How can I learn what are the most popular keyword phrases?
-
I have done a lot of research on Google AdSense (e.g. how to get started, best practices, how much money can be made, custom channels). I want to write a blog post based on my research, but my question is -- how can I learn what are the most common questions about Google AdSense or Internet advertising from a keyword search perspective?
For example, are more people searching for "How to make money with AdSense" vs "How to make money with Internet advertising" vs "How to make money with a website"?
How do I know which phrase is searched most?
It seems to me that I should make my page title, URL, H1, etc. exactly match (or as close as possible within proper grammar) the question that is most often searched.
Thanks everyone!

Within Adwords you can do a search for traffic on each of those terms. You can also do it within SEOMOZ's keyword research tool. This will give you an exact match figure for monthly search for global and local.
Then when you work through the writing the blog, you can use the item that is most searched as the title and heading and you can use some of the other terms within the article that are searched in 2nd and 3rd place, in the main content of the article, so that the articloe doesn't look like you are keyword stuffing.
Good luck. Hope this helps..

Here is a link to Google Keyword research tool. Be sure to check the box on the left to see [exact] search volume: https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer?__c=1000000000&__u=1000000000&ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_IDEAS
Also, I do not recommend making your title, URL, and H1 exact because that does not look natural (Panda update). I do recommend including them but with variations, build your site for your users not for the search engine spiders.

Keyword Ranking
I would like to understand how to search for all instances where Johansens is on the 1st page of Google (US/UK) for any keywords that have Portugal, Lisbon or Algarve in them i.e. "luxury hotels portugal". Is there an easy/automated way to do such a search? Many thanks for your support, Doug

Keywords with different spelling depending on country.
Hello, My product sells in both USA and UK, childrens sleepwear. I am not quite sure whether my onsite optimisation should be for "pajamas" or "pyjamas", or do I need both terms? Can someone please advise the best option? Thanks Astrid

SEO beginner- How to decide what keyword to go after?
I started a website called Think and Grow Entrepreneur. I'm not sure where to start with Keywords and which ones to go after. Should I input the same keywords over and over my blog to rank in those or should I look at every post as a single entity and try to rank different keywords in each blog. Ideally I would like to rank for the keyword Entrepreneur, but there are already very powerful companies with the same keyword. How should I go about this situation? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

SeoMoz Keyword Tool
Hello All, Ive been using the SeoMoz Keyword tool but have a quick question. Im working on a newer site with a DA according to OSE of 35. Im combing through keywords to rank. Although competition is very high I have found a few holes. According to the Keyword tool in SeoMoz a few keywords Im looking at are roughly 50%. Would it be to difficult to rank for this type of term? Ive been using a combination of Google Trends, Adwords keyword tool, and ubersuggest, to try and see whats available. Does anyone use different tools? Thank you

What do broad match keywords represent?
Exact match is perfectly easy for me to get my head around - broad match, not so much! Take the phrase, "removing blueberry stains." Is the broad match data for this that I'm seeing in the Google keyword tool for searches that involve any of these particular words, in any phrase, in any order - just so long as they're all there? Any help with this concept would be much appreciated.

Keywords for multi service business?
New to this so bear with, I am a TV aerial, satellite, CCTV, Door entry, Access Control, Telephone repair engineer. I have one seperate page for each of the installations I carry out as well as the basic home, about, areas, faqs and so on. My question is do i have one key phrase for each of the services i cover or do i just relate all the keywords from that service into the keywords tag ie, META name=keywords content="Digial aerials Stockport, digital aerials Manchester, aerials Stockport, aerials Manchester, aerial repairs Stockport, aerial repairs Manchester, digital, aerial,tv,tv aerials Manchester,tv aerials Stockport, arials, arial, aerial installer, aerial installations, aeril installation,Stockport,Manchester ,"> That is what i have fro Tv aerial installation, Should i make landing pages for each phrase for each service or stick to one page? www.redvalecommunications.co.uk is the site if you want to take a look thanks in advance
