Traffic inconsistency

Hello
I verified my website on Google Search Console and submitted sitemap a long time ago. I have been getting data for impressions, but no clicks. However, Cpanel shows that people have been visiting my website, but Google Search Console does not. The data do not match up. Would you be able to explain why and what can I do about this?
Also, Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest does not identify keywords on my website.
Kind regards,
Igor -
I agree with Effectdigital - best method is to go to the Acquisition section and look at the data by source and medium - as well as confirming whether you are getting organic traffic, it means you can confirm where you are getting traffic from if it isn't from Google.
In terms of your keywords question I couldn't say for certain why those tools aren't returning keywords but what do you see if you load your site with JavaScript switched off? Sometimes using JavaScript reliant sites can mean that tools like the ones you describe can't quickly pull content to get suggestions. Couple that with not ranking for terms that these tools may have already picked up and that could lead to what you're seeing. For what it's worth if that is the cause I'd consider server side rendering - the easier you can make it for machines to read your content, the better.
Hope that helps.

It shouldn't show EXACTLY the same data! Just so you know, if you are looking at search query data or anything like that, all you are seeing is Search Console's data which has been 'piped' into GA with no modifications. You need to look at separate stats like sessions, users and / or page views under "Acquisition" to see GA's 'own' data (which is not from GSC)
Obviously if you look at the GSC data in GA, it will be the same as on GSC, as it's literally copy-pasted over. Don't get a false sense of security from that, it corroborates nothing
You need to see if under acquisition, you have any sessions from Google. If you do, then GSC's click data is obviously wrong and cannot be relied upon. Try splitting by default channel grouping, source, medium, or source/medium

I have just set up Google Analytics and it shows the same data as Google Search Console. The website is 3 months old and considering that I am new to SEO I would assume that people are just not clicking on it.
Thank you for your response!I have one more problem that I have been pondering about and I would appreciate if you could help me with it too. Why SEO tool like Ubersuggest or Google Key Word planner does not recognise keywords on my website? There are quite a few of them on two pages of the website.
Thank you!

Omg I haven't seen AWStats in years good on you for knowing what it is and that it even exists!
Your traffic figures though, don't prove that the hits are coming 'from' Google. So Google Search Console could be right (maybe those visits aren't from Google)
Search Console only shows your Google clicks (NOT visits), nothing else. It's data from Google's end, it just means people aren't clicking on your search results although they are sometimes seeing them (maybe they are bland and uncompelling)
Even clicks don't = traffic. Errors can happen between the click and the site loading which mean that a click isn't necessarily traffic. Google's data in this area can sometimes be sampled, so you could be right that GSC is wrong - but I wouldn't say it's overly likely (especially since it's data direct from Google)
You can get traffic from Google without getting any users visiting from Google, e.g: if you are visited by Googlebot. Just because Google is indexing you, that doesn't mean users 'from' Google are visiting you
Analytics may have better data for you, if you have Google Analytics installed 'properly'

Our Sites Organic Traffic Went Down Significantly After The June Core Algorithm Update, What Can I Do?
After the June Core Algorithim Update, the site suffered a loss of about 30-35% of traffic. My suggestions to try to get traffic back up have been to add metadata (since the majority of our content is lacking it), as well ask linking if possible, adding keywords to alt images, expanding and adding content as it's thin content wise. I know that from a technical standpoint there are a lot of fixes we can implement, but I do not want to suggest anything as we are onboarding an SEO agency soon. Last week, I saw that traffic for the site went back to "normal" for one day and then saw a dip of 30% the next day. Despite my efforts, traffic has been up and down, but the majority of organic traffic has dipped overall this month. I have been told by my company that I am not doing a good job of getting numbers back up, and have been given a warning stating that I need to increase traffic by 25% by the end of the month and keep it steady, or else. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it realistic and/or possible to reach that goal?

Bing & Yahoo Traffic
Traffic to my three sites from Bing and Yahoo has been declining over the past year. Meanwhile traffic from Google has been increasing. A year ago Bing and Yahoo brought in 34% of my traffic. Now it's only 19%. What can I do to optimise specifically for Bing/Yahoo? I have Webmaster tools. Or could it be that my customers (largely aged 60+) are moving over to Google? Thanks

Drop in Organic Traffic for Homepage and Branded terms but Steady in Rankings and According to WMT.
I am stumped. I have been researching for over two days now. Our homepage organic traffic YoY is down approx. 25%. However, rank has not changed according to Conductor, Bing and Google WMT. Impressions have gone up according to both search engines and we rank now for more keywords in top 3 than we did last year. Both WMTs' present a pretty healthy picture. No insignificant indexing issues, Error URLs & blocked resources are down, daily page crawls are higher than ever, etc. I drilled into Google Analytics from a few different view points. The closest I got to an answer was I saw huge out-liars YoY in browsers and browser versions. We saw significant differences in organic traffic YoY from IE 11, 9 ,10, 8 and 7. Android Browser 31, 32 and Safari 6 and 7. I tested our homepage and search results in all of these, and found no issues. Yet, GA reports 50K+ differences YoY. My only thought is it is perhaps a GA attribution error? And/or browsers defaulting organic traffic to direct or other? Yet, our direct traffic is up but does not correlate with as much as we are down. Any tips on where to look next would be extremely helpful!

