Unsolved Make Moz reindex the pages for keywords
-
Hi
Moz says we're 18th for a phrase but that's for the page /himonsia-generators because that was the highest ranking page. If you search now for "heavy range generators" we're jumping between 10-12th position but it's for the page /products/generators - which is correct. How can I make Moz "Reindex" the pages?

If you want search engines to reindex your web pages, you can follow these general steps:
I don't want "search engines to reindex your web pages", I need Moz to catchup.

@RichardAskew If Moz is still reporting an outdated page as the ranking page for a specific keyword, it could be due to the frequency of their data updates. Moz collects data periodically from search engines, and there might be a delay in reflecting the most recent changes in rankings.
In such cases, it's advisable to give Moz some time to update its data and reevaluate the rankings. They typically update their data regularly, but the exact frequency may vary.
If you continue to see discrepancies between Moz's reported ranking and your pages' actual ranking, you can contact Moz's support team for further assistance. They can provide insights into their data collection and update processes, and help you understand any potential factors contributing to the inconsistency. -
Thanks for coming back to me.
The issue isn't I want Google to reindex my site, the issue is that for some keywords Moz is using a page that is no longer the highest ranking for that keyword.
Moz uses "page A" for "Keyword Z"
Optimisation carried out
"Page B" now outranks "Page A" for the keyword
Moz is still reporting "Page A" and not "Page B"

@RichardAskew Moz is a tool that provides insights and analysis based on the data it has collected. It does not have direct control over search engine indexing or the ability to reindex specific pages. Moz gathers data from search engines periodically and updates its rankings and other metrics based on that information.
If you want search engines to reindex your web pages, you can follow these general steps:
-
Make sure your web pages are accessible: Ensure that the pages you want to be indexed are not blocked by robots.txt or any other directives that prevent search engine crawlers from accessing them.
-
Submit a sitemap: Create an XML sitemap that includes the URLs of the pages you want to be indexed and submit it to search engines. This helps search engines discover and crawl your pages more efficiently.
-
Fetch as Google: If you want to specifically notify Google about a page's updated content, you can use the "Fetch as Google" tool in Google Search Console. This allows you to request Google to crawl and index a specific URL.
-
Internal linking: Include links to the pages you want to be indexed from other relevant pages on your website. Internal linking helps search engine crawlers discover and navigate through your site.
-
External linking: Acquire quality backlinks from other reputable websites. Backlinks can help search engines discover and index your pages more effectively.
-
Update content regularly: Adding fresh and relevant content to your pages on a regular basis can signal to search engines that your website is active and encourage them to revisit and reindex your pages.

What Tools Should I Use To Investigate Damage to my website
I would like to know what tools I should use and how to investigate damage to my website in2town.co.uk I hired a person to do some work to my website but they damaged it. That person was on a freelance platform and was removed because of all the complaints made about them. They also put in backdoors on websites including mine and added content. I also had a second problem where my content was being stolen. My site always did well and had lots of keywords in the top five and ten, but now they are not even in the top 200. This happened in January and feb. When I write unique articles, they are not showing in Google and need to find what the problem is and how to fix it. Can anyone please help

Unsolved Building a report that provides all ranking keywords to specific pages on my website
I'd like to build a report that provides me all of the ranking keywords (tracked and un-tracked) for about 100 specific webpages on the rockhurst.edu site. I can pull the keywords from Keyword Explorer using the exact page url, but I don't want to have to do that individually for all 100 or so pages.

Why is moz saying I have a 404 error?
I recently asked a question on here about how to fix my 404 error. I figured it out, and now webmaster tools says it's not there any more. This as been confirmed by keeping watch for about a week now. But Moz just crawled my site today and is for some reason showing an error. Am i missing something here or is Moz a little slow sometimes?
