URLs dropping from index (Crawled, currently not indexed)

I've noticed that some of our URLs have recently dropped completely out of Google's index.
When carrying out a URL inspection in GSC, it comes up with 'Crawled, currently not indexed'.
Strangely, I've also noticed that under referring page it says 'None detected', which is definitely not the case.
I wonder if it could be something to do with the following? https://www.seroundtable.com/google-ranking-index-drop-30192.html - It seems to be a bug affecting quite a few people.
Here are a few examples of the URLs that have gone missing:

since the beginning of ladykiller.nl I am having the same issues with Google to crawl sitemap(s) and index urls. I am using Yoast as a plugin for the sitemap.
For the moment +3620 urls are indexed, but my website has +10.000 urls :(.
Also from time to time I get a notice in GSC that Google can not fetch certain sitemap urls f.e. https://ladykiller.nl/post-sitemap.xml. Mostly the issue is fixed after a week or so. Please find print screen here: https://prnt.sc/Pm_h2Arjxu-kAlready asked on numerous forums for help, as I can not find a solution to get this problem fixed. However, without any good results so far.
Therefore, I am trying it here again in the hope maybe some of you guys have some better understanding of what the issue might be and how it can be fixed. All help is highly appreciated!

As for "crawled, not indexed" - in most cases it happens because of one and only reason - Google is seeing your page as thin content, not worth being indexed. Typically it happens on bigger sites with a lot of similar pages. In your case, you got many courses, with exactly same structure. So, if the content is not completely different, then Google might deem it not worthy.
As for the bug you referenced - did your URLs drop off the index exactly at the time when this issue has been discovered? (aka within the last week?).
Do you have any cannibalization happening?
To me it looks like that's the case. If I do this search: "site:https://www.ihasco.co.uk/ Sexual Harassment Training course"
There are many pages that are indexed and are ranking: https://dmitrii-regexseo.tinytake.com/tt/NDY4NDcwN18xNDgzNjg4Mg
So, basically, you have pages that are more authoritative with similar content. Therefore your courses pages are dropping as thin content.
I would recommend doing some internal linking optimization to tell Google what is actually important. Look in GSC for internal links metrics.

Hello, I am new in SEO and I am trying to understand the basics in URL parameters. Let’s assume that I have an ecommerce site with Categories (Category1, Category2) Views (listview=1, listview=2) Orders (OrderBy=1, OrderBy=2) Pages (pg=1, pg=2) Why should I add google to index pages with different views and Listing orders? What is the benefit for the site to have the same content with different order? I am not sure but maybe only need pages in order to google to “travel” between the pages? For example: www.mydomain.com/books/pg=1 www.mydomain.com/books/?order=date www.mydomain.com/books/?listview =1 The products in pages (pg) will always include products in order and listview? Dropped out of Bing index!! (and Yahoo too)
When I search for my site via site:domain.com or url:domain.com the are ZERO results except for this Some results have been removed which goes to http://help.bing.microsoft.com/#apex/18/en-US/10016/0 We are a total white hat website. What should I do? Is there someone at Bing I can contact? I dont see anyway via Bing Webmaster tools.

Ranking and Indexing Issue
We have an established site www.getinspired365.com that previously wasn't SEO optimised. We are currently in the process of testing out some new pages to see if we can get them to rank in Google, however we are seeing huge fluctuations in where they rank. Within the first few days we saw our page rank on the first or second page, however it has now dropped out of the top 250 search results. We are wondering if we have made any mistakes with our optimisation ? Example Page : Keyword to target - "If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special." URL : http://www.getinspired365.com/if-you-laugh-you-think-and-you-cry-thats-a-full-day-thats-a-heck-of-a-day-you-do-that-seven-days-a-week-youre-going-to-have-something-special We can see it has been indexed by Google but is now not ranking in the top 250 search engine results. We have run the On Page Grader from SEOMoz and it ranks the page as an "A" so we suspect that we are doing the SEO ok on the page, but can't work out why it isn't ranking, despite ranking on the first or second page after a few days ? We have other pages that aren't SEO optimised that rank better than our newly SEO optimised pages e.g. Keyword - "THE BEST LOVE IS THE KIND THAT AWAKENS THE SOUL AND MAKES US REACH FOR MORE, THAT PLANTS A FIRE IN OUR HEARTS AND BRINGS PEACE TO OUR MINDS. Some URLs in the sitemap not indexed
Our company site has hundreds of thousands of pages. Yet no matter how big or small the total page count, I have found that the "URLs Indexed" in GWMT has never matched "URLS in Sitemap". When we were small and now that we have a LOT more pages, there is always a discrepancy of ~10% or so missing from the index. It's difficult to know which pages are not indexed, but I have found some that I can verify are in the Sitemap.xml file but not at all in the index. When I go to GWMT I can "Fetch and Render" missing pages fine - it's not as though it's blocked or inaccessible. Any ideas on why this is? Is this type of discrepancy typical?

If Google's index contains multiple URLs for my homepage, does that mean the canonical tag is not working?
I have a site which is using canonical tags on all pages, however not all duplicate versions of the homepage are 301'd due to a limitation in the hosting platform. So some site visitors get www.example.com/default.aspx while others just get www.example.com. I can see the correct canonical tag on the source code of both versions of this homepage, but when I search Google for the specific URL "www.example.com/default.aspx" I see that they've indexed that specific URL as well as the "clean" one. Is this a concern... shouldn't Google only show me the clean URL?

Help! Pages not being indexed

Our website (www.barnettcapitaladvisors.com) stopped being indexed in search engines following a round of major changes to URLs and content. There were a number of dead links for a few days before 301 redirects were properly put in place. And now, only 3 pages show up in bing when I do the search "site:barnettcapitaladvisors.com". A bunch of pages show up in Google for that search, but they're not any of the pages we want to show up. Our home page and most important services pages are nowhere in search results. What's going on here?

Instant Indexing
I've been working on a site for a while now, methodically building content and building trust and authority. Lately I've noticed that anything I publish there appears to be instantly indexed by Google, which surprises me. I haven't had this happen before so I'm curious. I'd be interested to hear the experience of others.

Why is a 301 redirected url still getting indexed?
We recently fixed a redirect issue in a website, and although it appears that the redirection is working fine, the url in question keeps on getting crawled, indexed and cached by google. The redirect was done a month ago, and google shows cached version of it, even for a couple of days ago. Manual checking shows that its being redirected, and also a couple of online tools i checked report a 301 redirect. Do you have any idea why this could be happening? The website I'm talking about is www.hotelmajestic.gr and its being redirected to www.hotel-majestic.gr
