My domain is almost 3 years old with a lot of backlinks, but my PA=1 DA=1

Hi there! I have .photography domain. The domain is 3 years old. We know we have a lot of backlinks. However, the DA and PA are still 1. Also the number of linking root domains shows as zero. Can someone help me with it?

You should always try and keep track of your backlinks yourself, not rely on a third party tool to tell you who is linking to you. No tool will give you 100% of the linking information, even when it's a regular, popular TLD.

PA and DA are a third party metric. Meaning that it has no impact whatsoever on Google rankings.

So basically, there is nothing wrong with my website itself, right? Google still can index it. The only problem is I can't analyze it? Or PA&DA=1 will effect my google ranking?

Generally, pages with a PA of 1, or domains with a DA of 1 haven't been indexed by us for a variety of reasons (generally, the amount and/or quality of links pointing to them).
Unfortunately, in this case it's a different issue. We don't currently support custom Top Level Domains (TLD) such as .photography - this would explain why there's no data for this site in our Index.
Sadly I don't know of a good workaround for this - it's a technical limitation of the tool. I know we plan to expand the list of TLDs we support, but I'm not sure what kind of timeframe we can expect before new TLDs will be supported. Unsolved Huge Increase In Internal Links + Domain Authority Tanked
Hey, I am very concerned about the link metrics I am seeing, really hoping someone can help. In October last year there were a total of 34.7K 'total links' attributed to my E-commerce website . This compared to 41.2k and 213k links attributed to my two main competitors. In November, my website had a forced update due to incompatibility issues my shopping cart version was having with the server on which it is hosted. (I was told by my web developers / hosting company that their server was upgraded.) This update created many problems such as checkout issues, page layout issues, sitemaps not automatically regenerating and the big one - it reverted back to http instead of https. Along with my developers, I spent 2 weeks fixing all of the issues until everything worked correctly and https was reinstated. After initial warnings from Moz, I have not received any critical crawler issues or warnings, big ranking drops etc since November. I was satisfied that all was ok. However, in November my 'total links' jumped to 81.5k and have since continued to balloon. December - 309.1k, January -335k, February - 665k, March - 716k, April - 719k, May - 742k, June - 751k. In the same period (November - June), my external links went from 5.3k - 8.7k. So it appears the huge increase in links are internal. In my latest report it states that 'internal follow links' are up by 8k and 'internal no follow links' are up by 1k. This is insane. I cannot understand why I have so many internal links and why they keep increasing. I maintain the website with updates, blog articles etc but no more than I have in the past several years. Worryingly, once this increase in links started being reported, my Domain Authority has also tanked. In October my DA was 37 (higher than my competitors) and has since dropped as low as 19. It has gone up to 21 this month (still significantly lower than my competitors). I have spent hours researching why this huge increase in internal links could be happening but have got nowhere. If anyone could advise what the issue could be and how I can fix it, I would be eternally grateful. Issues I have discovered along the way that may help with analysis:

My site has many 404s (hundreds) - all relate to urls of old images that have been removed from the website. The 'Top Hits' on my website are from blogs (some spammy) to these deleted image urls that return a 404. I don't use any plugins. I do get 'duplicate content' notices as my blog posts archive themselves and generate new urls - as an example - 'blog post name' archived December 2023. It may be the case that the old http urls have been redirected to https but I have no warnings for 'redirect issues' in Moz. I want to know how PA works in MOZ? Like I have a website https://myinfo.pk its DA is same on all posts but when I see PA of IESCO Bill Page and LESCO Bill page. Both are different. Why PA is different of many posts when DA is same. Is there any specific reason?

Open Site Explorer is finding old html Files that havn't been on my site in two years... even after a 301 Redirect. HELP!

My problem started when I became aware that when I checked my backlinks for the past two years, it states that no backlinks have been found. When I ran a site analysis on SEMrush - No backlinks are found on the URL, or Domain. There are 7 Backlinks on the Root Domain and those were configured in 2012. I made a second domain www.columbusweddingphotographersreviews.comwhere I linked to my domain at www.morganlindsayphotography.com so I could test that google had crawled both websites and after, still no backlink was found. I have also been published on a dozen or so wedding websites that has linked to my website where they are follow links and still nothing. DA/PA Question
Hello Mozzers, May be a noobish question but I've learned to ask when I stuck. Can we calculate how many links we need to get for example a domain authority of 40. Like can we say, if we get 8 more 80+ DA links, our own DA rises to 40. I know DA/PA are just moz numbers and it takes a lot more to succeed, but I thought about it and now I want to know it;) Help is highly appreciated!

Inbound Links Sorted by Linking Domain
Hi All -- Does anyone know if it is possible to generate a report (or is there a setting) to have the OSE inbound links report sorted by OSE linking domain? Ideally, the report would create a second column in the "Inbound Links" report with "Linking Domain" and then you could create a nice report that cross-tabbed the links. While you could do some excel text manipulation to do this, does anyone know if it's possible to do through the report generator? Thanks, Matt
