Top tweet and top media tweet

Twitter says:
- Top Tweet: Tweet that received the highest number of impressions
- Top media Tweet: Tweet with photo, video, or Vine that received the highest number of impressions
It's impressions that count and the only difference is whether or not media is attached.

If my top tweet for a month has the most impressions but no media it is the top tweet. Another tweet that has media is then the top media tweet. That makes sense and I've seen it in my Twitter analytics.

I'm confused when my top tweet is one with media but it is somehow not also showing as the top media tweet. Surely it should be? how can another tweet with media and a lower impressions count be the top media tweet when the top tweet is one with media and a higher impressions count.

Hi Our company has a Facebook page - it's pretty outdated and barely used. I want to change that, but wondered if anyone had any advice on how to start it up again? Greetings from OS grid reference SE404481 🙂 I really like the graph on slide 16 of this presentation:http://www.slideshare.net/stevelatham/social-media-strategy-spur-interactive I would like to replicate this but I would like to know if any SEOMOZ member could recommend a tool that can monistor sentiments eg positive & negative commments about a brand across different social media platforms. Social Media Plugins advice - Google+ Pages - what is best for SEO?

I'm seeking some social media plugin advice, in relation to SEO. This may not be possible to answer yet, or ever? But it could be worth a discussion. As far as i can see, there are two main forms of plugins (taking facebook as an example): 1 that directly connects a user to your brand page on said platform (eg like us on facebook) 1 that allows a user to 'like', 'share', 'recommend' the page that you are on as a sign of respect and/or sharing content For a home page, I am confused as to which one to use, without filling out the whole page with plugins. One objective is to increase fan numbers, the other is to increase content sharing, and possibly SEO? I've noticed that Google has been returning some personalised results based on mine, or my google+ connections +1's. So to the question... Do you think having more fans on the new Google Pages for business accounts will improve SEO to the same, if not higher weighting than a +1 does? and therefore is it more important to get more brand page followers, or +1's of the homepage?

What is more important, tweets/shares or traditional link building?

SMM has a presence that is just growing and growing. I'm hearing all these back and forth talks about how tweets/shares are influencing rankings more than traditional link building would. If so, would this be a short term ranking improvement, long term? What percentage would you say SMM (ranking factor) has when ranking a website in the SERPS.
