In this guide, you’ll learn more about the Insights view within the Reviews section of your Moz Local account. 

Please note: Moz Local has multiple Insights views. To identify which view you’re working in, refer to the app's left-hand navigation menu.

Accessing your Insights dashboard

The Reviews Insights Dashboard is available at the account, group, and location level. You can access this view from the Reviews section of your account. To see data for a group or single location, select it from the drop-down at the top left.

Once in the Reviews Insights Dashboard view, you can select a date range from the top right to adjust the data you see below.

Reviews overview table

The first module in the Review Insights Dashboard is an overview of your reviews by network.

This table includes the following information:

  1. Network — The name of the review network.

  2. Average Score — The average review score over the selected timeframe for the given review network.

  3. All Time Native Score — The all-time review score on the given review network as of the end date of the selected timeframe.

  4. Positive — The number of positive reviews received.

  5. Neutral — The number of neutral reviews received.

  6. Negative — The number of negative reviews received. 

  7. Total Reviews — The total number of reviews in each network.

When viewing Insights at the account level or for a group, the data shown will be for all locations within that account or group.

 

Please note: Review numbers for Facebook may not match the counts seen on the Facebook Business Page. This is because Facebook only provides review data from within the last 10 years. 

Reviews by month graph

Below the overview table you’ll see the Reviews by Month graph. This graph will show you the number of reviews you’ve received each month for the past 12 months and their average rating.

Each bar in the graph will be broken down by review sentiment. 

Dark Grey — Positive reviews

Light Grey — Neutral reviews

Red — Negative reviews

 

The black line indicates the average review score for that month. Hover over any data point or bar to see more information.

Reviews by source chart

The Reviews by Source pie chart illustrates the percentage of total reviews received on each review platform during the selected timeframe.

Reviews by sentiment chart

The Reviews by Sentiment pie chart illustrates the percentage of total reviews received during the selected timeframe were positive, neutral, or negative.

Reviews by response time chart

The Reviews by Response Time chart shows the number of reviews that fall into each category based on the time it took to respond. This will always be based on the native site response time that is posted.

Just a reminder: Most customers expect to receive a response to their review within 48 hours.

Reviews awaiting response

Are you wondering which reviews are awaiting a response? We’ve got you covered! Below the Reviews by Response Time chart is a list of the reviews awaiting responses. You will see the platform where the review was left, the star rating, and the review itself. Click the review or No response yet to respond.

A window will open where you can type a response, use an AI Suggested review response, or a Review Template to reply.
