Domain Authority Score Changes
-
Hi All,
I hope you guys are doing great.
I need assistance with benchmarking drop that measures domain authority score changes, maybe within 3 months to a year. Is there any reliable tool that we can use for us to see the changes in DA over the past months or years?
Thanks,
Francis

Hi Shakur,
Yeah, that's correct.
Thanks about this helpful reply of yours.
Have a great day.

Hi there,
Moz doesn't provide historical info of metrics like DA or PA.
Many SEO's use Searchmetrics visibility tool. But this tool only provides a rough estimate of a domains visibility in search results over time, it's proved valuable in detecting penalties and changes in search volumne for sites over time, although it works best with large sites.
Majestic SEO also provides historical link history. Access is limited with a free account, but paid accounts are generally reasonable.
Hope it helps you.

I also asked the same at here http://moz.com/community/q/why-my-website-da-pa-is-not-increasing

Will Removing or Disavowing Toxic Links Improve MOZ Domain Authority?
The vast majority of the 140 domains that link to our website are very low quality directories or and other toxic links. Only about 20-30 domains are not toxic (according to Link Research Tools confirmed by out manual inspection of these links). Would removing some of these links improve of MOZ Domain Rank? What if we cannot remove them, can NOZ detect a disavow file? In general would improving the ratio between good quality and poor quality links improve domain authority? Thanks,

Spam Score Help Needed!
Hi guys, Basically, long story short our site currently has a spam score of 5%, which is heading into dangerous territory. We have been looking into why this might be and the more we've looked into it the more stumped we've become. We compared our inbound links to our competitors, who's spam score currently stands at just 1%, and found that we actually had a smaller proportion of spammy inbound links compared to theirs - and yet our score is 5x higher. We have looked into disavowal, but this seems like a high-risk venture and something of a last resort so we'd rather see if there's anything else we can do about this before we press the button. Are there any other factors we need to look in to aside from inbound links and domains? Could it be something to do with our site architecture? For example we have a very high number of internal links (102,011, 94.1% are followed) compared to our competitors. This could qualify us as a 'large' site, and when paired with the fact that we only have 640 inbound links could be a big red flag to Google? Any help you'd be willing to provide us on this would be much appreciated!

Anyone Know How Accurate The Spam Analysis Score Is?
Hello, I have a website whose spam analysis is showing a score is a 6 but when I look at the my links, I only have one link that is showing up as a 5. I look at all the subdomains and root domain and I am just curious if I should be worried or that this is quite common. Thoughts? Thanks,

Is a higher or lower score better in keyword ranking
I know this is a weird question, I think I have confused myself with different keyword tools. So if you get a score of 10 for your keyword, should you aim to be closer to 1 or 50?

Keyword Difficulty Score Meter: how to interpret levels
I'm hoping to find what percentages change the levels for the difficulty score meter in the keyword difficulty tool. For example, when does a blue -- non-competitive -- move into the green level, and so forth. Also, I can't find the description (names?) of all the levels (highly competitive, non-competitive, etc). Thanks for your help.

Change an "Answered" question to "unanswered?"
Some times Moz marks my questions as 'answered" when they are not. I know that if I mark something as a "good answer" or select "answered" (obviously) it will change, but occasionally (like the last question I asked) it gets changed and I'm not sure how to change it back to "unanswered." Anyone know if that's possible? Thanks, Ruben

Why do my top linking domains according to Webmaster tools, not even appear in my OSE report?
I know the Google index is obviously a lot larger than the MOZ index...but.... I have 8,000 links from blogspot.com according to Webmaster tools, and just one link according to OSE I have 600 links from an online dictionary according to Webmaster tools, not one is mentioned in my OSE report. I'd go so far as to say most of my top 10 linking domains according to Webmaster Tools, don't even have a single mention in my OSE report. We've been hit hard by Penguin 2.0 and I want to look at our link profile.....it seems OSE may be great for looking at my competitors link profiles, but for my own site it seems to be, well, not very accurate at all! So from a trying to do undo the damage caused by Penguin 2.0 point of view, should I just use webmaster tools and forget about OSE? Thanks!
