How do I redirect SEO from pages on old website to new website with new domain name?
My website in squarespace has good rankings and we have rebranded to a new name and enw domain name, how do I move across the rankings fomr the old site in squarespace to my new site thats in wordpress please?

301 redirects & point the root domain also, your hosting provider will help with this.
-
I would recommend setting up server side redirects from your host with 301 redirects. It can be a tedious job but it's well worth it SEO wise.
-
Effectdigital has hit the nail on the head there. A well performed 301 redirect is your answer and the links given are perfect.
-
You would need to use 301 redirects for this:

Note that there are many factors which can stop a 301 redirect from properly transferring SEO authority from one page to another (regardless of whether it's on a new domain or not)
This one: https://moz.com/community/q/changed-url-and-now-not-listing#reply_394821 - is quite important!

Is it important to have the brand name in all page title?
Hi Moz community, May be this is an obvious question but as i am not sure about the answer.... I prefer to ask you! If yes, is "keywords" - "BRAND NAME " the good option? If not, is there any rule? Thanks a lot, Amaury

Dividing a website into two websites
I have a website which talks about Yoga and GMAT classes (2,000 pages). It has blog posts, Faqs, discussions, videos etc.I am planning to fork GMAT content (1,000) pages into a niche website to rank better. Is this a good idea or bad idea? Will Google think niche new Yoga site as duplicate content was there on Dance site in the beginning. I am doing this with assumption that niche website will have higher authority so that I can beat the competitors. What is the best approach to beat your competitors? I am primarily concerned of what happens if I fork half of the website into a new one. Will Google treat new website as a duplicate content website because, this content WAS present in old website and Google will have archives of that. Please help

Communities Served on Page for SEO
Hi, We have an urgent care facility outside of our hospital located in an other location and we would like to increase the organic seo for the highest traffic surrounding towns. I have toyed with the following ideas but would like to know what everyone thinks is best. 1.) Just included "proudly serving patients in Area 1, Area 2, Area 3, Area 4" on the bottom of the page. 2.) Create a page that says areas served... then each page would have a non-duplicated and original content for that area. 3.) build a microsite for the urgent care site and optimize with content from option 2 above and just add option one to our main website.

What's the impact of # in the main domain page?
After a little research I did in the Source Code of the root domain page of seomoz.org and searchenginejournal.com , I found that the first one contains no at all and that the other contains like 10 . I though that the was something relatively important on a web page for on page optimisation. Did I missed something? What's you opinion on the subject? Thanks for your help!

The SEO and CRO Value of an Image Next to Page Content
If given the choice to add an attractive stock photo to a conversion focused page, do the pros out number the cons in terms of SEO and CRO. Some pros are that you can include the keyword in the image filename and image alt tag. It can also increase user experience by making the page more attractive. Some cons might be that it increases page load time which can have a negative impact on SEO and user expereience. Also the visitor might get distracted away from the lead form button.
