What happened to the 'traffic' column on the rankings page?

There used to be a traffic column on the Rankings page. Now I don't see it.

Hi Mike,

It was an error in our most recent release, it should return in the next release.

Unsolved On page grader

on page grader keywords

All of my keywords score a 53 using the on page grader. When I look at the notes it indicates I don't have the keyword in question anywhere on the page which, while true in some cases, is not always factual. Does anyone have a similar experience?

SEO and page redirects from a high ranking site quandary

We are launching a site on a new domain that is taking the place of a group (subset) of pages in an existing domain. BUT The pages on the existing domain have really good SEO rankings in a very competitive category and we want to leverage the traffic it gets today in the best way, so.... Which of the following would be the best practice in this case (in regards to SEO)? Modify the existing pages' content so that there are prominent calls to action that lead the users to the new domain. Create permanent redirects for the existing pages for their counterparts on the new domain. This is more direct for the user but we don't know how it will affect the current ranking. Something other than the above. Many thanks for you help Gary

Does anyone know why some keyword rankings go from nowhere in the top 50 to ranking 1st to then nowhere in the top 50 in the space of 3 weeks?

SEOMOZ told me to ask the question here because they say their ranking programme now works correctly and the problems I was having before with keywords changing so dramatically, even though nothing had been changed with regards to optmisation, is now to do with google rather than their ranking tool do google really change their algorithms on a weekly basis so that rankings can go up by more than 50 to ranking 1st to then going down by more than 50? Any hints or tips from anyone on I can keep the rankings more consistent (maybe dropping or increasing by one or two places week by week rather than changing by over 50 positions?)

Benefits of reducing on page links

This is more of a discussion point. What would be the measurable results of reducing the number of on page links, specifically on a home page, but let's assume by way of a large navigation menu most of the pages have a lot of links" For instance, would any of the stats on the MozBar be affected (let's start with the home page). Would the Page Authority or MozRank change at all, perhaps because there is less "juice" flowing out of the home page? Thanks! 🙂

Crawl Diagnostics Shows thousands of 302's from a single url. I'm confused

Hi guys I just ran my first campaign and the crawl diagnostics are showing some results I'm unfamiliar with.. In the warnings section it shows 2,838 redirects.. this is where I want to focus. When I click here it shows 5 redirects per page. When I go to click on page 2, or next page, or any other page than page 1 for that matter... this is where things get confusing. Nothing shows. Downloading the csv reveals that 2,834 of these are all showing: URL: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php url: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php referrer: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php location_header: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php I guess I'm just looking for an explanation as to why it's showing so many to the same page and what possible actions can be taken on my part to correct it (if needed). Need to find all pages that link to list of pages/pdf's

I know I can do this in OSE page by page, but is there a way I can do this in a large batch? There are 200+ PDF's that I need to figure out what pages (if any) link to the PDF. I'd rather not do this page by page, but rather copy-paste the entire list of pages I'm looking for. Any tools you know of that can do this?

Why aren't canonical tags reducing duplicate page title/content?

We have canonical tags set up for a feature page on one of our sites. This site has an image gallery controlled by javascript. To aid the user experience the image can also be specified by a URL parameter (the javascript also uses this URL to fetch the images). The SEOMoz report complains that the links to these images have duplicate page titles and content. To try and combat this we set canonical tags to point only to the original page, without the slideshow parameter. e.g. http://www.example.com/feature-page/ http://www.example.com/feature-page/?slideshow=1 -> canonical tag set to http://www.example.com/feature-page/ http://www.example.com/feature-page/?slideshow=2 -> canonical tag set to http://www.example.com/feature-page/ The latest SEOMoz report has come back and the errors still exist. What can we do to remove these error messages? Thanks

Link from home page

I see an abundance of websites that don't link out at all, and there is no data available to seoMoz for the sites, some like http:// regal - diving dot com (trying not to get moderated AGAIN Innocent need to show which link and its a competitor kind of) are not linking to anyone else just internal links. How come they dont show info to SEOMOZ Should I link out from home page, is this detrimental does ANY single link from home page show google that I am not a PROPER web business. thanks
