Increase in authorization permission errors (Access Denied - Error 403)
-
Hi MOZ community,
Since last week when I changed my theme in a WP installation I noticed (in WMT and MOZ tool) that I have increased number in authorization permission errors (error 403-forbidden).
What happens is that I received a 403 error for almost every single URL of my site. All these URLs are not "real" ones but they all have my email in the end.
i.e. I get an 403 error for the "/contact/support@fantasylogic.com" whilst the real URL is just "/contact/"
This happens, as I said, for almost every single page of my site. I have no other crawling or indexation issues, all URLs are correctly indexed. All new pages are correctly indexed as well. URIs ending with "support@fantasylogic.com" are not indexed off course.
WP and all installed plugins & theme are on the latest available release. For SEO purposes I use Yoast SEO WP plugin. The site in questions is: fantasylogic.com
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Thank you!
It makes sense. On the top left corner of the bar email is not a link. So I suppose this is not where the fault is located. BUT, I had forgotten the mailto: prefix in the email link in the footer. I changed it there. Let's hope that was the case
Thank you for the feedback

It is because your email link in your top bar is not formed correctly. You just have your email address, you need to add mailto: in front of it.

No. Neither AWS nor S3. The main issue is that the URLs that are sending 403 error are not "real". I mean that they are the same URLs as the existing/real ones but they have my email (fantasylogic.com/xxxxxxxxxx/support@fantasylogic.com/) in the end. The "normal" URL (fantasylogic.com/xxxxxxxxxx/) is indexed correctly and at the same time I receive a 403 error for "fantasylogic.com/xxxxxxxxxx/support@fantasylogic.com/". How and why these URIs are created? And why are they reachable to crawlers?

Are you hosted on AWS or using resources from a S3 bucket? By default those resources do not send a 404 for not found resources, they send a 403 for some reason.

Why does moz give different page authority to the same page if a visit comes from adwords vs organic search?
When clicking on an adwords ad the page the landing page has a page authority of 26. When clicking on organic search to the same exact landing page the page authority is 37. Why is this. Does moz or, more importantly Google see these as the same or separate pages? Thanks Tom

How best can I change my domain name and keep my domain authority and page authority.
I've recently changed domain names and my old domain was a DA42 and now I am at a DA22. Everything has 301 redirects. Any advice would be appreciated.

Why my Domain Authority (DA) is Decreased from 21 to 19?
Hello, I would like to know how the changes in domain authority is counted by MOZ? Domain Authority for my this domain http://www.grandcrayon.ca/ was 21 and it is decreased to 19 in last week. I have checked the moz report and it shows DA as 19. We already have grandcrayon.ca and we recently redirected our .com domain (http://www.grandcrayon.com also to .ca so all the back links of .com are now showing in webmaster for .ca. So i would like to know the reason behind decrement in DA and is there any connection with redirection of .com domain? How can i increase DA for my website?

Rogerbot crawls my site and causes error as it uses urls that don't exist
Whenever the rogerbot comes back to my site for a crawl it seems to want to crawl urls that dont exist and thus causes errors to be reported... Example:- The correct url is as follows: /vw-baywindow/cab_door_slide_door_tailgate_engine_lid_parts/cab_door_seals/genuine_vw_brazil_cab_door_rubber_68-79_10330/ But it seems to want to crawl the following: /vw-baywindow/cab_door_slide_door_tailgate_engine_lid_parts/cab_door_seals/genuine_vw_brazil_cab_door_rubber_68-79_10330/?id=10330 This format doesn't exist anywhere and never has so I have no idea where its getting this url format from The user agent details I get are as follows: IP ADDRESS: 107.22.107.114

Campaign report errors
one of the heavily noted errors for the first crawl of our domain was duplicate titles. I did not see a list of the pages and their current titles, but i am pretty sure it is somewhere to be found. That would help focus the work to do. Am I wrong about that?

Has SEOMoz Domain Authority calc been updated recently
As ever, my apologies if this question's been asked before -- I searched for it, and didn't find it. But, our SEOMoz 'Domain Authority' has recently really jumped (from 67, where it was for many months, to 77). And, our number of Linking Root Domains increased as well, from 1,986 to 3,349) Of course, none of this has translated into Google goodness, but if any of it's true, maybe it WILL in the future? Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks, Dave (www.TeachStreet.com)

Is there such thing as a site free from errors?
Or is this a given? I am new to SEO and SEOmoz. One of my campaigns is completley free of errors...the others are a work in progress. Now I realize that SEO is never done, but can a site actually be free of errors? If so... I just gave myself a pat on the back.
