Has there been any feedback from Google regarding their mass mail blunder?

I received a mail yesterday from a Joseph Middleswart from Google welcoming me to the beta trial for real time analytics.
But my enjoyment at finally being able to see what's happening with real time data on my site was tempered by the 100+ spam mails I received immediatly after from some of the 200 odd people he'd included in the bulk mailing.
Coming less than a week after Google tells us it's withholding keyword data from GA in order to protect the privacy of logged in users, I'm absolutely dumfounded at their incompetence.
How can they show such a flagrant disregard for my privacy in introducing a new service while dressing up a restriction on another service as a security / privacy matter?
Did anyone else fall victim to this incompetence?

I'v had real time for a couple of weeks now, its fun to follow instant and see how the user navigates througt your site but more then that??... I cant see it.
I haven't seen any drops in google organic yet and I still get data for all my keywords, I wonder how this will turn out.

I have a google+ company page set up and have recently added a Google local listing but have noticed it automatically sets up an additional company G+ page. Is there a way to merge the two? Can not see any reference to this issue on Google Q&A. Thanks, Stacey

Now that Google is no longer publicly displaying Page Rank updates, how will this effect Moz's ability to calculate DA and PA?
Hi, How much more important do you guys think that Moz's Page Authority and Domain Authority metrics are going to become now that Google has stopped giving people public access to a site or pages Page Rank? And how accurate is PA and DA as a measurement in comparison to Page Rank..so for example if I was seeking a guestposting opportunity and saw a site as having a PR of 4....if I now looked to Moz's Page and Domain Authority metrics instead...would that still give me equivalent information on the strength of that domain and thus make a judgement on whether it will be a worthy site for a guestpost.. I guess what I am asking is, how close is now looking at Moz's metrics (ie. a third party company) to the info on PageRank that was being updated by Google themselves? Also will the lack of updated public PR info from Google effect the ability for Moz to calculate PA and DA?? Look forward to your replies on this,

My site just dropped out of the rankings completely. But if you look at the Google search above you will notice 2 things:
1. First page: 75% of space above the fold is dedicated to Google making money
2. Subsequent pages: It is like you don't actually search "Google" If you flip through a few pages what you actually search is:

Google Cached "Text Only" version
Is there a way to test what a page would look like in Google "Text Only" version before a page is indexed in Google? Is there a tool out there to help with this?

Google Webspam Algo Update 24/4/12
Having just checked our clients rankings 95% have not been affected, in fact many have moved up rankings. 1 or 2 have had big drops 😞 Who has been effected by this? The forums are full of people talking about sites being floored from the serp's. it will be interesting to follow the aftermath of this and get some insight into what exactly has changed!

Should we be bracing ourselves for a YSE to OSE mass migration?
I was just thinking, now that YSE is finally about to become no-more, that's likely to mean OSE and Majestic get an influx of people who previously used that mostly... I wonder if there will be numbers enough to clog things up and slow things down? Maybe it just seems like their are millions of us SEO's in giant herds marauding the plains of the web when in-fact there's not that many of us really, and we get a distorted, non-relative view of numbers due to being immersed in it. There's definitely ten times more than there was three years ago... I know some of you old fogies (just kidding) have been going a lot longer than that but the UK had a tiny fraction of agencies offering SEO of what it does now. *I reckon there should be a new question topic added for people like me, called random nonsense or something... I didn't know what to select for this question 😄
