How long does Moz takes to update DA and PA value?
-
I used to work daily on my office website https://quintdaily.com/ and follow link building strategy. however, since more than 40-50 days, there is no movement in my DA, as the PA has just lifted up. However, there is no changes in Domain Authority so far. Besides, other than this website, im working on location wise SEO projects, but, i can find those websites Domain Authority changed in less 20 days. Is there is time period in changing the Domain Authority once it touched DA 30+?
-
To be honest, Moz's update frequency for Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) values is not publicly disclosed and it's not a fixed time frame. It's more like a "crawl, process & update" cycle.
From what I've gathered from Moz's documentation is what I can share. Moz prioritizes high-traffic sites, so smaller or less popular sites might take longer to be crawled and updated.
In general, it's safe to assume that Moz updates DA & PA every 2-3 months, but the exact timing is not publicly disclosed. If you're concerned about the accuracy of your DA and PA scores, I recommend focusing on creating high-quality contextual backlinks, improving your website's user experience etc.
-
It gets once a month. Waiting for my site Fintechzoom DA to be updated.
-
I think moz takes a bit long to update. But as of my research DA DR doesn't count nor create any impact. Like Ehsaas Kafalat Program DA is not so much but it is getting traffic.
-
Moz typically updates Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) values about once a month. However, the exact timing can vary slightly, usually taking around three to four weeks for the updates to roll out. So, if you're eagerly awaiting the latest DA and PA values for your website, keep an eye out around that time frame for the most recent data.

I hope to see good updates on my website, [backlink services](link url) from Al-Azeem website

Ah, the waiting game! Moz typically updates its Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) values every 1-2 months. It depends on their index update schedule as bloggersman. Patience is key in the world of SEO metrics, my friend! Keep creating awesome content, and the updates will follow.

Depends upon few different factors i think!
How often is MOZ bot is coming on your site and how many time it had crawled it and moreover do you have any backlinks on that Page or Post.
All those factors i think collectively select when and how much they should update your site DA and PA.

I have had a website ebookvie.com for more than 45 days but the PA DA index has not been updated. Don't know how much longer I need to wait

The frequency at which Moz updates Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) values can vary, and it's important to understand the general timelines involved.
-
Scheduled Updates: Moz typically updates its DA and PA metrics on a monthly basis. This means that you can expect to see new data roughly once a month. Keep in mind that these updates are usually rolled out over the course of a few weeks, so not all websites will see their metrics change simultaneously.
-
Data Collection: Moz's crawler, which collects data from the web, continuously analyzes websites and their backlink profiles. This data is then used to calculate DA and PA. The exact timing of when your website is crawled can vary, so even though updates are monthly, the specific day your site's data is refreshed may differ.
-
Algorithm Changes: Moz periodically updates its algorithms to improve the accuracy of its metrics. These algorithm updates can lead to fluctuations in DA and PA values. Major algorithm changes are less frequent but can have a significant impact when they occur.
-
Historical Data: Keep in mind that DA and PA are historical metrics, so they reflect a website's performance over time. This means that recent changes in your site's backlink profile or content might not be reflected immediately in these metrics.
In summary, Moz updates its DA and PA metrics on a monthly basis, but the exact timing of when your website's data is refreshed can vary. Additionally, be aware that algorithm changes and the historical nature of these metrics can result in fluctuations over time. It's essential to focus on the quality of your website's content and backlinks rather than obsessing over day-to-day changes in these metrics.

actually this is an interesting question. I also appreciate how long it will take to update da and pa by moz. Hopefully someone can answer this important question and its original source.
-
Hey – great questions, also good to hear that your PA is improving (as a result of your link building efforts, I assume?).
If you're tracking this site as a "campaign" in Moz, then it reports on DA and PA on a month over month basis. It's also not uncommon for a DA to remain stagnant. That said, I have a few caveats in regards to reporting on DA/PA over time:
- "domain authority" and "page authority" are scores developed by Moz and while they're useful for getting a gauge of the quality and quantity of a site's internal link profile, these aren't necessarily ranking factors nor scores that search engine use to rank your site. Moz states on the above link "Domain Authority is not a metric used by Google in determining search rankings and has no effect on the SERPs."
- given that Moz's own calculation of/algorithm for DA and PA change, reporting on DA and PA over time are not reliable metrics for performance.
I'd instead encourage you to evaluate your link building performance by:
- reputation / trust of a given linking domain. Are you earning links from reputable sources with high editorial control, like Business Insider, Time, Forbes, etc?
- referrals from acquired links. Are you actually gaining referral traffic from these links?
- UX metrics of referral traffic. Once referred users land on your site, are they doing/converting/purchasing/etc. the actions you want them to?

How Long Do The Link Tracking Lists Take To Update?
Hi, How long do the link tracking lists take to update? It's been over a week and each is still showing a red cross. The reason I created it was because I migrated to a new domain name and Moz is still showing the backlinks on the old property and not the new (the domain swap happened in December 2020). I can see that Ahrefs has picked up all of the links - Both new and redirected - but Moz has not. When will this be reflected in Moz as it has already been over three months? Is there a reason for the above questions? I appreciate any response here. 🙂

Six months ago but da not increased
Hey members, I'm actually didn't understand the concept of DA and PA. I started my website www.thebesttigwelder.com in April and gradually Moz increased PA but still stuck in Da. I made backlinks but do not show any progress can anyone tell me about why I still facing issues in increasing my site DA.

MOZ Versus HUBSPOT??? If We Discontinue MOZ Subscription and Get HUBSPOT, Anything Lost?
How does Hubspot compare with MOZ? Doe it provide similar features or is the functionality very different? Is Hubspot complementary to MOZ or could it be used as a substitute? If we stopped our MOZ subscription and subscribed to Hubspot would we lose anything? Thanks, Alan

Why did my DA and Links go down?
How could I begin to research this to find out why we have less total links and a lower domain authority. Our DA has gone down two points and our total links dropped by a few thousand. I'd like to find out why that happened but I'm just not sure where to start. Thanks!

Moz is officially demigod-approved!
So, I was reading Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth tonight, and found a description of a graffiti tag in the Labyrinth that says "MOZ RULZ". What do you think? Is one of the Mozzers a demigod who has explored and survived the Labyrinth? 🙂 (See attachment for book quote.) F1WmT5r
