im looking for solution how to get all backlinks to .pdf files on my site.
to get list of .pdf files with backlinks. and for them list of backlinking urls.thanks a lot

I'm afraid there's no native way in Open Site Explorer to pull all of your links to PDFs.
One option, though, would be to download the CSV with all of your links, and then filter out the ones whose targets don't end in .pdf.Keep in mind, though, that even that likely won't be every link. The Mozscape index is designed to give you a great sense of your overall link profile, but it isn't exhaustive.

i got thousands of .pdf files on the website. and they have hundreds of backlinks.
now i need to get a list of the backlinks only to these files..
i know i can get backlinks for one file manually but my question is if i can get it with some search operator for example.. or some filter..

How much time does it take for OSE to recognize backlinks?
Hi, We've ramped up our PR since 2-3 weeks and have been mentioned in a lot of publications including a big name like Forbes. But the OSE moz tool still shows zero backlinks to our domain.

Fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz?
Hi all, I have seen a few discussions / advice pieces around this, but wondered what the current view is on the fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz? I have seen people say that the content needs to be shared (e.g. on Twitter), and advice around creating Bitly links. I am not convinced that these techniques are working. On a related note, my website is very large. I have around 2.5m pages. Most of these pages are 3-4 clicks from the home page, but I have a small amount of important content much higher up in the site (1-2 clicks from the home page). Does Moz crawl pages nearer the home page more frequently, or does it make a pass of all pages on the site before it starts at the beginning again? If it makes a complete pass of all pages, then presumably making my site smaller will help to get Moz to see new content more quickly? Is there any other value to be gained in making a large site smaller? Many thanks in advance, Neil.

Where can I see the list of the new backlinks reported?
In my dashboard I see a +875 in external links. Now they are 1,130. This sounds worrying rother than good news! I'd like to get an explaination but how can I see where these links come from? And when? How can be explained a steep increase in the link count from the last index? Also, a minor question, where can I find the increase percentage? I am able to see only the absolute count.

Why Moz Doesn't See or Count Our Backlinks?
Hi Moz Community! We have been working hard to improve our Moz metrics, measuring against a high ranking competitor to help us set our goals. Our Majestic and Webmaster Tools find tens of thousands of external backlinks pointing to our domain. That's all well and good. Moz's Open Site Explorer, however, only finds 900 total links - including internal links! This being the case, we have worked diligently to build a variety of great external backlinks, creating Bitly links and encouraging clicks on those through social promotion. Yet, our competitor has over 7,000 external backlinks in Moz's index, while ours is not growing relative to their number of backlinks. Can anyone share with us what they do to tell Moz about their backlinks? We already know we have many more backlinks than our competitor, from trusted domains with good authority, yet it seems Moz is not discovering them. We just want to understand how to use these Moz metrics to create meaningful calls-to-action. Otherwise, it seems like a gargantuan waste of time, and our team has difficulty getting buy-in from our company to put time and assets toward tasks based on our Moz numbers!

Is there a easy way to take all links from O.S.E and add them to My Google WMT.CSV file?
Good morning everyone. I have recently discovered that someone has targeted me with a negative SEO campaign and I have been inundated with 13,000 anchor text links from spam sites pointing to my domain. I have run Open Site Explorer and gotten all of my backlinks on my desktop but what I need to do is add them to the back links .csv file from Google Webmaster Tools so that I can upload the file to my CognitiveSEO campaign. What I would like to know is, does anyone know how to transfer all backlinks from the open site explorer.csv file over to the webmaster tools .csv file in a bulk action without having to copy each link individually? I don't really have any working knowledge of excell in this capacity for SEO so, If anyone could explain how this would be done I would be eternally grateful because adding one link at a time is very painful and very time consuming. Open Site Explorer does not show my website backlinks
My website URL - packforcity.com I have backlinks from pinterest, flickr, yahoo, etc. but open site explorer does not show any in backlinks. my pinterest PA is 47.??? any suggestions why it does not show in backlinks?
