There is a page where a backlink was added several months ago. The page's link is https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/Leviathan SEO, and the backlink on that page points tohttps://www.leviathanseo.com.
We are having the same issue.

The same with my page Orimo, it's strange.

I am also facing the same issue with my website https://www.travelmykashmir.com . When checking in Moz Link explorer it shows my internal link graph as zero. But when i checked my competitor's site it shows the data. I am using yoast plugin , on WP dashboard there are internal links. Any suggestions!

Hello,
Very recently, I got a link-building job for https://bluehaven.com.au website. My project manager has asked me to find the competitor's backlink profile and send it to him. I used a paid subscription account and sent the data to my project manager. After a few days, he sent me the same competitors' backlinks data using a different tool, and he wanted to know why the quantity of backlink profiles varies between us. I saw the higher quantity backlink for each competitor and got confused.
I have loved Moz since last 2017 and have been using it sometimes. I recommend that my client send me paid subscription account when my subscription is expired.
I think it's time to add some improvements to MOZ explorer. Would we expect that, please?
Thanks -
@eli-myers I have started trial version of moz pro as few of my project's KPI is to increase DA or the website.
Issues I found with MOZ-
Dotbot is not indexing links even after adding links to Link Tracking list. I found many links, that are indexed in google and appearing in my GSC and Ahrefs. But now showing in Moz. I don't understand how Dotbot is working.
-
Moz is not able to crawl internal linking of my sites 9 out of 10 project are showing 0 internal links.
Please let me know how to invite Moz bot to index backlinks.

@onyeka14 I have the same problem right now and I can't find a solution for it right now. Were you able to? Why does no one answer our problem in this type?

I've been having the same issue with my news website. Ahrefs and Search Console have indexed links but MOZ hasn't.

Hello There,
Thanks for your suggestion but it also not working.

There are many URLs that are not indexing by Moz. And as I understand this one is also a reason for not increasing DA.
Please help me with this.

Hey,
Thanks for writing in and sorry about the trouble!
Newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 1-3 days, however there are a lot of factors which can affect our ability to find and index links to your site. It's important to note that we add new data to our index everyday but it may take some time for us to discover backlinks to your site based on factors like crawlability of the referring pages, quality of the links and the referring pages, and more.
If you are not seeing links that you know you have, you may want to make sure that they can be indexed. It is also a good idea to check to see if we've indexed the page on which that link is found. If we haven't indexed the referring page yet, you won't see your link in our index
You can also add links to Link Tracking Lists. Once you add a link to your tracking lists we will add that page to be crawled. As long as it is accessible to our crawler, you should see the link in our index as soon as we can index those pages.
Lastly, I have a great guide here with some things to check around why we may not have found your links yet: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/moz-isnt-finding-your-links
I hope this helps — let me know if you have any further questions!
Eli

Moz does not index all link (s) at once, you have to give it time because as far as the link is indexable; it will definitely get indexed by Moz when the bots come across your site/content.
For example i had an article about Black Friday Deals and it took time for moz to index it, not because it wasn't indexable or there is any problem but rather it was indexed by Moz when they came across it; I hope this clarifies your issue.

Can I change the Link Explorer from check with Google US?
I'm trying to check the ranking keywords for a specific article with the Link Explorer, but when I hover over Ranking Keywords on the Overview it tells me that it's looking on Google US. We're a UK based company and the keywords we're trying to rank for are UK based - is there a way of changing this to match?

MOZ doesn't work for .dating and .chat domain extensions
I have been a MOZ subscriber for a few years now. I don't think MOZ works for .dating and .chat domain extensions. I have 2 sites that have authority 1 despite back links. Here are the details: https://oooo.dating > DA = 1 https://talk.chat > DA = 1 oooo has 221 links (Google search console) talk has 1317 links (Google search console) May be a MOZ staff member can look into this. If you are customer and use some of the newer domain extensions please share your details if you have the same problem.

How does spammy linked site have zero spam score?
I came across a law firm site with hundreds of horrible spam links to it. Of the 3330 links, all but 231 links have anchor text that has to do with "jordan 11s for sale". I'm trying to see how useful the moz spam score is, but clearly it's not reliable if this site has a score of zero. Many of the obviously spammy sites linking to it also have low to zero spam scores, although there are plenty in the 5-10 range. (see attached image). I also noticed that many sites were legit sites, but if you look at the source code, there's tons of hidden spam links in the code (e.g., www.chickasawgardens.net) Why would this site have a zero spam score? If you're curious, put it into open site explorer and have a look. It's a law firm based in Pennsylvania, most anchor text has to do with jordan sneakers and most links are foreign: penn-criminallawyers.com Is the spam score too lenient? Is the moz tool unable to find spam links coming from legitimate sites with hidden spam links? DrokMbP

How is Moz Page Authority Calculated?
Can anyone refer me to a document that explains the measures that go into the calculation of Moz Page Authority? I'm chiefly interested in what counts and what doesn't -- follow links, no-follow links, internal and external, what (if any) on-site factors, etc.

Why does OSE show different link equity for homepage with and without trailing slash?
Hi all, I am working with a developer who believes OSE (Open Site Explorer) is flawed. His reasoning is that OSE shows completely different link equity and domain authority for these two URLs [company name is purposely withheld]: http://www.mydomain.com/us/ and http://www.mydomain.com/us NOTE: http://www.mydomain.com/us has been properly 301-redirecting to http://www.mydomain.com/us/ for years. The developer's argument is that the URL that is being 301-redirected shouldn't have any link equity at all, therefore OSE is flawed. Here is the response I would like to give him. Please feel free to poke holes, provide feedback or flat out correct me if I am wrong: Dear inquisitive developer, Any URL that is being linked to by another site that has link equity will get link equity passed to it. This is true even if the URL is a page that doesn't exist. What it can't do (if it doesn't exist) is then pass that link equity on to another page. Moz's OSE is showing separate link equity for the two versions of this URL because other sites have linked to both versions. The fact that one 301-redirects to the other is good and ensures that link equity from one is passing to the preferred URL. The 301-redirect does not, however, remove link equity from the first URL, but rather passes the existing link equity from one to the other. Consequently, Moz's OSE is not flawed, but rather is displaying the link equity of one URL that is benefiting the other via a 301-redirect. Sincerely, Dana

Moz can't crawl domain due to IP Geo redirect loop
Hi, I'm trying to crawl our domain www.salvationarmy.org.au via my Moz account and it only ever returns results for one page when it should be crawling more than 3,000 pages. In talking to support, they have said that because of the redirect we have in place it is creating a 302 loop and therefore not delivering results. Usually in this case I would obtain Moz's IP addresses and add them to the redirect settings as an exception, but Moz have said they use cloud-based services for crawling so the IPs change all the time. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue? At this point I've paid for a year's subscription to a product I can't use. Thanks, Mel

301 Redirects: How long for Google to recognize? How long for Moz/OSE to recognize?
I redirected a few pages that had funky URL issues (capitals and underscores and useless words) to the same page renamed with proper URLs. The sitemaps were changed also, and re-submitted. Like this: mydomain.com/Not_Pertinent_Words.html >>> mydomain.com/good-words.html Google seems to have found them and changed the search engine results listing in about 8 days. But it's been about a month now and Moz and OSE still have not transferred all the strength and link data from the old URLs to the new ones. Question 1: How long does it usually take Google to transfer all the link and strength data for a 301? Question 2: How long does it take Moz and OSE to do the same? Is there something I need to do to tell them about the changes?
