Site Explorer - No Data Available for this URL
-
Hi All
I have just joined on the trial offer, im not sure if i can afford the monthly payments, but im hoping SEOmoz will show me that i also cannot afford to be without it!
In my proses of learning this site and flicking through each section to see what things do. However when i enter my URL into Site Explorer i get the following message
"No Data Available for this URL"
My site should be crawl-able, so how do i get to see data for my site/s.
I wont post my URL here, as the site has a slightly adult theme.
If anyone could confirm if i can post "slightly adult" sites.Best Regards

No problem, first time setting up can be tricky. Good luck.

Thank you very much, it is working in Site Explorer now but not in Competitive Link Analysis, it still says everything is 0.
if it does not update within the next few hours i will contact support.
Thanks again!

Thanks for letting me know about NSFW.
Anyway I'm seeing 40/47 on OSE. Go here:
http://www.opensiteexplorer.org
And search it there. You probably made a mistake in your campaign setting, if you can't change it yourself, I'm sure SEOmoz support can help you out.
So it is showing a good DA and PA.

Let me know what your domain is.

I have just added one of my sub-domains and this shows data.....
When i added my main site as a campaign i got an error message saying that my site redirects to SEOmoz.org, which of course it does not, so i selected to ignore and continue. Would this be anything to do with it?
-
Thank you very much for your reply
No, my site has been up for 3 years and is well indexed by Google/yahoo/Bing/etc.
We don't do too bad for visitors/page views (around 12,000 a day)
we have concentrated on good content to get us visitors, but i now feel it is time to use something like SEOmoz to get us better listing. Also when i am looking at the "Competitive Link Analysis" my site has a score of 0 for everything, is this right? as i have external links and of course have internal links, shouldn't these at lest not show as 0?
SEOmoz looks really useful, but it would be better for me if all figures didn't show as 0 or no data

Is your site new? OSE updates once a month and can take some time for it to be indexed.

How to set up Rel=canonical in Joomla based sites
I've built a few sites using joomla (please don't tell me I should be using wordpress!!) and wondered how I can add the rel-canonical to these pages. I'm assuming it would come as a plugin or module but can't seem to find anything that works right for me. Anyone any ideas? Thanks in advance, Gordon

Using Seomoz for Site Evaluation am I up to par ?
Just wanted to see how people using the seomoz bar would rate a four month old site with Domain-Homepage Authority of 27 Mozrank of 5.08 and Moztrust of 5.65 . I've read up on all the factors but just wanted to know if Im up to par on building a great site thats search engine friendly. Inner pagers are on a PA of 20 and around the same mozrank and moztrust levels of +- 5.

How to trace 4XX errors in campaign data?
I am trying to resolve a number of 4XX (Client Error) issues noted in my campaign report, but I have no idea where they are originating. All I get is the broken link, the status code, the page authority and the number of linking root domains. How do I identify where the erroring link originates? Is it coming from within my website, or from an external website? I have gone through my site in great detail looking for these links, but can't find any evidence of them. I also use a broken link detection plugin and it reports no problems whatsoever. Is there a way I can drill down into these 404 links and get more detail about where they are coming from?

How often does site explorer update.
My webmaster tools info is completely differernt to the opensite explorer info, I understand that site explorer only updates every so often but i reckon it been around four months since my stats were updated. Is there anywhere else i could view this info like PR and domain authority and actually get up to date info. Many thanks

Lots of site errors after last crawl....
Something interesting happened on the last update for my site on SEOmoz pro tools. For the last month or so the errors on my site were very low, then on the last update I had a huge spike in errors, warnings, and notices. I'm not sure if somehow I made a change to my site (without knowing it) and I caused all of these errors, or if it just took a few months to find all the errors on my site? My duplicate page content went from 0 to 45, my duplicate page titles went from 0 to 105, my 4xx (client error) went from 0 to 4, and my title missing or empty went from 0 to 3. On the warnings sections my missing meta description tag went form a hand full to 444. (most of these looking to be archive pages.) Down in the notices I have over 2000 that are blocked by meta robots, meta-robots nofollow, and Rel canonical. I didn't have any where near this many prior to the last update of my site. I just wanted to see what I need to do to clean this up, and figure out if I did something to cause all the errors. I'm assuming the red errors are the first things I need to clean up. Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Also if you'd like me to post any additional information, please let me know and I'd be glad to.

Why would Open Site Explorer say some internal links are images when in the source code they're text?
Hi, All! I was looking at OSE for one of my client's site's pages, and I saw that all internal links were said to be images. I was pretty sure their menu was CSS, and all the links were text. So I did "fetch as Googlebot" and looked in the resultant code of one of the homepage to see the main navigation bar. The navigation link for one of those pages looked like this: `onmouseover="doMenu2on(this);">[](http://www.mysite.com/solution_sub.asp?ID=8)` [``` <code>![](images/arrow6.gif)Anchor Text Here</code> ```](http://www.mysite.com/solution_sub.asp?ID=8) ``` The nav link for a page that does show internal anchor text in OSE looks like this: onmouseover="doMenu2on(this);">[](http://www.mysite.com/solution.asp?ID=5) [```

<code>Anchor Text Here</code> So there is an image in the link (it's the little arrow before the text to indicate a sub-category), but the anchor text comes right after it. Is Linkscape (and therefore potentially Google) seeing them as two different links to the same page and only counting the first? But it's all wrapped within the same <a></a>tags. Any ideas on if this is a bug in Linkscape, or a real issue, and what should be done? Thanks! Aviva``0 -
What happened to OSE/Linkscape data?
Can any member of the Moz team or of the community comment on the most recent OCE/linkscape update as of 09/08/2011. It appears that the link data capture for one of our platform is dramatically different than previously and that there are some huge discrepancies? Any update on the change would be appreciated as we use all these updates as benchmarks. Thanks
