How to find missing or incorrect title tags with a site hosting lots of pages.

i have a website that features more than 9,000 pages. i'm trying to figure out which ones have missing or incorrect title tags. Should I start with screaming frog??

Hi,
I can't recommend the ScreamingFrog enough!
The free version has a limit of 500 pages, so you will need a license.With such a large site it it recommended to check on the crawl progress to ensure there are no crawl 'loops'
If for example it turns out that a calendar on a page counts as a link for every day then the crawl will likely never finish!
Luckily you can fix such things by creating a URL Exclude rule and the re running the spider.Kind Regards

404 : Errors in crawl report - all pages are listed with index.html on a WordPress site
Hi Mozers, I have recently submitted a website using moz, which has pulled up a second version of every page on the WordPress site as a 404 error with index.html at the end of the URL. e.g Live page URL - http://www.autostemtechnology.com/applications/civil-blasting/ Report page URL - http://www.autostemtechnology.com/applications/civil-blasting/index.html The permalink structure is set as /%postname%/ For some reason the report has listed every page with index.html at the end of the page URL. I have tried a number of redirects in the .htaccess file but doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions will be strongly appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I am finding that I miss several of the old seomoz sections. The legacy tools in particular like the visual website comparison. Where is that now? Can open site explorer miss incoming links?
In open site explorer I only see one linking domain, eventhough I know of at least 1 other. Why is that?

How do OpensiteExplorer handle HTTPS pages?
For historical reason my entire site (https://www.banknorwegian.no ) is in )HTTPS. I am trying to use opensiteexplorer to get a linkprofile. But then I only get the links that point to www.banknorwegian.no (without https://) . Is it possible to use it for https pages? Also, I assume some of the same problem arise when I use the keyword difficulty tool. The pages I have show up in the result, but they have a Page Authority that has to be made from just links to the http version.

Truncate page URLs
We have some pages (for example a contact us form) for which the URL is modified by the CMS depending on the referring page (this helps to put the form submission in context for the sales reps who get the contact submission). The SEOmoz crawler considers each URL a new page -- and so numbers like in diagnostics are all inflated as the same page is listed multiple times (e.g. for too many links) Is there a setting to change what the crawler considers to be the same page? Open Site Explorer missing links
Hi, When the update of Open Site Explorer was released I noticed that the new version was missing a huge amount of links that the old version previously found. This still seems to be the case and it's pretty frustrating as we use the tool for our clients. Is this something that everybody is seeing and if so SEOMoz when do you think you'll have a solution?
