PA 1 and DA 1, the website is not new

Hi everyone!
I have a website (ponturipariuri.pro), few years old. The PA and DA used to be around 25-35 but now it shows me 1 for both PA and DA. I just discovered it and I do not understand why.
Take a look at the image I attached here. There was no spam on my website. Google still shows my website on the first page for many keywords.

Hey Rosie,
Most new sites and links will be indexed by our spiders and available in Mozscape and Open Site Explorer within 60 days, but some take even longer for a variety of reasons, including the crawl-ability of sites, the amount and quality of inbound links to them, and the depth of pages in subdirectories. The index is based on a breadth-first approach, starting at the top of a site's hierarchy and moving down from there. We do not crawl every link, but higher quality links. As your site is fairly new, I wouldn't worry yet
. On our next index (around the end of March) you should expect to see your links coming in.You also might want to check to see if we have indexed the pages linking to your site. You'll also want to make sure that we aren't blocked from crawling the site. If our web crawlers are blocked from crawling certain pages (i.e., with "noindex" or Robots.txt), they may not be included in the index.

Hi Eli,
Can I chip in and ask for your help on my website www.rosieandtherecipes.com please? It's a fairly new website (less than 2 months old) but it's getting 10k+ visits a month (due to a popular instagram) and I have plenty of inbound links, none of which are showing, I've listed a few examples below but there are more:
Appreciate your guidance. My website is made on Squarespace and in a blog format, I've checked index'ing and it's working well (ranking 2nd on google page 1). Just wondering why my DA score is still at 1 and no links have been discovered?

It shouldn't do, especially if nothing has majorly changed with your website.
Just because we haven't index your website/links in our latest index, doesn't mean that they don't exist or that Google hasn't found them. Our index is currently only about 30% the size of Google's, so search engines take into account many more factors when they actually select the order of the results.

The links are coming from the same sites, but there are only 10% of them so it's really strange. Anyways.
Will this affect my positions in Google search?

It's virtually impossible to pinpoint exactly how we discovered it. It also depends hugely on the quality of the links as opposed to the quantity of the links.

Ok, that's fine. But how did MOZ find my second website (DA 13) since it has not even 10% of the number of links that the first site has. And those 10% were also available for the first site.

We are not stating your website is 'bad' or 'weak' by giving it a DA of 1. It's just that we have not discovered it in our latest crawl, as mentioned above.

On the 5th February we released our latest index. Your website was not picked up in our latest index hence why you now have a PA/DA of 1.
It just means that we have not crawled your website in our latest index. We do not crawl EVERY website. If we crawl your site. Domain Authority is a score (on a 100-point scale) developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engines, we are not saying your DA is actually 1, it's just we have not discovered your site in our latest Index.
If we discover your site during our next crawl, you may well indeed regain your former metrics!
As mentioned above, we only crawl a percentage of what Google crawls so they should have no problem finding your site

More than that, I have another website, few months old and it has DA 13, altough I didn't work on SEO and it is less stronger than the affected one. How can this be explained?

I think I don't get it. Two weeks ago the PA and DA were very good, now it is 1. The website is not good anymore? I have a lot of links on a lot of strong websites. The trust flow just became higher this year. I invested a lot in SEO, a lot of links and advertorials. What can I do now? It's really strange that my competitors kept their PA and DA.
I have few more questions:
What should I do now? I'm starting from zero or what? My site is not good anymore?
Will this affect my position in Google search?
Will I get back my old PA and DA?

On the 5th February we released our latest index, which included new sites/pages being indexed by us and subsequently other sites/pages dropping out of our index.
A PA/DA of 1 will mean that your site/pages are currently not in our index. This can happen for a number of reasons, such as we haven't found any external links to the site, the external links we've found aren't considered very valuable to our index, the pages of the site we've found aren't considered very valuable, the site is blocking our crawler or the site is fairly new. In your case, it is most likely a lack of links to the site / low quality links.
For some more in-depth info, here's how we compile our index:
- We grab the most recent index.
- We take the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank (with a fixed limit on some of the larger domains).
- We start crawling from the top down until we've crawled 90,000,000,000 pages (which is about 35% the amount in Google's index).
So, if the site is not linked to by one of these seed URLs (or one of the URLs linked to by them in the next update) then it won't show up in our index.
The best course of action going forward would be to continue to gather and build and encourage high quality links, from high authority websites, this will encourage our crawler (and other crawlers) back to your site and ensure we get a fresh picture during our next update -which is scheduled for around March 29th.

