I can't login to the Mozbar in Chrome. Just takes me to the homepage?
-
So, every time I press log in on the Mozbar, it takes me to the Moz home page which I'm already logged in to but there is no change on the status of the Mozbar?
What should I do to remedy this?
Thanks!

We've experienced this issue in the past. Uninstalling the toolbar and reinstalling seemed to fix the problem for us. Otherwise, Kristina provided very detailed and helpful instructions that I am sure will help solve your problem!

Hi there - Kristina from Moz's Help Team here
Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear about the troubles with your MozBar. We've been seeing reports from other customers with the tool, as well, and have updated our Health Page to reflect the known issues we're seeing with the tool at this time.
There's a couple of steps we've seen work for others that might help you with your issue at this time. Can you please attempt these steps on your side and let us know if you're still seeing issues?
- Un-install your MozBar plugin. I've taken a quick video here for you on how to find the tool in your extension list in Chrome.
- Un-install and re-install Chrome.
- Turn off any additional plugins that could be interfering with MozBar
- Clear all cache and cookie data related to moz.com
- Re-install your MozBar plugin here.
- Sign into your Moz account here and the MozBar.
Clearing your cache and cookies of all Moz related data is a very important step since we've recently required authentication for the toolbar to function properly. If you are still having issues after that it means the problem is coming from our side and we'll have to wait for an update from our MozBar team.
Sending over the below information to help@moz.com that we can provide to our developers would be a huge help in their efforts on diagnosing the issue, so if the above steps don't work for you, can you please perform the following steps and send over this screenshot to us?
- Click on this icon in the upper right corner of Chrome - http://www.screencast.com/t/HUj3m4DGuoqK
- Move the cursor over 'More Tools' and then click on 'Developer Tools' -http://www.screencast.com/t/B7SIh7qiPj
- Click into the 'Console' tab - http://www.screencast.com/t/itHrYuuq
- Make sure MozBar is running and then refresh the page if needed.
- Take a screenshot of the results (the entire window is recommended) and send that to us.
- What version of MozBar are you running?
- What is your OS version?
Thank you so much for your help, and for your patience while we work to resolve these issues. I look forward to hearing back from you about the above.
-Kristina

Hi guys,
Appreciate the help, the problem still persists. It's bizarre. The Mozbar almost isn't recognising the fact I'm logged in.
Again, any help is really appreciate.

Hi Ikkie,
The original post says that Markele is already logged in:
"it takes me to the Moz home page which I'm already logged in to "
-
Hi Markerle,
Yes it redirect you to the home page or Moz login page. Just logged in you Moz account through Moz site and then refresh your browsing site. It will update your login with plugin automatically.
Hope it will help

Just to add to this, I have downloaded the plugin to see if I could replicate/help on this. It logged me in straight away. However I logged out through the toolbar and it kept me logged in. So I seem to have the complete opposite of your issue.

80% Spam Score!! Can Any One Help?
I have a question about the Spam Score for my website .
Moz Bar | | PoppyP
I have run a Spam Score for https://www.poppyporter.co.uk
It has come back with an 80% score because there are 4 links that are apparently from my poppyporter.com domain each with a 69% spam score.
This poppyporter.com domain is parked and I have no idea why there are links from it. There are no pages there and there never have been, I've never used the poppyporter.com domain only poppyporter.co.uk.
I don't understand why there are links there and why they are making my Spam Score so high.
Will they affect my site's SEO? Do I need to worry about them? If so how do I get rid of them?
Can you help?
Thanks very much Poppy1 -
Limit MOZ crawl rate on Shopify or when you don't have access to robots.txt
Hello. I'm wondering if there is a way to control the crawl rate of MOZ on our site. It is hosted on Shopify which does not allow any kind of control over the robots.txt file to add a rule like this: User-Agent: rogerbot Crawl-Delay: 5 Due to this, we get a lot of 430 error codes -mainly on our products- and this certainly would prevent MOZ from getting the full picture of our shop. Can we rely on MOZ's data when critical pages are not being crawled due to 430 errors? Is there any alternative to fix this? Thanks

Am I the only one seeing the Moz's points ranking with mixed rankings?
Hello everyone. It's been several weeks since the problem persists, Here: https://moz.com/community/users

There are rankings that are incorrect and some users that have the same ranking than other users. I've attached some pics. GR 25603b49292acd5d68f7dd6a43977f94 6d8fea557f6ed2de23466f6c7df850eb0 -
How can I find duplicate pages from a Moz Crawl?
We have many duplicate pages that show up on the Moz Crawl, and we're trying to fix these but it's very difficult because I can't see a way to isolate the code where the duplicate is found. For instance, http://experiencemission.org/immersion/ is one of our main pages, and the crawl shows one duplicate of http://experiencemission.org/immersion. It appears that one of our staff manually edited the source code in one of our pages but forgot the trailing slash. This would be an easy fix but the problem is that this page is linked to internally on our website 2423 times, so it's next to impossible to find the code that is incorrect. We have many other pages with this same basic problem. We know we have duplicates, but it's next to impossible to isolate them. So my question is this: When viewing the Moz Crawl data is there any way to see where a specific duplicate page link is located on our website? Thanks for any and all help!

Getting 'Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible' error msg when trying to run On-Page Grader
I just signed up for MOZ Pro for the first time today. Tried to run the 'on-page grader' tool on some of my pages but I'm getting a 'Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible' error msg. I have verified against the robot.txt file that the pages are NOT blocking any crawlers. Can anybody help?

Can the Moz tool identify variations of a Chinese language branded keyword?
We've recently started a trial of the Moz Pro service and are tracking a selection of keywords. Our primary band / product name is 功夫英语(Kungfu English), so we've set a rule that any keywords containing those four Chinese characters (功夫英语) should be marked as a branded keyword. However, in the "Non-Paid Keywords Sending Search Visits" section of our traffic report, we see a few variations on our brand name that are not being marked as branded keywords. (See attached Images). Based on our rules, shouldn't these variations also be marked as branded keywords without our needing to manually add them as such? Or have I misunderstood the intent of this rule? For the English text, the brand rule about words containing "kungfuenglish" seems to have resulted in all of "www.kungfuenglish.com", "http://www.kungfuenglish.com", and kungfuenglish being labelled as branded keywords. However, I'm not seeing the same sort of result with variations on the Chinese keyword, 功夫英语. KedTi1D.png z5bcUIt.png

Moz "Crawl Diagnostics" doesn't respect robots.txt
Hello, I've just had a new website crawled by the Moz bot. It's come back with thousands of errors saying things like: Duplicate content Overly dynamic URLs Duplicate Page Titles The duplicate content & URLs it's found are all blocked in the robots.txt so why am I seeing these errors?
Moz Bar | | Vitalized
Here's an example of some of the robots.txt that blocks things like dynamic URLs and directories (which Moz bot ignored): Disallow: /?mode=
Disallow: /?limit=
Disallow: /?dir=
Disallow: /?p=*&
Disallow: /?SID=
Disallow: /reviews/
Disallow: /home/ Many thanks for any info on this issue.0
