There are sites that Google visits way more often than that. For example, you'll see Q&A questions on Moz indexed within minutes.

Why Google Visits us So regularly I mean some day thrice a day ?

Website being crawled but not indexed any thoughts?

Hi Everyone,
I created a new website a few weeks ago www.drivingseaford.co.uk , did a little link citation, links from Google+, submitted to webmaster tools etc but its still not getting indexed. Webmaster tools crawl stats page is showing pages being crawled, no errors. But 0 indexed. http://www.drivingseaford.co.uk/robots.txt is showing User-agent: * Disallow: /wp-admin/ Disallow: /wp-includes/ Im a bit stumped as never had this before!!! Any ideas from you lovely people?? Antony

How do you get a Google+ pic in your SERP snippet

Hi from from 20 degrees C 83% humidity wetherby UK 🙂 A few weeks back i decided i needed to get my pretty face appearing in my serps for www.davidclick.com But after having set up a Gppgle+ account and linking my site to the Google+ account i think I may have done something wrong 😞 I linked to the Google+ page via a footer link in www.davidclick.com but alas I'm not able to get my face in my SERP which this website has: http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc53/zymurgy_bucket/google-plus-picJPGcopy.jpg So my question is please - "How do you get your Google+ account image to appear in the SERPS. Transfer of website to maintain SEO

I am nearly finished building a new wordpress website to replace the old static HTML site which is currently doing very well in SERPs. My old site is currently hosted by a company who owns the site, my domain is registered with a different company and I have the nameservers pointed at Cloudflare. I have built my new site and have it hosted with a different company and I wish to keep the domain name registered with the company it is currently with.Is there an order that I should follow to move from the old site to the new site using my current domain name so that I minimize any impact on SEO. I built the new site with the same URL structure to maintain linking benefit. thanks

Moving to Dynamic IP

Hi all, We are going to use CDN with geographically distributed IPs. However the website has strong positions in local search in UK and in regular search for geo kwds. Is it possible that with moving to from UK static IP to dynamic IPs can affect positions in Google? Thanks, Jane

403 forbidden error website

Moved to a New Server IP Address

Hi, I just upgraded everything, a much faster server. I have significantly improved page load times. I have 2 questions 1. I also upgraded my blog which is a component of the site. I could NOT redirect post-for-post so made single 301 redirect from all pages from the old blog to the root of new blog. I did not care about the old blog, the posts are irrelevant now. Will the massive redirects be a problem? 2. I had some DNS issues and other problems that took me about 24 hours to fix during the transition. The site is up an fully operational. Will I be penalized? If so, how long Thank you,

Does IP Changes Affect SEO Metrics?

Okay, So yesterday I asked a question about setting up custom error pages in IIS 6.0 to properly do a 24 hour 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. With no answer, (not to the despair of the community as the question has NO simple or easy answer 🙂 So after a night of dreaming about solutions 🙂 I realized that we have the ability to just clone the site.... So basically it would just become a redundant server or mirror site for 24 hours. With all that being said the question is..... What SEO pitfalls might I encounter from this if any I suspect none as load balancing and redundancy is a fact of life in the WEB world, especially since it will be a MAX of 24 hours downtime for maint.