As you may know by now, the brand-new Link Explorer tool is primed to replace Open Site Explorer as Moz’s link building and analysis tool. The Link Explorer project is the result of an incredible amount of perseverance and hard work by the team, and we’re proud to be able to finally share it with you — we know it’s going to revolutionize how you approach link building and make your job easier. You can read more about the tool here in Sarah Bird’s announcement post. Because Link Explorer improves on almost every aspect of Open Site Explorer, the metrics have improved, too. That means you’re likely going to see some Domain Authority and Page Authority discrepancies between OSE’s index and Link Explorer’s index. We definitely suggest you use the new DA/PA from Link Explorer, as they’re more accurate and refresh daily rather than monthly, as was the case with OSE’s index. However, we also realize that many of you use these metrics to report to your clients and colleagues, and a sudden change or fluctuation could potentially make your job harder. Which DA is the real DA? The new DA is based on a much larger index that has many improvements, several of which are designed to make the index more like Google’s than ever before. You should consider moving towards the new DA (and the old DA won’t be updated after April 26th 2018, so the sooner the better). While there will be fluctuations as we improve the model and add features to the index, we expect it to remain largely stable and to be a far more accurate picture of a site’s authority according to how it’s seen by Google. Why is Link Explorer’s DA/PA considered better than OSE’s, and which should I trust? The larger link index with improved crawl selection allows us to produce a stronger model that includes a much larger proportion of the web. That being said, DA and PA should always be considered in the context of your competitors. A drop in PA or DA relative to the old OSE is of little concern if your competitors saw similar movement. Is Domain Authority/Page Authority an absolute score or a relative one? Both DA and PA are relative to the Internet as a whole. If Facebook acquired a billion new links, everyone’s PA and DA would drop relative to Facebook. Because of this, it’s always best to look at PA and DA in comparison to your competitors. What does a drop/raise in DA mean in Link Explorer vs OSE? How can I explain this to my clients when I’m reporting it? DA and PA should always be considered in the context of your competitors. A drop or raise in PA or DA relative to the old OSE is of little concern if your competitors saw similar movement. Reporting that your site has moved from a DA of 45 to a DA of 42 doesn’t tell the whole story, but reporting that your site has a DA of 42 while your main competitor moved from a 43 to a 37 shows that, relative to the sites you’re competing against in the SERPs, your site has significantly more authority and ranking power. What’s happening to MozTrust and MozRank and why, and what should I replace those with? The improvements to our DA/PA and Spam Score metrics now now account for more important nuances in helping you determine one site’s ability to rank higher than another. Because they no longer correlate with Google’s ranking model as well as they used to, MozRank and MozTrust are being deprecated for better metrics. Users should rely on Page Authority, Domain Authority, and Spam Score to determine the importance and quality of pages, domains, and links. I have historical data I use to help my clients benchmark their progress. What do I do now that DA is calculated differently? You should annotate any KPI changes referencing the change in DA and PA. However, most importantly, you should compare those changes to your competitors, as this will best show how strong your site’s authority is relative to the sites you’re competing against in the SERPs. We take updating our metrics very seriously, and our last major update to the model was 7 years ago. Users of Domain Authority and Page Authority can expect us to continue to produce steady, reliable metrics for the long haul, and only make changes to these metrics when we believe the benefits dramatically outweigh the stability of the metric. Crawl Errors on a Wordpress Website
I am getting a 902 error, "Network Errors Prevented Crawler from Contacting Server" when requesting a site crawl on my wordpress website, https://www.systemoneservices.com. I think the error may be related to site speed and caching, but request a second opinion and potential solutions. Thanks, Rich

Guys and Girls, I'm having a weird issue in one of my sites , thing is the site had DA 11 in July and however when check on September Site is having 26 without me doing any type of link building and there are no new posts for this month as well. When checked using open site explorer there are no backlinks indexed in their Mozcape index as well. Site moved to https and not showing any Moz DA or PA
Hello Fellow Mozzers, So, I have a client site that we moved from non https to https at the end of 2015. We had decent moz numbers (Da/Pa etc) but now we are only showing a 1 for both of them. Does it usually take time for Moz to carry over the info to the https version or does that process entirely start over? Not sure where to start looking. Cheers D

Campaign shows website links from Https. My site is not https but http:// HELP
When looking at my web campaign, I have inbound links pointing from every page located on my menu from https:// I do not have an https. website in any way. The weird part is that when I click on the link, it is a replica of my homepage, although in text only format. I have attached a picture for reference. Why and how could my top links be coming from this? I do not have any inbound links non https:// from my website Thank you! BNHHc5u

Loving the new OSE integration!
Finally, OSE is now like "integrated" in Moz! And it looks awesome. Not only from a design perspective, but also, I think all the login issues in that past I was having are now solved! Nicely done Moz!