Traffic, CTR AND AdSense eCPM Down ... Keyword Rankings Unchanged
Since the last week in March, one of our sites with ~ 1 million high quality page-views per month has had a 25% drop in traffic, CTR drop from 4% to 3%, and AdSense eCPM has dropped from $8 to $5 ... however, all of our keyword rankings have remained unchanged. Also, it is an extremely consistent niche with no drop in relevant searches ... The only thing that we KNOW for sure has changed is the removal of the separator and indentation from the Google search ads to our #1 ranking positions. Could such a simple alteration in the Google search results UI have such a significant impact on our numbers? Is anyone else experiencing a similar revenue drop without a rankings drop in the past two weeks? Besides punching up the titles to make our search results more appealing to users, is there really anything that can be done about Googles new paid results placement? Your thoughts and suggestions are invited. Thanks guys and gals 😉

Website traffic dropped 50% after 14th November same day GWT reported a DNS error
HI there. On 14th November GWT reported a DNS error on my site I checked with my hosts but they said there was nothing wrong. I then went searching for answers and found it happened to lot of people on that specific day see http://moz.com/blog/was-there-a-november-14th-google-update. After that time my website traffic dropped by 50% over the period of a week and is still sitting on 50% of what it was. I then moved the site to VPS, had a few DNS errors - that were the cause of my hosts - so i moved back to shared hosting last weekend and now DNS issues are solved. However the original DNS issue is still unknown I dont know what went wrong and want to rectify issue. I dont sell ads and write original content 4 times a day. I have a miniscule bounce rate, my site speed is okay and i dont stuff keywords in my content although i was careless with my <alt tags="">so they could be considered keyword stuffing (and i have up to 10 images on one post). But i have been removing all the keywords in my images theres over 3000 posts so its taking time). My impressions have dropped from 10,000 a day to 2,500 and I have no idea why.</alt> My website has been building traffic consistently for the last 2 years. Only now has it crashed a bit. Have you any advice on what I can do to solve this problem or rather find the cause of the issue. Im not a pro seo person and do this blog in my free time so am not an expert on data analyzing etc.... thanks alot

A client asked: "Are you guys aware of any recent changes to Google noquery traffic? I am seeing some chatter around this." Is he referring to "not provided" traffic?
I'm not sure what my client means by this question. I assume he's talking about "not provided" traffic. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks for reading!

My Site PR lost to PR4 ! I worked as per SEOmoz Suggestion - No Traffic Drop, Organic Search is good and higher than referral or Direct Traffic !
My Site PR5 lost to PR4 ! I worked as per SEOmoz Suggestion - No Traffic Drop, Organic Search is good and higher than referral or Direct Traffic ! What might be the problem ? Nov 29-2012 my site was hacked very badly and google Blacklisted me for the first time and if you see now " it says, Past 90 days nearly 19 times my site was acted as medium to spread virus" Even thought we checked our FTP, Cpanel or Home Directory - Everything seems good. My domain which was hosted - has other domains in the same network and some are porn - those sites are injecting malicious code ! May be that's the reason or please give me some idea how to improve it !

Ranking #1 for decent traffic keywords, but not receiving any traffic?
A site I work on is ranked number 1 for a few keywords. To see how much a keyword is searched per month I rely on Google Adwords Keyword tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal). Using this tool I see that the keyword receives 880 local monthly searches and another keyword they rank #1 for receives 1300 local monthly searches. To me these keywords are not the biggest as far as traffic but they are not small by any means. Now here is the issue. Like mentioned above, the site nmber 1 for multiple keywords. They have been ranked number 1 for these keywords for months. Looking in analytics the other day I notice that on a month to month basis both of these keywords are getting 1, or 2 visits. This past month (October) one of the keywords did not receive ANY visits, and that is being ranked #1 for a 1300 monthly searched keyword. It just doesn’t make sense. I would imagine getting at least 100 or so visits a month from these search terms. Could someone please help me understand this a little bit better?
