Why show different Linking Root Domain open site explorer and SERP of any websites? Open Site explorer show different linking root domain and Basic SERP Report show different linking root domain of any website url, who is the correct and why it is show different linking root domain?

Are the metrics in Moz's SERP analysis relevant in my area?

Our site (https://loco2.com/) specialises in train journey planning at ticket booking, so we want to improve our ranking when people search Google for a specific journey they want to make (eg "London to Barcelona by train"). We have a set of about 400 Guide pages (eg London to Barcelona) which we want people to find when they search for those journeys. I've been trying to find out why some of those pages do better than others in search, and what our competitors are doing better. I was hoping that the SERP analysis and Keyword Reports tool could help me with this, so I ran analyses for a set of the keyword phrases we want to rank for, but I was surprised to find that most of the metrics in both the basic and full reports don't seem to relate to how high in the search result a page ranks. The screengrab attached shows the results for "Brussels to Paris train", which are fairly typical - many of the top-ranking pages have fairly low scores for most metrics, and the metrics don't seem to have much effect on how high they are in the search results. ( I assume N/A means the Page Authority is very low, or is it not calculated for some other reason?) I looked into this a bit further by downloading full reports for 11 keyword searches, and comparing the average scores for each metric with the rank, but I still couldn't see any effects of the metrics on the ranks. If anything, pages with higher Page Authority and Domain Authority were further down in search rankings. Does this mean that link metrics aren't very important for the kinds of pages we're looking at? This makes sense to me, because if I'm searching for tickets from London to Barcelona I want to find a very specific results page which is unlikely to have many links, but I keep reading that link metrics are one of the most important factors in SEO. Now our site is ready what's next

Site is all inxed in google, with analytics and webmaster tool. No error in all our 5000 products pages So where do i start my organic seo? What should I read first? Its an online store for retailler only but we still want people to learn about the product or find a store.
We have made 300 original video on youtube with a full description these video are also associated in our site in each respective product. I know our competitor. So now everything is clean and ready. How do I start seo, we have no external link at all. Wich would be the first best step to do. Regards, Bruce

Does Open Site Explorer purposefully not crawl some sites?

I use both SEOmoz's Open Site Explorer and Web Master Tools to find backlinks when conducting link audits. WMT always finds more links than OSE; I understand Google's database is bigger. But what is interesting to me is that it seems that a large percentage of the links WMT finds that OSE does not are real crappy links that I don't want. That makes me wonder if SEOmoz decides not to crawl certain, low quality, sites? Just curious.

Open Site Explorer Link Metrics

I'm new to SEOMOZ. I have a Pro account and have been messing with the tools available. I ran a report in Open Site Explorer on one of my prospects. I also entered in several of their competitors to see how they rank. I would like to show the report to my prospective client but couldn't figure out how to download the information. Is that info available for download? Does anyone have a recommendation for showing prospects how they rank against their competitors. Any help appreciated.

What is the time range of social media metrics of Open Site Explorer?

Hi, I have a client with a huge efforts on social media and I want to know which is the time range of the social media data collected with OSE. Or is using some sort of APIs, so is showing totals? OSE shows this: Times Shared on Facebook: 932 Facebook Likes: 1,898 Times Shared on Twitter: 191 Times Shared on Google +1: 52 Total Social Shares: 1,175 Thanks 🙂

[No Data] Open Site Explorer Top Pages WordPress fix?

Some of my Open Site Explorer Top Pages http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/drho.ro/a!toppages have [No Data]. How do I fix this? I use WordPress and these are .pdf files I uploaded to my server and 301 redirects I created using the Pretty Link Pro plugin
