Why isn't Google caching our pages?
-
Hi everyone,
We have a new content marketing site that allows anyone to publish checklists. Each checklist is being indexed by Google, but Google is not storing a cached version of any of our checklists.
Here's an example:
https://www.checkli.com/checklists/ggc/a-girls-guide-to-a-weekend-in-south-beach- Why is this happening?
- How do we fix it?
- Is this hurting the SEO of our website.

Hi there,
This is a weird quirk of Google: sometimes, when their cached version of your page tries to execute some code and fails, the cached page looks blank. Here's the key: when you first load the cache, you'll get the gray banner at the top for about a second as the page tries to load, then everything will go white. In that second or so, if you quickly click on "Text Only Version," you'll see the text version of the cache, at least, and see that Google's reading and saving your content.
I tried this with the page you shared, and was able to get text (picture attached).
To my knowledge, this does not mean that Google isn't able to properly index your pages. But it may be worth looking closely at the text only version of the page to see if it's missing something that you load with a script.
Good luck!
Kristina

My homepage doesn't seem to be indexed. Any suggestions?
As the title said, I don't think my homepage is being indexed. When I use "site:" search operator it's not there, but it's still ranking for other various keywords. Also the pages of my site I would expect to see with the "site:" search operator aren't there either. Site for reference: three29.com Any ideas what could be causing this? I don't have any errors or penalties in Search Console. Thanks.

Will google merge structured data from two pages if they have the same canonical?
Will google merge structured data from two pages if they have the same canonical? The crawler should be able to get to the tab through an ahref. The tab in question is "Cast & Crew." Thank you in advance for any insight! szmOmj8.jpg uM8qUfi.jpg

Last slow to cached pages?
Hi Guys, A lot of our pages we updated with new category based content on our e-commerce site I noticed haven't been cached for a while like This is Google's cache of https://www.domain.com/makeup/eyes/mascara. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 15 Jun 2017 11:37:52 GMT. Does this mean that google hasn't reviewed this page yet? Could this be due to poor internally linking or something? Cheers.

Getting out of Google's Penguin
Hi all, my site www.uniggardin.dk has lost major rankings on the searchengine google.dk. Went from rank #2-3 on important keywords to my site, and after the latest update most of my rankings have jumped to #12 - #20. This is so annoying, and I really have no idea what to do. Can it cause bad links to my site? In that case what will I have to do? Thanks in advance,

Google Cache Redirection Issue? Or awaiting DNS Propagation?
We have just launched an Australian version of our .com site. The domain example.com.au used to redirect automatically to example.com. We updated the DNS to point to our new Australian site on 13 August and have started a two week soft launch to iron out issues and allow us to start the indexing process. The issue is, when I'm checking to see if we have been crawled yet, if I do I search for: cache:http://www.example.com.au The cache automatically redirects to http://www.example.com and shows the cache for that site. The date on the cache is: 14 Aug 2012 20:47:34 GMT. My question is, have I missed something during this process or are we just waiting for the DNS change to fully propagate?

Does google detect all updated page with new links
as paid links? Example: A PR 4 page updates the page a year later with new links. Does Google discredit these links as being fishy?
