I think it's extremely important to be aware of any change in ranking ASAP is there any way to have SEOMOZ Pro update more often than once a week?

There's no way that I know of to adjust the frequency of their crawl. I'd put in a call to support about this. You'll get a much quicker response from SEOMoz staff there than you will here.

How long does Moz takes to update DA and PA value?

I used to work daily on my office website https://quintdaily.com/ and follow link building strategy. however, since more than 40-50 days, there is no movement in my DA, as the PA has just lifted up. However, there is no changes in Domain Authority so far. Besides, other than this website, im working on location wise SEO projects, but, i can find those websites Domain Authority changed in less 20 days. Is there is time period in changing the Domain Authority once it touched DA 30+?

Keyword Research and Planning Flow

Hello, First post here. I am a IT infrastructure engineer that does application and deployment work mostly, but new to SEO. That being said, I am a firm believer in demming wheel and defined process/flow charts. I have a website up, built as best practice, its a Magento CE open source Ecommerce store. After some initial research, it seems I really need to define my keywords before I start branding my landing pages and such. So i am going to have to go back and implement the keywords and evaluate. But as I am reading it seems most SEO people try their keywords in google ad words first? Then implement? I am hoping to find some flow or process sheets on how successful Keyword research is done via step by step process and evaluation. And explanations of each. How many keywords to start with per landing page, how many to try and get in the H1 headers, paragraphs, URL. How long to leave keywords in to test? Also, I am a start up company that is competing with the big boys in my market space. I know I cant compete for the big keywords in my market? What is my best strategy for getting any kind of ranking as a small business in a global market? SEO is a mysterious, intriguing thing to me! Seasonal keyword tracking locally?

I'm managing a project for a local fence contractor in Wisconsin. During Fall, his site was getting a fair amount of traffic. (We only track traffic from the State of Wisconsin and exclude office IPs.) For November, traffic tanked and keywords fell. Is there a way to check the search volume by month to see if the recent extreme cold and early snow are the culprit, (people not searching for fences), or should I be looking elsewhere for a problem? I know I have to get more pages optimized for ideal keywords but time is extremely tight on this project. (But, that's another problem and story all of itself!) Thanks!

SEO process suggestions / keyword analysis

hi all, we've done a bit of SEO over the years for our site, and are looking to pick things up this year and spend more time on SEO. first off, we are working on revising our keyword list & would like to view what keywords specific competitors are ranking for and try to target those keywords as well. is this possible via SEOmoz (similar to spyfu)? please let me know if you feel this is a good first step in picking up our SEO efforts for the new year. i've been looking at the research tools & is seems the Keyword Difficulty Tool hasn't been fully functional for the past week or so ("Our Keyword Difficulty Tool is having issues displaying AdWords API data. We are working with the AdWords API folks to get a fix soon!"). also, i noticed i can enter competitor sites in open site explorer & compare link metrics, but i don't see anywhere to compare keyword metrics. is there something i'm missing? thanks again everyone!

Keyword Difficulty Report vs Rankings Report

Hi, Question: Is there a difference between the Keyword Difficulty Report and the Rankings Report? I am tracking a long tail phrase in the Rankings Report for a Campaign. The Google results are that it's not in the top 50. Yet, in the Keyword Difficulty report, there it is in the 5th spot. I'm not sure I know which to believe. Thanks!

What kind of keyword difficulty should I be aiming for when launching an new site?

I know that words in their 20's or 30's would be ideal, but it's proving hard for me to find relevant keywords with such scores (just a couple with scores in the 30's). Is going for words between 40-50 a waste of time? Thanks.

Campaign Manager - Keyword Grouping

Hey, I was just thinking that it would be useful to be able to group keywords by page or some other factor in the campaign monitor keyword rank checking tool (I am sure it's called something better than that). Maybe it's just me, but I am struggling a little with this for relatively smaller sites so if I could tag each keyword and filter / group them by the tag it would be another useful tool for my seo utility belt. Fairly painless to implement as well I would imagine. 1. Create tags 2. assign tags to keywords with a drop down (optional) Would be a useful tool when exporting data to group by tag etc. Just a thought. 🙂 Marcus
