Google analytics : exclude traffic to a subdomain

Hi,

I have a website with a client access on a subdomain. I want to exclude the traffic to that subdomain because it messes up my conversion goal for the main site. Per example, 2 out of 10 visitors are existing clients that want to access to my SaaS product. The 8 other are potential clients. I want to exclude the 2 clients from my stats so I could have the good conversion percentage for my free trial for the other 8 potential clients.

This can easily be done in a few ways. one of course your tracking code and alternatively via s host name filter which is even easier I think this link could help you out http://www.wearefine.com/mingle/filtering-subdomains-in-google-analytics/

Potential Security Issues Installing Google Analytics GTM

Greetings MOZ Community!! My SEO firm plans has requested that Google Analytics GTM be installed on my website to better track goals and events. My developer will be responsible for installing the GTM script on my website and the SEO firm will actually configure GTM to track goals. Is anyone aware of GTM causing server errors/issues when installed? My developer claims that running GTM would create additional vulnerability to hacking. Is anyone aware of potential security risks from running Google Tag Manager? Once Google Tag Manager is installed, will it make the site more difficult for my developer to administer? Will there be increased risk of the code breaking? Overall, is GTM a big improvement over the existing version of Google Analytics? Is it worth the effort to install? My SEO firm is very much in favor of this upgrade. I would like to move forward provided there is no major downside. I look forward to feedback. Thanks, Alan

Google analytics - landing pages

Hello, I have a website and it contains landing pages. after tracking and analyzing the data in Google Analytics , I found out that the traffic for the whole site is affected by the visits to the landing page. I mean, the bounce rate is less than one minute. this is because users fill their details in the landing pages and leave my website. to improve my website, I need clear data about the traffic, bounce rate etc. in my website. I also need can you help me solve this problem I thought about create another account in Google Analytics and set it to my websites pages (not including the landing pages). and keep the current code for the landing pages. my question is regarding this: Is it legal to use 2 different GA code (each one of them belong to different account) in the same domain ? can you provide me with more information about Multi Account in Google Analytics, and how can I use it to divide the traffic in my website between the traffic and the data for the landing pages and for the website itself ?

Google Analytics Queries

Hi we used a web company who put our analytics under their company name we have left them and set up a new tracking code not associated with them, but we still have access to the data and it is all contained under the same login, is it possible to merge the two tracking codes? so that we have seemless history. Also does anyone know if you can change the primary e-mail address (gmail account) to a corporate email account? Any help would be appreciated as we have researched both and from what we have found we can't merge the data and also we are stuck with the primary email address.
