Sitelinks are wrong
-
When I search my website on Google, the sitelinks that I have appear to be wrong. How can I fix this? I have all of my pages optimized.
-
What do you mean by "wrong"? Is Google not showing the site links you want to see? Are they formatted incorrectly? Please explain further or show us an example.

You once were able to "demote" certain pages from being listed in Google's sitelinks, but Search Console has since removed this feature. Google's algorithm does its best to cater your sitelinks to the searcher's intent. Check out their update here for some more insight.
I would first ask if you are ranking #1 for your brand name. If not, that's where I would start.
If you are, the next question I'd ask is have you submitted a sitemap to Search Console?
If you have submitted a sitemap, the next step would be to make sure your navigation and content structure is obvious, clear, and well-organized. I would also work to internally (and externally) link to the pages you'd most like to see in your sitelinks. Google will more than likely take this as a signal to know which of your pages are the most important. I'm sure there are many other factors that go into which sitelinks display, but those are the few that you have the most control over, in my opinion.
Hope this helps!

Can anyone help me figure out these sitelinks?
My company is Squatty Potty (yes, of magic unicorn fame) and I recently redid our website's navigation. We're overhauling it currently to rebuild the whole thing, but what is there should give a good idea of site hierarchy to Google I would think. The funny thing is, when you Google [squatty potty website] we do have sitelinks. But when you Google just [squatty potty] we don't. Any ideas on why sitelinks would appear on one search but not the other? I see they appear with [squatty potty logo] as well. I can't figure out how to get them to appear for my brand name search, any help appreciated!

Issues with Sitelinks
Hey Everyone, I found a couple threads where this was asked, but unfortunately I haven't seen any responses that explain it yet. My issue is with the sitelinks Google is choosing for a section of my website; they're using wrong/lowercase anchor text for a couple of the page titles that isn't anywhere on the page or in the backend that I can find (see screenshot). Any thoughts/reasons as to why they'd be using the lowercase text there? Thanks in advance! David 9r9Pz4w

Google serving wrong page...
Hi, When you Google: "Los Angeles divorce attorney", you will see this site on the 5th page of the SERPS: www.berenjifamilylaw.com/blog/. For some reason, Google is serving the BLOG page as opposed to the homepage. This has been going on now for several weeks. Any tips on how to fix this? Obviously, the Homepage is more relevant and has more links going to it, so not sure why it's happening. Would you just leave it alone? Would you use robots.txt to block Google from crawling the BLOG post page? Thanks.

Wrong Website Showing Up On Knowledge Graph - Car Dealer SEO Question
Hi Everyone, I have a client who has two website platforms, one of them is mandated by the manufacturer and the other is the one we use and is linked up to our Google Plus/Maps/etc. accounts. The one that is manufacturer mandated is showing up on the Google Knowledge graph and this is not ideal for us. Unfortunately, we cannot get rid of the other site because it is mandated. So how do we go about fixing this issue? I Had a few ideas, and I'd like to know if they would work. If you can think of something that's outside of the box, I'd appreciate it. 1.) Put a rel=canonical across the website 2.) Remove all keywords that might trigger it to show up on the knowledge graph from the URL of the non ideal site 3.) Go for a .net or .us domain. Do these kind of domains have less authority and are less likely to show up in a google search? Thanks!

DNS Settings went wrong....
Hi, I'm going to have to give you a little bit of a back story here... In July last year we launched a brand new website, www.turnkeylandlords.co.uk. It was on a new domain. The IT department set it live, and unfortunately messed up the DNS settings so that the site was launched under the wrong domain, smartloan.co.uk. This error was rectified within hours. Unfortunately in those few hours, Google indexed it! I then had to set up webmaster tools for both domains, so I could use the 'remove URLs' tool in there, to remove all the URLs from the smartloan domain. That all worked fine, the Landlords site was probably set back a bit, but we're now achieving some quite good results for it. 2 weeks ago we launched Smartloan as a product, and of course launched the website we've been working on for months... You guessed it! Google is now looking for all those old Landlords pages under Smartloan. My first thought is that we should do 301s. Would that be the best course of action, do you think? Webmaster tools has found 25 of them so far, but I know there are more - the Landlords site launched with about 90 pages... And where should I send the 301's? To the Landlords site, or to the smartloan root? Is there anything else I should do? Thanks for your help! Amelia

What am I doing wrong?
I am trying to do my own SEO for my small photography business. I have been with SEOMOZ for about a week now. My ranking before was about the 4th page for "Houston Wedding Photographer" I have found places to add my link for back-links. I fixed the duplicate page content errors... I had Google re-crawl my site the other day because I felt like I had done a significant job improving the rank. My website has now slipped to the 5th page. What in the hell am I doing wrong? http://www.photogbykelly.com/

How do I get 2 column Google sitelinks instead of one line sitelinks?
Currently, if you search for my site's brand name on Google, we are the top result. However, rather than having 2 columns of sitelinks, there is just one line of 4 sitelinks. When you search for the site's domain (sitename.com), you get the full 2 columns of sitelinks. Are there any strategies for getting the 2 columns on more than just the domain name search? At the very least, I'd like to get 2 columns to appear when you do a brand name search, but it'd be great to get 2 columns of sitelinks for our top search queries as well. Thanks for the advice...
