I have a GoDaddy website and have multiple homepages

I have GoDaddy website builder and a new website http://ecuadorvisapros.com and I notices through your crawl test that there are 3 home pages http://ecuadorvisapros with a 302 temporary redirect, http://www.ecuadorvisapros.com/ with no redirect and http://www.ecuadorvisapros/home.html. GoDaddy says there is only one home page. Is this going to kill my chances of having a successful website and can this be fixed? Or can it. I actually went with the SEO version thinking it would be better, but it wants to auto change my settings that I worked so hard at with your sites help.
Please keep it simple, I am a novice although I have had websites in the past I know more about the what's than the how's of websites.

Thank you I think you have answered my question. It looks like my only option now is start a new website using WordPress. If I continue with my current website I will be throwing link money down the toilet. What is really sad is that I bought the SEO version of the website thinking it would give me more options.

You are encountering something that happens from time to time with communication about websites - as far as GoDaddy is concerned, there is only one "page" - there is only one document that is your home page - but the page has several different URLs, which is what's causing Google and Moz Tools to recognize it as several different pages. It's more of a terminology thing than anything (but a sarcastic response is never in good taste, not the best customer service there)!
As far as website content management systems go, I always recommend WordPress. It's very customizable, but there are many great out-of-the-box templates that work well for SEO too. There are several great plugins for WordPress that help make SEO changes easier - two good ones are WordPress SEO by Yoast and the All-in-One SEO pack. If you want to change your website's hosting as well, do a bit of research - many hosting companies will help you with step-by-step instructions for moving your site and installing WordPress.

I called GoDaddy again and they continue to tell me there is only one homepage and no redirects and that there is no way to change the website. I also got a sarcastic response saying I needed to build my own website and host it on a private server. I still trust MozPro crawlers and Google more than Godaddy. At this point I don't think even someone with developer skills can make these changes though I may be wrong. Is there a simple website design program like GoDaddy that I can use and that is SEO friendly? I hate to switch at this point but what I do now will reflect in the future. It's frustrating not knowing what can be changed.

Jaume is correct that the best solution would be to 1.) change that 302 redirect to a 301 (which would let Google know that the redirect is permanent, rather than temporary) and 2.) Also use a 301 redirect to redirect http://www.ecuadorvisapros.com/home.html to http://www.ecuadorvisapros.com. http://www.edcuadorvisapros.com is the home page that you want. However, this can be difficult to do if you don't have developer experience, and how easy it is to do also depends on the website system you're using. If you don't want to mess with redirects, or can't get the page redirecting properly, you will want to use the canonical tag instead. In the section of http://www.ecuadorvisapros.com/home.html, put the tag . This will let Google know which version of the page is the "official" version. I am not sure what or where that is. I have limited access to what's inside the GoDaddy website. I will try and contact GoDaddy again. Also I am concerned with the 302 redirect. I hear that it will not pass link juice. Is this a common problem with Godaddy websites and how might I fix it? I hate to scrap them due to the work I have already put in.

Multiple CMS on one website / domain & SEO
For a client we would like to work with a content hub, but their website is build on a custom CMS so we are limited in our options and if we aks their web developers they ask crazy prices to help us. So now we have the idea to build the content hub with wordpress and implement it next to their current CMS. for example on www.website.com/contenthub/ . As far as i know this is technically possible and there are no negative effects regarding SEO as long as we link the two sitemaps together. Am i right or am i missing something here?

Homepage not indexed - seems to defy explanation
Hey folks Hoping to get some more eyes on a specific problem I am seeing with a clients site. Site: http:www.ukjuicers.com We have checked everything we can think of and the usual suspects here are not present: Canonical URL is in place Site is shown as indexed in search console No Crawl, DNS, Connectivity or server errors No robots.txt blocking - verified in search console No robots meta tags or directives Fetch as Google works Fetch & render works site command returns all other pages info command does not return the homepage homepage is cached and cache has been updated since this issue started: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:www.ukjuicers.com homepage is indexed in yahoo and Bing all variations redirect to the www.ukjuicers.com domain (.co.uk, .com, www, sans www etc) The only issue I found after some extensive digging was some issues with the HTTP and HTTPS versions of the site both being available and both specifying the canonical version as themselves. So, http site used canonicals with http and https site used canonicals with https. So, a conflict there with the canonical exacerbating the problem it is there to solve. The HTTPS site is not indexed though and we have set this up in webmaster tools and now the web developer has set redirects to ensure all versions even the https now 301 redirect to the http://www.ukjuicers.com page so these canonical issues have been ironed out. But... it's still not indexing the homepage. The practical implications of this are quite scary - the site used to be somewhere between 1st and 4th for keywords like 'juicers', 'juicer' etc. Now they are bottom of page 1 or top of page 2 with an internal page. They were jostling with the big boys (amazon, argos, john lewis etc) but now they are right at the bottom of the second page. It's a strange one - i have seen all manor of technical problems over the years but this one seems to defy sensible explanation. The next step is to do a full technical SEO audit of the site but I am always of the opinion that with many eyes all bugs are shallow so if anyone has any input or experience with odd indexation problems like this would love to get your input. How To Cleanup the Google Index After a Website Has Been HACKED
We have a client whose website was hacked, and some troll created thousands of viagra pages, which were all indexed by Google. See the screenshot for an example. The site has been cleaned up completely, but I wanted to know if anyone can weigh in on how we can cleanup the Google index. Are there extra steps we should take? H1 Tag as Logo on the Homepage.
So I was working on a Genesis theme website where they have the H1 Tag as the Logo on the homepage. I wanted this changed because I always use my H1 tag to include a keyword I want to rank for. I was told by the Genesis Forum Manager that Yoast said the Logo should be the H1 tag on the homepage. (Yoast has a WP SEO Plugin that is very popular) That makes no sense to me, so I was looking for Opinions. Thanks,

Bing rank drop off for multiple sites
Hi Mozzers, Seeing some wacky stuff going on on some sites I manage. In more than a few, the ranking on bing has dropped basically overnight from page one spots to not being found on the first 100 positions. Anyone else seeing similar results? Some of the sites are fairly new, some have been around for ages, some are wordpress, some are not. I've been searching for some news of a big change on bing, but keep reading about bing dropping the thin sites during black friday. In one example, I had the site set up in BWT for a while, and had a look at the data. The reports show that the pages are crawled, the index summary shows pages indexed, and there seems to be no crawl errors, but rankings are absolutely gone. Also, I can't see the sites in bing if I search "site:example.com" in bing. Here's 2 examples, the first would make sense since it's pretty thin as I havent added much content yet: http://homewindowtint.org but this one doesn't make sense to me. Sure there's a few errors, but to be dropped like a rock seems weird http://www.ahmedandsukaram.com

What is the best website structure for SEO?
I've been on SEOmoz for about 1 month now and everyone says that depending on the type of business you should build up your website structure for SEO as 1st step. I have a new client click here ( www version doesn't work)... some bugs we are fixing it now. We are almost finished with the design & layout. 2nd question have been running though my head. 1. What would the best url category for the shop be /products/ - current url cat ex: /products/door-handles.html 2. What would you use for the main menu as section for getting the most out of SEO. Personally i am thinking of making 2-3 main categories on the left a section where i can add content to it (3-4 paragraphs... images maybe a video).So the main page focuses on the domain name more and the rest of the sections would focus on specific keywords, this why I avoid cannibalization. Main keyword target is "door handles" Any suggestions would be appreciated.
