We recently launched a new site that doesn't have any ads, but in Webmaster Tools under "Fetch as Google" under the rendering of the page I see:

Googlebot couldn't get all resources for this page. Here's a list:

URL Type Reason Severity

https://static.doubleclick.net/instream/ad_status.js Script Blocked Low robots.txt

https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id AJAX Blocked Low robots.txt

Not sure where that would be coming from as we don't have any ads running on our site?

Also, it's stating the the fetch is a "partial" fetch.

Any insight is appreciated.

It's caused by having embedded YouTube videos. These YT ad scripts being blocked will also lead to a partial fetch.

Google how deal with licensed content when this placed on vendor & client's website too. Will Google penalize the client's site for this ?

One of my client bought licensed content from top vendor of Health Industry. 404 not found page appears as 200 success in Google Fetch. What to do to correct?

We have received messages in Google webmaster tools that there is an increase in soft 404 errors. When we check the URLs they send to the 404 not found page:
For example, http://www.geographics.com/images/01904_S.jpg
redirects to http://www.geographics.com/404.shtml.
When we used fetch as Google, here is what we got: .
#1 Server Response: http://www.geographics.com/404.shtml
HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Thu, 26 Sep 2013 14:26:59 GMT
What is wrong and what shall we do? The soft 404 errors are mainly for images that no longer exist in the server. Thanks!

Do we need to manually submit a sitemap every time, or can we host it on our site as /sitemap and Google will see & crawl it?

I realized we don't have a sitemap in place, so we're going to get one built. Once we do, I'll submit it manually to Google via Webmaster tools. However, we have a very dynamic site with content constantly being added. Will I need to keep manually re-submitting the sitemap to Google? Or could we have the continually updating sitemap live on our site at /sitemap and the crawlers will just pick it up from there? I noticed this is what SEOmoz does at http://www.seomoz.org/sitemap.

301 technical issue / sitemap being found in search

Hi I recently did some 301 redirects. But now when I type into the search results 'Kyocera black and white printers' my site map is coming up in the listings - does any have any advise as to why this may be happening and how to fix it? Please see image attached, thanks. 1XqHW.jpg

How to block/notify google that your domain has been added to sites with very low trustworthiness?

Hey Guys, I am writing to SEOmoz community because a problem occurred which I do not know how to solve: My domain (xyz.com) occured on very strange sites with very low trustworthiness (even blocked by google). Checking the site, I found out that all of the pictures were ALT=xyz.com. Could this hurt my position of my site on google rankings? How to prevent such actions, what should I do? Blocking Google from Crawling Parameters

Hi guys: What is the best way to keep Google from crawling certain urls with parameters? I used the setting in Webmaster Tools, but that doesn't seem to be helping at all. Can I use robots.txt or some other method? Thanks! Do search engines still index/crawl private content?

If you have a membership site, which requires a payment to access specific content/images/videos, do search engines still use that content as a ranking/domain authority factor? Is it worth optimizing these "private" pages for SEO?
