If we put the disavow links in google, does MOZ crawl the same links?
-
I have put bad or spam links in disavow file, but still showing in MOZ backlinks. So, I want to know that Why is MOZ not removing the spam links from their system?
-
@eli-myers Hello, I have a question about disavow links.
We have some backlinks which have high spam scores, we gave google for disavowing, but we don't know when Moz will see that we gave google those links to disavow them.
-
Hi Eli,
Any update on this feature? It's been over a year now since your post above. Has this moved on to the development roadmap now?
Thanks

Hi Eli Myers,
Thanks for sharing that information! Just one more question - Does this mean that spam scores are also not updated since the links are still showing in Moz? What are the appropriate steps to take to lower spam scores and as a result, improve DA?
-
Hi Eli Myers,
thank for sharing info. but how can I increase DA and PA. and how can I remove that spam backlinks permanently
-
Thanks Eli
for response on the question, actually we do not know who is making bad links for our website. He is putting our website links on spamy websites, and MOZ is crawling and showing our website is spamy too. We have already put that links in disavow. But Still we are unable to remove that links or unable to contact with spamy websites and they are also not replying on our emails too.
Hope ! you will also create a new best strategy same as google disavow tool.
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for contacting us!
We unfortunately will not detect that a link has been disavowed, this isn’t something we were able to include in the old or new DA models. Since disavowing links doesn't actually remove a link, it just signals to Google that the links isn't important, our crawler will continue to find the link. We are working on having something like that built into Link Explorer, where if you disavow a link in Google, you can also mark it as disavowed in Moz, but I’m afraid that option isn't available yet.
Links will not drop out of the Moz index unless the links are actually removed and no longer link to you, or if we’re unable to crawl the page the link is on.
We’ll continue to improve our Domain Authority and Page Authority algorithms and strengthen our link index as the search landscape changes. In terms of future updates, we anticipate this new DA model being quite stable over time. We will keep track of possible changes that we might need to make and we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
I hope this helps but please let us know if there's more we can help to clarify!
Eli

Is there an automated way to import Keyword Rank Tracker data in Google Data Studio?
I am creating an SEO Dashboard in Google Data Studio.

While it's easy to import data from Google Search Console, I have troubles in importing data from Mozzarellas tools. I thought about uploading a CSV file with the ranking to a Google Sheet Document, but I cannot find a way to do this at regular intervals with manual intervention.0 -
Limit MOZ crawl rate on Shopify or when you don't have access to robots.txt
Hello. I'm wondering if there is a way to control the crawl rate of MOZ on our site. It is hosted on Shopify which does not allow any kind of control over the robots.txt file to add a rule like this: User-Agent: rogerbot Crawl-Delay: 5 Due to this, we get a lot of 430 error codes -mainly on our products- and this certainly would prevent MOZ from getting the full picture of our shop. Can we rely on MOZ's data when critical pages are not being crawled due to 430 errors? Is there any alternative to fix this? Thanks

Site crawl only shows homepage
Hi everyone, A client of us has a quite new website with a lot of URLs. (Google Search Console indicates around 5300.) However, when I execute a site crawl with screaming frog, or a crawl test in MOZ, it only shows me one URL, the homepage. Does somebody have an idea why the other pages of the website are not showing up? Thanks,
