Extract price from API to a Rich Snippet
-
Hi all!
I'm trying to create a rich snippet that shows the bitcoin's price in the SERP title.
I've already seen this in the search result of "bitstamp". I've added a screenshot so as you can see what I'm saying.Also i'd like you to recommend me some rich snippet preview that supports extract data from an API.
This is my first Q&A, hope you can understand me

God damn, I didnt realize that it isnt a part of a rich snippet.
My eyes were blind.
Thanks a lot! -
This is not rich snippet. This is title manipulation.
If you look their HTML code their title is as:
<title>Bitstamp - buy and sell bitcoins</title>But if you load page you will see:
($price)Bitstamp...In javascript they have codes as:
var page_title = 'Bitstamp - buy and sell bitcoins';
$('head title').html('($'+loc_num($('span.live_price').attr('price'))+') '+page_title);
this code is responsible for updating price in title. Seems that Google index this and store modified title in their index.Here is official documentation of Rich Snippets:
https://developers.google.com/structured-data/rich-snippets/
and there isn't anything closer to you. Probably you can use only reviews.

Is being in position 1-3 without a featured snippet better for conversions?
I'm a cosmetic dental practice so we're local and want people to visit our website, look around and make a booking. I've followed very closely the featured snippet debate on WBF and in the blogs here and everywhere else on the web. I've got many 1-3 positions and have been optimising for featured snippets with great success. I have noticed though that once I get a featured snippet the CTR of the page that the snippet is taken from drops significantly. This can often put me from position one into two or three. The same thing happens sometimes on the local listings. You get in the pack and people start visiting your homepage rather than the particular services page in the SERP. At a conference I was at, here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iXlVcbpvd0 (11:14) there is a suggestion that Vodafone de-optimise because a position one or two is better for their sales than a featured snippet. After all my interests are not the same as google. They want to answer questions and I want to sell cosmetic dentistry. So is answering a question without bringing a user to my site a good idea? I've certainly seen the amount of enquiries drop once the category has a number of featured snippets. Are they as good as everyone says they are? I think possibly not from my data and this Vodafone talk is the first time i've heard anyone agree. I've scoured the web for answers and it's all just "GET FEATURED SNIPPETS", "HERES HOW TO GET THEM" etc. But my business is not about getting more traffic it's about selling. Could someone please point me to research on conversion rate and featured snippets. or ROI and featured snippets? Thanks.

Rich Snippets not showing up in Google
Hello everyone, Can anyone figure out why my Rich Snippets aren't showing up in Google searches: Their webmaster tool displays it perfectly, but I never see it in search results: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cleanedison.com%2Fcourses%2Fbpi-building-analyst-envelope-shell-combo%2F Perhaps it's only my IP? Rich Snippets on service pages and how to aggregate?
Question about rich snippets.. I want to showcase reviews of the SERVICE's offered but I am not sure if I should include them on the service page, a review page or both. For example, we offer snow plowing and lawn care services and each service has its own page. I have reviews for both services under the my "testimonials" page. So, a couple questions. 1 - Should I pace a single review marked up on each service page? 2 - Does the review need to be a google review or can I use reviews from other sites? If not, do I need to notate that somehow using the schema vocabulary? Example, I have a 5 star review from thumbtrackDOTcom, is it ok to mark up the review and include a nofollow link? (No follow because thumbtrack is actually a competitor.) 3 - When I looked into creating an aggregate rich snippet I got confused / concerned. Is it ok to list multiple services as a product? Example: <div< span="">itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Product"> <span< span="">itemprop="name">Lawn Care and Snow Removal</span<> <div< span="">itemprop="aggregateRating" itemscopeitemtype="http://schema.org/AggregateRating">

Rated <span< span=""> itemprop="ratingValue">4.5</span<>/5
based on <span< span=""> itemprop="reviewCount">4</span<> customer reviews</div></div<></div<> 4 - When I tested the code above, no stars showed up in the preview. Do I need to mark up products as well? Am I doing it completely wrong 🙂 Thanks for any advice!!0 -
Pricing - Include Shipping and Handling?
A few questions: From a conversion standpoint, is it better to include S&H costs into the listed price or not? Example: I have a product with an MSRP of $9.99, but we sell directly from our site at "$11.99 with free shipping". Would it be better to list it at "$9.99 + $2.00 S&H"? Or maybe not even include the S&H cost? Any insight is much appreciated. Should price be directly on the homepage? A user must go to our products page to find the price, but I'm thinking maybe it's best to be explicit on the homepage. However, as I am not well versed in all facets of CRO, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for any help.

Will adding to a video's length affect my Rich Snippets?
Most people get to the end of my videos, 85% or so, but there's no call to action at the end of them. So I'd like to suggest what they could do or read next; along the lines of 'Add to basket and receive your XYZ tomorrow'. This will make the video longer and therefore google will know it has changed, I guess. I see no reason for them to object to this but you never you.

The Effects of "Call for Pricing" Pricing Structures
I have a wholesaler who sells great products but they have an internet pricing policy that states we cannot show prices online and that we must have a "call for pricing" or "request a quote/price" button instead because retailers are losing sales due to lower prices online from other retailers. I know, I know.. They are out of their mind. I have already told them that they should have online MAP pricing requirements to protect their retailers but they refuse to even set an MSRP! I've been looking for some articles to show the statistics of customers lost from not having a price on your site. Does anyone have any information or suggested links on this topic? and the final question is if I was to remove the prices from my website, would that in turn affect my rankings?

Is it possible to extract the exact USER search terms used on adwords campaigns?
Suppose I have a adwords campaign, with an adgroup targetting the broad match term "cell phones". Is it possible to get metrics on the exact keywords users have used to create ad impressions, clicks or conversions for that campaign? Many thanks
