Can i do this? Will Google penalize me?
-
I have a page for a Criminal Defense Attorney and i set up a list of the type of criminal charges he is certified to deal with. I wanted to use title tags and put the Keyword "Miami Criminal Defense Attorney" & "Miami Traffic Defense Lawyer"...
My question is will Google penalize me for plugging the same Key words over and over on the title tag for each

??
CHECK THE IMAGE to see what I'm talking about... thanks guys.

Thanks everyone.

For images at least, they say alt >> title.

I've seen Google slap a site for something similar. An attorney added 20 new pages to his site, all having to do with divorce. Links were added to the main navigation of the page. Anchor text was like "Miami Divorce Lawyer for Artists", "Miami Divorce Lawyer for Actors" etc. After the site got crawled their rankings dropped. Pulled the links (kept the content) and rankings were restored in a week.
I would call each one what it is.

Title tags and Alt tags do help for key word optimization though if i'm not mistaken. But I've seen some title tags with over 20 key words stuffed in them and that's just horrid.
-
My intentions weren't to fool Google -_- and yes you are correct about title attribute not being a major factor for optimization (just needed some tips on how to avoid this). I didn't want to stuff keywords into the alt or title tags from the beginning just needed a visible representation of what i was exactly talking about to show the moz community.
Ill just get rid of them for now and put the title tags some where else with suitable key words..

As a user, when I hover over those links, I'm going to think it's strange and annoying when that title text keeps appearing for every link. I doubt you're going to be fooling Google with that. It's blatant keyword stuffing. As for whether it's worth penalizing, I don' t know. I don't think Google takes the title attribute into account very much for rankings anyway...
I'd get rid of it them, or make the title text match the links it appears for.

Can we link back from help documents to product or features pages on website?
Hi, We have all our help documents on subdirectory linked for all the features or products we provide. Like we linked website.com/help/seo-guide from website.com/services/seo-product as that is relevant guide. Do we need to link back from all help guide pages to product pages? Thanks

Can the design still be considered adaptive if the URL is different?
I was under the impression our site had a mobile dedicated design, but my developers are telling me we have an adaptive design. The mobile site is set up different and has different content and the url is as follows: www.site.com/MobileView/MobileHome.aspx Can it still be considered adaptive if the URL is not the exact same? Hopefully this make sense and I appreciate anyone's input!

How can I fix New 4XX Issue on Site Crawl?
Hi all, My recent site crawl shows 27 4xx issues on this website http://www.rrbusinessconsultants.com/ All of them are for 'posts' on this wordpress website. Here is an example of the issue: http://www.rrbusinessconsultants.com/rr-business-consultants-on-the-rise-of-glassdoor-and-how-companies-are-coping/void(null) The blog page seems to be creating links ending in void(null) which are defaulting to 404 pages. I cannot see the links on the site so cannot see how to remove them. Can anyone provide any insight into how to correct his issue? Many thanks in advance.

Links not visible in "Google cache text version" but visible in "Fetch as Google" in Webmaster tool
Hi Guys, There seems some issue with the coding due to which Google is not indexing half of our menu bar links. The cached text version of http://www.99acres.com/ is not showing links present in dropdown "All India" , dropdown "Advice" and "Hot Projects" tab in blue bar on top menu whereas these links are visible in "Fetch as Google" in Google Webmaster tool. Any clue to why is there a difference between the links shown in Google webmaster and Google cache text version. Thanks in advance 🙂

Can't Hyperlink After the WP 4.0 Update?
Anyone else who runs a WP site have problems hyperlinking after the 4.0 update? I read I could deactivate all my plugins, and go through them one-by-one, but before I go to that step, I want to know if there's either an easier way to regain this functionality or if there is a specific plugin that's known to cause the problem. Thanks, Ruben

Will launching this site get my E-commerce site penalized?
Hello.. I am wondering if you guys think launching a site like this is a good or a bad idea. All of the links on it go directly to the exact corresponding page on the ecommerce site. Do you think Google will penalize my site for launching sites (i have many other domains that i will be setting up similar to this) like this? Thanks...

Old links in Google, new website affecting SEO?
Hi Guys, I have launched my website in october and it has already been indexed by google. Now I'm going to launch my redesign which comes with a new structure, content, links, etc. So the question is, do I have to resubmit my website to google to get rid of old links? Onsite Explorer shows links to my forum which has been spammed with p* stuff which has been already indexed as well. The forum is off now. I want to use SEOmoz to track my new website but I guess this could be a hard thing as old links etc will be shown as well. Is there any tool to let Google know about my changes? Does it affect my SEO in any way? Thank you for your help. Nick
