SEO for business owners course link?
-
Hi, something I saw a few weeks back.. something Rand was doing titled something like 'SEO for business owners'?
Could someone be so kind as to post the link (I'm sure i didn't imagine this!) Thanks
-
Sure thing! Glad that was it.
-
Hi Matt, yes that's it! ..it was the Skillshare course. Great, many thanks!
-
Hi Greg! There's a handful of things that could be—as you can imagine, that's a subject Rand speaks on pretty frequently.
I'm thinking you may be looking for this Skillshare course or this Whiteboard Friday. Do either of those look like it?
-
I'm sure it was here on Moz (may have been in a Moz email). It was around New Year time if that helps. Rand (and photo of him on page) saying something like SEO for business owners or entrepreneurs. maybe it was a short video series??
-
Hi Greg, where do you think you read about the course?

Tools to see how many times a domain has been bought and sold? Domain Owner History?
Hi Folks! I'm in the process of trying to buy a domain off someone who isn't really using it for much other than a single anding page for his defunct company. The current ower is putting a massively high price on the domain (five figures) which is WAY more than what any regular buyer would value it at. He claims he paid that price several years ago when he bought it. I don't believe him, and I feel he's just using that as an excuse to value his domain very highly. Does anyone know of any tools I could use to help me see how many times the domain has changed owners? I have a sneaking suspicion that he is the original owner, but I have no way to tell. It currently has privacy on it so I can't tell much by looking at whois.sc or using my subscription to whorush.com. Any one have any other ideas for me?

Doing SEO when using location is not an option
When doing SEO for a company that does not have a specific location (they are an online-only retailer), and doesn't want their manufacturing location given, what is some advice on other great SEO tactics that will help counter the disadvantages of not using anything location-related (Google Places, directory submissions, etc). Obviously backlinking and on-page optimization, but in regards to the fact that Google is becoming more and more encouraging of sites that are location-optimized and listed in many records such as Places, Yelp, directories, etc., does anyone have any advice?

Online SEO staff Tests
Hi, I've got a number of staff in the office that I am trying to get to learn SEO. I want to be able to test them on their ability and have already set them the SEOMOZ test: http://www.seomoz.org/seo-expert-quiz . Does anyone know of any other decent online SEO tests I can set them - I haven't really got the time to develop a test myself, so I am looking for some pre-build online testing. Thanks
