Is there any speed checker to check your page load time on localhost so that bandwith does not affect the result?

Preferably I'd like one that lists critical issuse or solutions that can be improved.

Press F12 while in IE
select the network tab

This with tell you time of each step

Google page speed testing failures

When running our domain through google's page speed insights I'm getting the error message 'An error occurred while fetching or analyzing the page' at around 65% load. I'm concerned it's affecting our organic rankings. The domain is https://www.scottscastles.com/ When testing in https://testmysite.withgoogle.com/ it is also failing at around 70% with the message 'It's taking longer than expected. You can leave this tab open and check back in a little while. We'll have your results soon.' but the results never come. I've tried testing on a few different speed testing sites without failures (https://tools.pingdom.com, https://gtmetrix.com, https://www.webpagetest.org and a few others). We’re stumped as everything appears correct and was working but now isn't. Is this Google or us, or a combination of the two? Any help greatly appreciated!

How can I Improve Loading Speed? - Parker Dubrule Lawyers

Parker Dubrule Lawyers' website at parkerdubrulelawyers.com seemed to be loading quite slow this morning (>5 Seconds). I added a lazyload plugin, minified JS and CSS, and ensured that the images were optimized---all of this seemed to help and brough it down to under 2 seconds. We are looking at more reliable hosting options for our clients---ones that are inherently faster possibly without these plugins being added to the mix. Does anyone have insight on a safe, secure, and fast hosting/server option to enhance the experience from the get go? All of the websites that we build are in Worpress. Your help is much appreciated! Page Speed or Size?

Hi everyone. I have a client who really wants to add a 1min html5 video to the background of their homepage. I have managed to reduce the size of the video to 20MB and I have tested the page in pingdom. The results are 1.85 s to load, and weighed in at 21.2 MB. My question is does Google factor page load speed or size in it's ranking factors? I am also mindful of the negative effect this could have on bounce rate. Thanks.

Mozbar sees the 301, but no other header checker does

Ok, why does Mozbar see this 301 redirect, but no other checker can? Original URL: http://www.horizon-bcbsnj.com Current URL: http://www.horizonblue.com/ The dev company uses meta refreshes set to zero (html), javascript redirects (randomly), and 301 redirects (asp) that can't be verified with any other header cheker other than Mozbar. Is mozbar correct and the other checkers wrong? Or is mozbar "special" and the search engine bots do not see the 301 at all just like Rexswain, internetmarketingninjas, SEObook, webconfs, etc don't recognize the 301 either? They all say 200 OK.

hi, i have a real problem on my site with speed www.in2town.co.uk and one of the problems is from going from section to section, so for example from home page to the travel section. i would like to know how i can time the time it takes from section to section and what tools i need.
