SEO for a site which had a pretty poor back link profile, lots of comment links, directories etc. Although the quality of the link was very questionable, the previous SEO were maintaining a decent link velocity. Obviously I have no intention of carrying on with spammy crap links, and am looking to build some good fresh content. This will obviously slow down the link velocity quite considerably, is that in itself likely to hurt SERPs? Thanks in advance

Low page rank directories but high domain authority?
I just paid someone to submit me to a few directories and I saw were I was listed on one of them today. The url page authority of where I was listed was a "1" with zero moz trust and zero moz authority. The root domain authority is a "69". Is page authority or domain authority the most important for links? I believe all the directories I was submitted to have url page authority of "1". ( I watched a video yesterday and I think the head guy said that page authority was most important but I am not sure.
