I often see in my campaigns, that keywords which ranked on a page between spot 1 to 5 on the SERP stop being ranked on that respective page, causing the website to be in the 5th page or worse on Google. I also see that the keyword is not linked to a page anymore. What causes this to happen and how can I solve this from happening in the future?

@ginovdw if you haven't done anything special on your website (off-page). The best thing you can do is to do nothing! Just let it go, it's probably google dance. Brandis

Recovering rankings after a botched url change

Hi there, I have for a long time had a bicycle maintenance website at madegood.org. Over the years the film branch of this business has taken off and moved in a slightly different direction, so I thought in March I decided to move madegood.org to madegoobikes.com, and create a new website for my film business at madegood.com. I thought I did a good job of telling google about my change of domain, but my rankings completely died, so about a month I moved madegoodbikes.com back to madegood.org. So far I haven't seen any sign of a recovery in my rankings, I'm getting almost no visits. How to Combine the Moz Keyword Difficulty Tool with Google Keyword Planner for LOCAL (city/town) Results

Hi there, I wish that Moz would show local (city/town) results in their Keyword Difficulty Tool. But they don't, so here's my question: I'm trying to rank for keywords "interior design" in a local geographic area in the US. When using Google KWP, I'm selecting all the towns I want to rank in, and searching against the keywords INTERIOR DESIGN. The search volume appears to be approx. 370 a month. What I'm not sure about is whether I should instead (or in addition to), be searching for INTERIOR DESIGN (CITY), and leaving the geographic selection as US. What is most accurate? OR...should I search for INTERIOR DESIGN (CITY) in Moz's Keyword tool? How do you guys do it?

Fresh Web Explorer: Will frequent posting of relevant links to own content in comments of blogs and articles hurt rankings?

Fresh Web Explorer finds daily about 10 articles/blog posts where I could post in comment section a relevant link to content on my own website, which I really belief may be of interest to many readers of the articles. I would like to do this for the traffic that these links are generating to my site (intention is not ranking improvement).
Would I need to be concerned that it could affect negatively my ranking if I post so many times links to my own site in the comment sections and also considering that I would always link to the same about 5 landing pages on my site? To give some context. The site for wich I want to build links for is long established PageRank 6 site with legit links from about 1000 different root domains. I would only post to articles published within last 48h. Would I need to be concerned about the frequency of the posting and if so, any ideas what may be a reasonable frequency to post my links?

Avoid Keyword Stuffing in Document

I have been implementing changes to our site outlined by the
on-page report tool. One of the most common issues it highlighted with our site
was Avoid Keyword
Stuffing in Document. I have started reducing the number of
keywords on each page so it falls under the recommended 15. So far we haven’t
seen any positive effects from this and i am a little concerned we might be
seeing some negative effect (very early days). Has anyone else implemented this change recently and what effect
did it have? Is this recommendation more in preparation to the up and coming
